Game Launcher / Game Tools - app classified as game incorrectly - Note 7 Questions & Answers

So far two apps I use appear in Game Launcher, and on launch get limited as per my Game Tools settings even if launched from a normal launcher.
They are: Network Monitor Mini Pro, and the Three UK main account app.
I've tried removing them from Game Launcher but that doesn't stop Game Tools from affecting them. I can't seen any controls at all for Game Tools to mark an app as a game (or not).
Anyone else figured out how to remove a (misidentified) game from Game Launcher & Game Tool control?

Let me please rephrase myself. I meant when someone states an app they use, put a "what it does" beside it.
Example:
Sirius App - Sirius Satellite Radio app allowing you to listen to Satellite Radio.

LG Optimus G Recommended apps [Last update: 2013-12-30]

Hello. I had very much problems with apps. I didn't know which is better and which is really usable. So I will try to help you with apps - this is list of the best apps:
Apps for all users
Everything for browsing:
Browsers:
1. Boat Browser: I think it's the best browser and I'm using it right now - it is really fast, faster than Opera Mobile, Dolphin or Chrome! Supports almost everything, has some themes and add-ons. Also, it has nice speed dial.
2. Opera Mini: Browser that will help you save some data, but it doesn't support flash, backround JavaScript and etc.
3. Skyfire: An alternative browser with flash support, but quite slow.
4. Dolphin Browser: Quite fast browser. This one is very customizable and it has very much Add-ons, themes and etc.
5. Dolphin Browser® Mini: Something between Opera Mini and Dolphin browser HD. This browser is slower than Opera Mini, but faster than Dolphin HD. Also it is more customizable than Opera Mini, but not as customizable as Dolphin HD.

I bought a LG Optimus G so I'm ready to support this thread again.
Moved it from Galaxy Mini forum and now I'm updating the list,
because all these apps that you see now are a bit old and this list
was dedicated to Galaxy Mini forum, not to the Optimus G forum,
so all these games are really low graphics and apps can
be old or something. So, I'm starting updating this list, don't worry
guys, don't worry.

Swiftkey - already here.
Proxydroid - Not added, I must to try at first.
Chomp sms - not really. Yep, it's faster than Handcent or Go SMS Pro. But it's much more disgusting than Go SMS Pro. When you have such as fast device as ours - speed of app doesn't matters very much. Go SMS is simple, beautiful and I love it. I couldn't say this about Chomp. It still needs some improvements on look.
Aviary - I love it, much better than PicSay.
Swapps - added. Reminds me Ubuntu Unity .
Network Monitor Mini - added.
App backup & restore - I think Titanium Backup is enough for everyone . So - not, I won't add this one.
Water Logic - added. Really good one, if you like logical games .

I just play the real MTG Card Game though, that's why I suggested it. For the ADW, it's APW or Android Pro Widgets. It is really useful to me.

Add Real Racing 3 in racing games. Very addictive, played it for 60 hours until now
Also ES Explorer is great and in my opinion better than Astro since ver 3.

Little update! It would be awesome if someone would make this thread sticky. Happy new year, guys!

Favourite apps on Moto G?

Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to XDA and I'm thinking of getting the Moto G soon. I'm not sure but I've set up this thread to see what your favourite apps you use on the Moto G.
These are the apps that I have personally tried on the Moto G (my cousins) and that I'm going to get:
Tune In radio (excellent internet radio)
Pocket Casts (excellent podcast app)
Google Keep (handy to make notes)
Google Drive (access files wirelessly) or Box (I got 50GB because I had the Xperia Tipo before [before it broke], but the interface isn't that good)
Swiftkey/Google Keyboard
Google Experience Launcher (can anyone redirect me to a reliable and virus-free apk please? Thanks)
Quizup (excellent quiz game, much better than Flappy birds lol)
Dead Trigger 2 and Modern Combat 4/5 (5 might be out by then)
Riptide GP2
ES File Explorer
Pushbullet
Dashclock (anyone know any good extensions)
So how does it sound? No twitter or facebook (not allowed by my parents, but got G+ so doesn't matter!)
Titanium backup
Xposed framework
Gravity box
Greenify
Root Explorer
System uninstaller
These are the must have applications for rooted Moto g

There's actually already a thread for this topic: this one
Being a business entrepreneur I am dedicated in using the apps those are meant for the business aspects. Like the project management tool from basecamp, time tracking app from Replicon, accounting tool Quickbooks. Apart from those watsapp, facebook all are meant for entertainment. Cleandesk for cache cleaning. These are some of my favorite apps. Apart from these all some other apps also resides but these are the major ones.
Hi guys, i heard there is a Photoshop mobile app for tablet (Tegra Note). Is that app available for this phone? Is there any of you who has managed to run this app on this phone?

Game Launcher on Att S9

Game Launcher doesn't seem to exist on the AT&T S9. Since Game Tools is depreciated, I am trying to look to the Game Launcher to change settings again, but no dice. What can I do?

Incompatible sideloaded android app on Shield, how to get it working?

I have sideloaded bunch of android (cellphone apps) apps to my Shield. Sometimes app called "set orientation" is needed. There is one app, that is official IPTV app from my internet provider. I have account for it, but that app is full optimized for cellphones and tablets... it wont boot in shield at all. Shows only white screen and crashes after 5 seconds. Is there some kind a 3rd party addons/apps that could help me with this. That app would be game changer, if i could use it with shield. App is called "Uusi DNA T" (version 1.1.7 is the newest)
Could someone please try tricks to it. Is there possibility to hack that app some way to make it compatible with Shield?

Without knowing the app or running any logcats to see why why it crashes my best guess would be the app is not designed to run on large screens and has a dpi limit and will crash if you run it on a device that exceeds this limit
You have three options really
See if there's a version with no dpi limit (designed for android tv or firetv for example)
Change the dpi to something lower on the shield (may require root or use of adb & lowering it will effect device resolution)
But the easiest way is to chromecast the app to the shield
If the app itself doesn't support chromecast so you can't cast directly from the app to the tv just cast your entire phone to the tv
Download Google home app and then cast your device to the shield - results may vary based on your phone performance

Thanks for reply. I did contact dev and he sayed that app is compatitle with AndroidTV but there is such strict permissions to distribute IPTV, DVB and OTT material in one app, so it is about that. Google´s platform is rejecting that app to launch i understand. App is working great on iOS and Android. Dev promised to take those permissions to "do list" so meaby that app is going to be AndroidTV compatible in future.

Looking at it in more detail it looks like it's crashing because it may be using an outdated firebase sdk (or it needs some patch applied) resulting in it not being able to handle the Google play services version on the shield
