I was wondering if the section of code that controls the lights of the back and recent button controls them both at once or individually? It would be really cool if you could turn only 1 button back light on at a time...

Hi does anyone know a way to disable the keylights on the front of the TP2? The front keys not the keyboard keys... Whats happening to me is I use a mortscript software button to put my device to sleep. But sometimes the front 4 buttons lights stay lit. Forever... I really don't need the lights there anyway.
Thanks.
Is there a way to turn off the HOME, MENU, BACK, SEARCH button light permenatly? I just want the screen on and the buttons to remain off.
thanks
For some reason my system buttons such a home menu back and search are no longer backlighted. Is there some option how to turn it back on ?

Click to collapse
I think the backlight of the buttons is controlled be the ambient light sensor, so if you turn your screen in a dark room they will light up.
Is there anyway to reduce the delay on the lights of the capacitative buttons when you click them? For example, on stock once you press one of the buttons, the light stays on for a little after it has been pressed. I want the lights to dim right after it is pressed. Is this possible?
Has anyone had a problem with the capacitive buttons not lighting up? The back button (on the right) does not light up at all anymore, and the recents button on the left only comes on if I am scrolling on the screen. Both buttons work, just not always lighting up
I'm on my second Note 4 and neither one have I had any issue with them lighting up.
Not sure if this will fix or help, but in settings->display the option "touch key light duration" will allow you to choose how the capacitive buttons light up. Maybe check that setting out and see if you can get anything to change in your situation. Good luck!
