is it possible to port the s-pen function on note 7 into my note 4? anyone able to do it? i only favor note 7 just for the pen function, and nothing much else
I would like this too, I'm currently using the X-rom full Note 7 Port on my N910G and it's great but battery life, screen brightness, AOD and no fingerprint scanner are a shame, if I could go back to my stock Note 4 and add Note 7 dialer and contacts, quick settings and notification drop down, menu, AOD and S-pen features (Grace UX I guess), I think that's it, and I would be happy.

This may be my personal preference and complaint hope this Q&A helps other users too.
I was used my touchwiz devices and used S-pen and s-memo, more extensively than most average users.
I even had chance to experience note 3 from my girlfriend, I used note I and II previous. Now, I switch out to Nexus and got Galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition. I couldn't help but feel very familiar to note 3. It felt really same the screen showed improvement but it just felt like they just moved everything from note 3 right onto 2014 note 10.1 if anything it felt really buggy. Buggy as my old 1st at&t tab 7.
---main concern: never were a fan of physical home button. Aesthetic point of view it may be hit or miss. I still don't know how it would look w/o it but the glossy, plastic-ky material is bigger issue. Home button is annoying reading or using in portrayed mode, a lot of review on internet mentioned it. Q1. does anyone know how to disable this? this isn't my priority.
Q2. (LIKE IN THE TITLE) I want to put to NAVIGATION BAR like nexus or like the old honeycomb devices so i'll have home, back maybe even menu at any orientation. I see people experimenting with rooted app / ROM but I was looking for stock option.
Q3. coming from using note 1 and 2, PAGE BUDDY. I saw twitter's "COVER" lock screen. it seems like a alternative but I would like permanently set layout whenever there's an action. Anyone find app alternative or repack .apk ?
lastly, can anyone point out how to transcribe script into text on memo? like what action memo does. I don't like action memo. I like pen button, double tap on screen to launch quick note much better. They should have made s-note versatile instead of make that separate. I really don't like pen action. NOTE 2 is far advanced and easy in usability than any note device. I maybe tuned into it I'm wondering if there's any other user feel the same?
Q2:
What you could do is modify the build.prop before you flash the rom. You open up the zip file and activate softkeys then flash it. You won't be able to activate the buttons without root after the firmware is already on the device. I don't know if modifying the build.prop will trip knox.

The displaycolors looks a bit weak and the black isnt really black.... A little blue note....
What do you mean with s pen menü?
Samsung features like Aircommand etc are not implemented.
I have no issues with the display.

I just purchased a Note 3 neo SM-N750K. Below the status bar I cannot select things with figure. Like create message on top right, Similarly I cannot change brightness too. But with S pen there is no problem.
I want to know is it a bug or it a normal feature of note 3 neo?
Hi would it be possible to get the yellow font when screen is off to take notes in? As i did check settings there’s no option. Also i did download S NOTE apk it installed fine, but it still don’t give the option to change the colour to yellow? Does anyone know how would i go about achieving that? Thanks
I don't think that is possible as that feature maybe exclusive to the Note 9.

Just got the UI 5.1 update. I added the Battery Widget to my HOME screen. The phone battery shows. And it I turn on anyother BT device, the battery status for the BT shows. Settings for the widget had Spen enabled, but it does not show. I have the Fold Edition Spen. When I open the phone, the spen works so I assume it it properly setup. I tried setting up the battery widget on both the front screen and unfolded screen - same results on both.
Any ideas why the spen battery status does not show on the widget?
Anyone have the Fold Spen show up on the battery widget?

AFAIK only the spen pro for the Fold 4 has a battery and Bluetooth.

Sorry, I do have the Spen Pro for the Fold 4. It does not show.
U sure the S Pen is in Z Fold mode?

I forgot about that. Yes, the switch is on the side for Fold Mode.
