Hi guys, so I don't know how to proceed with this update... I'm a VM user and my One V has it's bootloader unlocked, is running TWRP2 recovery, and has a rooted stock rom... I tried installing the update but my phone just reboots into recovery.
You need stock recovery to do it.
Sent from my HTC One V using Tapatalk 2
Similar problem - the phone reboots into recovery (which is ok because I need to install the new update), but as I select the OTA update to install,
I get an error message. Is it just because OTA does not work with these custom ROMs?
Stuck here. Can anyone help?

Hi,
So I tried to update my HTC one M8 to the latest software and keep encountering this issue, anyone know how to fix it?
Thank you
Yes, flash the stock recovery. You can't update via a custom recovery. And make sure you have the stock rom installed too (with that i mean no modified system)
Hi, I had problems with my phone lately and I made them worse and the phone got stuck on boot animation. So I just flashed stock ROM via ODIN... Only now I know that if I flashed 4.4.2 my bl is now locked and I can't root and install other ROMS, is it true? Is there a way to fix it?
Thank you :]

I have the same issue. This is because you have the firmware for other regions. I like taiwan version and I can not find the drain firmware.
Hi,
I flashed a stock firmware in odin to fix a bootloop issue. The issue was resolved however on booting to the welcome screen the phone is unresponsive. I think I made a mistake by using the CSC and CSC_home during the flash. Has anyone experienced this issue?
TIA

You either use CSC OR CSC_home during the flash...not both...If you use CSC_home odin flash firmware without wiping your apps, user data, and settings...Use CSC only if you want to delete everything...
