@Alberto96 Do you think GPS performance will be a problem due to the MediaTek MT6750T? I remember you said something about this SoC being non-impressive in terms of GPS (and needless to say all the complaints about the Doogee Y6 Max's gps performance).

Yeah it may be a problem, but based on my experience, OUKITEL is pretty good when it comes to GPS antennas so i guess they will be able to obtain something usable.
Nothing sure though, i hope to receive it as soon as possible and let you know

Review (part 1)
Introduction
This is the OUKITEL U11 Plus.
Hardware
Following some previous OUKITEL's flagship, also this one is powered by a Mediatek MT6750T (the low-cost Helio P10 basically), with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM. As regards the camera hardware, it features a Micron AR1335 (13MP) for the Back Camera, and another Micron AR1335s (i guess the 's' means small), still 13MP, for the Front Camera. Probably the only device from OUKITEL with a real 13MP Front Camera.
Unboxing
Packaging comes with basic accessories, the standard kit provided by OUKITEL: 1x Micro-USB Cable, 1x 1.5A USB Charger, 1x Quick Start Guide, 1x Warranty Certificate, 1x TPU Cover and the Smartphone (of course). A screen protector is already applied.
The design of the device is pretty unique in my opinion (excluding the camera positioning), with a Plastic Back Cover featuring a satisfying texture, nice to touch, but really slippery. Consider using the included TPU cover to avoid any possible accidental drop. Thankfully the chassis is made of metal, making the device pretty solid.
It is 15.45x7.93x0.87cm, definitely the most compact 5.7 inches device i have ever reviewed, with a weight of 217g, unfortunately pretty heavy considering that it doesn't have any metal back cover neither an huge battery inside.
On the front side there is the standard (well nowadays almost all devices have it) 2.5D Curved Display and the upper front side of the device features a Front-Facing Camera supported by a Single-LED Flashlight, an Earpiece, and the Sensors hole that includes Light, Proximity and Gesture Sensors. A Notification LED is here (RGB).
This is how the Notification LED looks like.
As regards the lower front side, there isn't anything at all because this device is using on-screen software keys and the Fingerprint Sensor is on the back.
On the back side there is the Plastic Back Cover (non-removable, but i think it isn't hard to remove considering the material), with the texture i mentioned before.
The upper rear side of the device features the Camera Sensor supported by a Single-LED - Single-Tone Flashlight, together with the Fingerprint Scanner in the center.
On the lower rear side, excluding the usual OUKITEL logo with other certifications, there isn't anything at all because the Speaker is positioned on the lower side of the device.
Device
Screen
The screen is probably the best part of this device, with the usual high temperature (cold) that most OUKITEL devices have, but in the same time, there isn't a single negative point about everything else. (white balance, colors reproduction...)
Its light sensor supports smooth light changes with a maximum brightness of ~400lux. Not bad at all.
Viewing Angles are as good as you would expect from a good IPS screen.
Camera
Just like most latest devices from OUKITEL, this Micron Camera Sensor used for the back camera works pretty good on Mediatek Devices, excluding the high noise level that unfortunately is present also on this device.
Something that i don't accept is the lack of an HDR mode, missing also on the K6000 Plus with a different camera sensor. I know that most OUKITEL devices had issues with this mode in the past, but it would have been better to implement it properly instead of removing the feature completely.
Outdoor Photos look pretty detailed, but slightly darker than usual.
The flashlight seems to produce enough light to support the sensor in low-light conditions, but it doesn't look to be 100% on-sync with the shot. (similar issue noticed on the K6000 Plus)
As regards Video Recording, the quality and frame-rate of 1080p30 videos is OK, as good as you would expect from a 13MP camera sensor.
Probably the most interesting feature of this device is the front camera. Being a smaller version of the Back Camera sensor (same model, same brand), photos look pretty similar, but also with the same small issue (not 100% on-sync flashlight). It is a wide-angle variant.
Audio
Unfortunately something that disappointed me is the Speaker Quality. It doesn't only lack low-frequencies, but, also, the volume is really low. Considering the size of the device, there should be enough space to fit a larger and more powerful speaker. I don't understand this choice.
As regards the Microphone, well it is completely the opposite compared to the speaker. It seems to have a really high sensitivity, recording with maximum clarity and balanced volume.
GPS
GPS Quality is almost excellent, with a really high amount of satellites outdoors, and a decent amount of satellites indoors. The signal isn't 100% stable though, sometimes dropping from 16 satellites to less than half. GPS accuracy is higher than average: 7 meters outdoors, 8 meters indoors. A little software adjustment is required.

Telephony, Mobile Network & WiFi
Providing full european bands support (with 4G Band 20), the device was able to keep a stable connection to my 4G Network, with decent speeds (considering other devices tested in the same place) and mid-high signal.
WiFi 5GHz is supported, and thanks to the plastic back cover, there are no issues with signal interferences or shielding. Connected at 121Mbps, i was able to reach almost ~60Mbps. Probably not as high as expected from the Link Speed, but still better than using the 2.4GHz connection.
Battery Life
As my usual reviewing routine, i measured the real battery capacity using an USB Tester, and it seems to be way higher than declared, with an extra capacity of ~300mAh (declared 3700mAh, real ~4010mAh)
Luckily, PCMark run just fine on this device even though it is running Android Nougat. Other Mediatek Devices with Nougat (and also some with Marshmallow) caused the Benchmark to stop by itself after some hours. The result is really good, 10 hours for a 3700mAh battery...outstanding.
As regards battery charging times, unfortunately there is an issue with the OS, capping the maximum Charging Current to 0.6A instead of 1.5A, thus causing the charging procedure to be really slow. More than 4 hours required to charge the device completely.
Software
When a company keeps using a Clean Android OS for their devices, i am always happy. (even though the OUKITEL OS found on the K4000 Plus was impressive for a first release)
Using Android 7.0 Nougat, with latest security patches (at least at the time of the review), the device runs without any performance issue, the UI is smooth, with no crap pre-installed.
Just like most Mediatek Devices, also this one features MiraVision, Gestures (such as tap-to-wake) and so on...
There is no Gyroscope or Magnetometer/Compass...as well as the entire OUKITEL line-up. I have already requested this feature many times to the company, even mentioned in all my reviews, but they keep ignoring the request. They could have included at least the Magnetometer/Compass, it is essential in 2017.
No malwares detected with Malware-Bytes Anti-Malware using latest definitions.
As regards the Fingerprint Scanner management, there isn't any issue to report. It works as good as it should, maybe slighly slower to unlock compared to latest OUKITEL devices, but still fast enough.
From a developer prospective, considering the delay between the recognition of the fingerprint and the power-on procedure of the screen, i guess the delay is caused by a slow response-time of the screen.

Benchmarks
I have used 3DMark, AndroBench, Antutu Benchmark, Epic Citadel, GeekBench 4, GFXBench, PCMark (Work 2.0, Computer Vision, Storage & Work 1.0) and Vellamo to stress the device to the limit. I won’t test Games or Video Playback because there are already some related tests included in these Benchmark suites.
3DMark – Thankfully the Mali-T860MP2 is able to beat the old T720 used on the MT6753 with no doubts.
AndroBench – Thanks to the Samsung eMMC, there are no I/O performance issues at all. Balanced Read/Write speed.
Antutu Benchmark – I won’t say a lot about this benchmark, this isn’t as reliable as others. I’m providing this just for benchmarks lovers.
Epic Citadel – 41FPS is a good result for smooth frame-rate with most games.
GeekBench – CPU Performance isn't special compared to other MT6750T (8x Cortex-A53) devices, similar performance. Still too low single-core performance, but decently high multi-core perf.

GFXBench – As expected, this hard-to-handle benchmark struggles to run on this GPU, but it is really demanding compared to what games really require to run.
PCMark – Usual scores for this Benchmark Suite, do not need to be commented.

Vellamo – Browser Score seems to be a bit lower than expected, but the CPU score seems to be reasonably high, almost beating the Helio X10 (MT6795) of the Meizu MX4.
Conclusions
Being a reviewer i am pretty sure you might think that writing the conclusions paragraph is pretty sure for me, but especially for devices that do not have any major issue, this becomes a pretty hard task.
This is a device with a great potential, with most of it already unlocked, but there are some small improvements that must be made to make it perfect, such as the out-of-sync Flashlight and slow screen reaction to the unlock.
With a good balance between performance and battery life, i can consider this device as something that should not be ignored at all. I like the design and, most of all, the super-bright and sharp screen.

Getting support is issue for these nice devices. You are off your own when you are buying these devices.

I've seen phones with the MediaTek MT6750t CPU that can access the GSM frequency bands 850/1900, but this phone doesn't come with them. The mediatek website also says this CPU can access all frequency bands so it must be possible. How can I unlock these bands for my oukitel? Thank you.

You can't, only OUKITEL might be able to do this via a firmware replacement.

OUKITEL is starting to work on a new smartphone named C5 Pro with proper screen protection and all-metal frame.
Here you can see the first rendering of the C5 Pro. The texture printed back cover and the all-metal frame are pretty noticeable. The texture printed back requires more complicated procedure than any other battery covers. Also, the OUKITEL's factory, will do one more extra process to make the texture's print more clear and anti-abrasive. The all-metal frame is CNC crafted to make it more comfortable to handle.
The C5 Pro will come with a compact and handy body since it is designed with a 5-inch HD display for one-hand operation. According to the OUKITEL product team, it will use Asahi or Corning Glass for the screen to mitigate shocks efficiently and to make it harder against sharp scratches. It should have a 9H hardness and more than 800MPa stress value for the screen. (to be verified though)
As for the specs, the C5 pro is said to come with a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core 1.3GHz chipset, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and 5.0 inch HD display.​

Smartphone manufacturers are paying more attention on the durability of smartphones. OUKITEL is one of them who is doing a good job in this field. Recently OUKITEL introduced another shock-proof smartphone C5 Pro.

This is the OUKITEL C5 Pro.
Hardware
This device, an evolution of the great OUKITEL C4, is powered by a Mediatek MT6737 SOC clocked at 1.25GHz, just like its predecessor, together with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM. It features a 8MP (interpolated from 5MP) rear camera and a 5MP (interpolated from 2MP) front camera.
Unboxing
Packaging comes with some accessories: 1x Micro-USB Cable, 1x 5V/1A USB Charger, 1x Quick Start Guide, 1x TPU Cover, and the Smartphone (of course). Unlike the C4, there the TPU Cover is included here.
Talking about the dimensions, it is 14.46x7.22x0.98cm, not the smallest 5 inches device you can find. It weights 178g, similar to other metal devices.
The chassis is interesting, with rounded corners, solid metal and antenna bands (that should be useless with a Plastic Back Cover). The device feels rocking solid just like almost all OUKITEL devices, and doesn't have any minor design issue.
On the front side there is the standard 2.5D Curved Display and the upper front side of the device features a Front-Facing Camera, an Earpiece, and the Sensors hole that includes Light, Proximity and Gesture Sensors. No Notification LED is here, just like all C-series devices.
On the lower front side there is the Touch Keys area, with Menu, Home and Back buttons.
On the back side there is the removable back cover, with a 3D-textured surface that feels and looks great.
The upper rear side of the device features the small rounded Camera Sensor supported by a single Flashlight.
On the lower rear side there is the OUKITEL logo together with the nice Speaker holes.

Screen
Screen Quality seems to be slightly worse compared to the C4, colors looks a bit washed out and the brightness isn't high at all.
The Light Sensor supports smooth light changes, with a proper auto-brightness management. This is its maximum brightness. There may be some issues under direct-sunlight.
Viewing Angles matches IPS screen capabilities, with no major issues.
Maximum 2 points are supported here.
Camera
Just like the C4, this C5 Pro features exactly the same camera sensors. A GalaxyCore GC5005 (5MP) for the Back Camera and another GalaxyCore (2MP) for the front camera. The result is almost identical, decent photos considering the price target. Of course this isn't a camera-focused device so do not expect miracles.

Photos taken on medium light conditions are average, with an high amount of noise.
Something that isn't working properly is the flashlight, it is completely out of sync with the shot, and a result you get an almost dark photo. This is a Software Bug that OUKITEL MUST fix. Looking forward to an OTA Update.
As regards Video Recording, 720p videos are decent but with low framerate, starting from 15fps up to 25fps.
Front Camera records some barely sufficient photos that might be useful for Video-Chats or similar. It isn't a Wide-Angle variant.
Audio
Speaker Quality is slightly worse compared to the C4, it lacks low frequencies and also a bit of volume. Maybe they had to reduce the cost of the Speaker in order to provide the Metal Chassis, a bit disappointing considering that both C3 and C4 had such a great and loud speaker.
As regards the Microphone, it works decently well in any case (in-call, VOIP, etc...), and the earpiece is loud enough (maybe a bit too much) to be used in any condition.
GPS
GPS Signal is as good/bad as other MT6737M devices, nothing serious to complain about it.

Telephony, Mobile Network & WiFi
NOTE: If you see "WIND" (Operator Name) on some screenshots, that's my secondary SIM with no Mobile Data, Signal and Speed Tests are made using my Primary SIM Card. This is used only for minor tests.
OUKITEL provides full european bands support, with 4G Band 20 (some other Chinese Smartphones don’t have it).
3G Signal Reception is accurate too, actually I never managed to get connected to the 2G Network of my Mobile Operator because there was always some 3G Signal available. (luckily there are no coverage issues here)
4G Network Speed is average, even though it highly depends on your Mobile Operator and mine isn’t pretty good.
WiFi 5GHz isn't supported here. With my 2.4GHz network, i was able to reach almost 39mbps, connected at 65mbps, with the same ping that i get on my Desktop PC.
Battery Life
As always, i have measured the real battery capacity using my USB Tester, and it seems that the real battery capacity is nearly exact compared to the declared value (declared 2000mAh, real ~1960mAh).
This is the PCMark Battery Test. Minimum Brightness, WiFi On, SIM Card Inserted and Active.
As regards battery charging times, the 5V/1A charger is enough for a normal charging runtime, but you can't expect super-fast times.
Software
Just like almost all OUKITEL devices, also this one uses a clean Android 6.0 OS with some minor customizations. I know, it doesn't have Nougat, but OUKITEL has already planned the update so don't worry about it.
Just like other last-gen Mediatek Devices, there are some typical features such as Gestures, Scheduled Power On/Off, etc…
I haven't noticed any lag/stutter while using this device, except the usual MT6737M animations issue that no one is able to fix.​

Benchmarks
I have used 3DMark, AndroBench, Antutu Benchmark, Epic Citadel, GeekBench 4, GFXBench, PCMark (Work 2.0, Computer Vision, Storage & Work 1.0) and Vellamo to stress the device to the limit. 3DMark – GPU Performance isn't superb, lower than MT6735, i don't know why every MT6737 device has this Graphics Performance issue.
AndroBench – eMMC Performance is sufficient, Write Speed lower than average.
Antutu Benchmark – I won’t say a lot about this benchmark, this isn’t as reliable as others. I’m providing this just for benchmarks lovers.
Epic Citadel – As you can see, 3D performance is low. Not as good as MT6735, somehow lower than other MT6737 devices.
GeekBench – CPU Performance is nearly as good as other CPUs with the same configuration (4x Cortex-A53), enough to handle almost every type of activity.

GFXBench – As already said, GPU performance is lower than MT6735 so it clearly confirms that Mediatek broke something in this SOC.
PCMark – Sufficient Performance, nothing to complain about it.

Vellamo – Just like other MT6737 devices, you can't expect high scores here.
Conclusions
Starting from the C3, the C-series devices from OUKITEL always impressed me, but this time, considering that the C4 was just enough even though it had a weaker build quality, i'm not as impressed or satisfied.
Compared to the C4, there are some upgrades and downgrades. More RAM/ROM together with a Better Chassis, but weaker screen and speaker compared to the C4. Anyway, just like almost OUKITEL devices, the price-quality ratio is unbeatable.
So, do i recommend it? If you have a C4 and you are satisfied with it, no, otherwise if you are searching for a low-end device with some decent hardware, then this might be a good choice.

Just like all previous gen devices (C3 and C4), it doesn't seem that users who buy this kind of ultra-cheap devices are interested to join a community.
Well the battery is sufficient, there isn't much power to handle.

I'd bought this phone but i can't find Rom update (The OTA update won't avaible). I'd found some rom on NeedRom but it's indicate that thre are for MT6737M, but my phone is MT6737 (i didn't find any C5Pro with a MT6737M), so can i download and install needrom Rom ?

Don't worry, in reality the CPU is MT6737M, not MT6737. (otherwise we would get different performance results)

Did it go ok? Asking because the comments on Needrom are not all very positive about the update. But also notice that the comments are older; for previous versions of the update.
Is there a lot of Chinese crapware on this ROM?

No problems after intallation, everythinks seems ok.
This ROM if free of crapware and gots stock launcher (not pixel launcher), some menu haven't been translate (in French) but this not a problem.
On need ROM problems seem to be for 1.1 version i've download the 1.3 one and it's ok.

Not sure if many people are following this thread. Happy to answer any questions or discuss this phone.
Have to say, so far, really disappointed in the camera. Is there anything can be done? My last phone was a Sesonn N9700 and pictures were MUCH better. Oukitel just seems really noisy, in all conditions? Anyone figured out some good settings, or is it just bad hardware?
Also interested in getting Android 7? Isn't this supposed to be available by Wireless update - I got a small fix update but still Android 6 ???? Will it become available? Should I use the version on NeedROM? Is this equally optimised/official? Given Oukitel are releasing Android 6 updates, is it better to stick with this for now??

OUKITEL releases K10000 Pro at MWC 2017
According to the poster in OUKITEL booth, the K10000 Pro defined its slogan as ”To be the King”. Taking a look at the folder poster, K10000 Pro is improving many aspects compared to the K10000. The battery will be a 10100mAh variant packing a 12V/2A flash charger. It’s still 5.5 inch display but the resolution has been improved to 1920*1080 for more fantastic visual effect. The chipset has been improved to MT6750T octa-core processor together with 4GB RAM+32GB ROM. The camera is getting some exciting changes too: 8MP front facing camera and 16MP primary camera. It seems that all the main specs are upgrading to a higher level.

I'm not sure but it seems to be the K10000 Pro, but the Orange Variant. Unfortunately there is a reflection in the photo that doesn't allow to see the camera sensor.

Yes, that too because i think the original name of the new K10000 was K10000s and this is K10000 Pro.
So, it could be 2 models K10000 Pro and K10000s.
In this case, i would definitely buy the waterproof! its awesome!!!!

Hi, I have just receive my Oukitel K10000 Pro
First thing, the very bad idea for the USB port, it's an specific USB cable (the metal connector is more long than others!)
I think to cut a smal part of my phone, to can put any USB cables ...
Actualy, I try to root it, but I don't get it yet (OEM Unlock is enable).
I can get FastBoot try to boot other receovery.img, but reboot (none of tried image will boot actualy, no ADB root availiable).
Stock ROM have Google Apps, no blotwares. No root acces. I have in the box, silicone case, leater case, screens protections. Packaging is good.
I will test it whn I get it root, no before (because I m afraid for hidden communications in backgroud, this is a Chiness phone )
And ? Yes, it's strang to get it in the hand, it's heavy

Review (part 1)
Introduction
This is the OUKITEL K10000 Pro.
Hardware
Starting from the previous K10000, OUKITEL is known to release Smartphone with a battery as big as something you can find in a Power Bank, and with this K10000 Pro it is becoming really serious, with mid-end specs instead of low-end that probably limited the users target. Just like latest flagships from OUKITEL such as the K6000 Plus and U11 Plus, also this one is powered by a Mediatek MT6750T, but with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM.
Unboxing
The Packaging of this device is unique, i have never seen so many indipendent boxes and amount of accessories for a single smartphone. As a result, i need to divide the unboxing in multiple parts.
MAIN PACKAGE: 1x Smartphone (of course, even though the box can contain two of them), 1x TPU/Silicone Case, 1x User Manual and 1x Warranty Certificate
PACKAGE #1: 1x Leather Pouch (that can't be used with the Silicon Case)
PACKAGE #2: 1x 5/7/9/12V USB Charger (Pump Express)
PACKAGE #3: 1x OTG Cable and 1x Micro-USB Cable
PACKAGE #4: 1x Glass Screen Protector (with all tools to apply it)
Just impressive. Also, a Plastic Screen Protector is already pre-applied.

The design is both elegant and sporty in the same time, with a mixture between a Vertu and some other brands that make this kind of bulky premium devices. The Quality is great, with Metal for the Side Chassis and Plastic for everything. Maybe some extra Metal would have been better, but this is already an heavy device, the more Metal you add, the more heavy the device becomes.
It is 16.1x7.74x14.35cm, as thick as a Power Bank more or less, but the overall size isn't bad at all, considering that i have reviewed devices with a similar size but much lower battery capacity. The weight is...really high. It isn't impossible to say that it doesn't feel heavy, it is heavy and bulky, but it couldn't have been otherwise.
On the front side there is a rare-to-find Flat Display (no 2.5D) and the upper front side of the device features a Front-Facing Camera, an Earpiece, and the Sensors hole that includes Light, Proximity and Gesture Sensors. Unfortunately, a Notification LED isn't here. Why? I guess because you can keep the screen-on forever (Daydream/Screen Saver) and the device will still reach the end of the day. It is still a missing feature though.
As regards the lower front side, there is the soft-keys zone with Recents, Home and Back buttons, not backlit.
On the back side there is the Plastic Back Cover with a Leather (synthetic or real, i don't know, it feels synthetic to me) Layer in the center.
The upper rear side of the device features the Camera Sensor supported by a Single-LED - Single-Tone Flashlight, together with the Fingerprint Scanner in the center.
On the lower rear side there is only the OUKITEL logo since the Speaker is positioned on the lower side of the device.
Device
Screen
As an huge upgrade from the K10000 (not PRO), this one has a FHD IPS Screen with a overall good color reproduction, still with the usual high color temperature that doesn't make the white balance perfect. It is still better than the K6000 Plus screen though.
Its light sensor supports smooth light changes with a maximum brightness of ~370lux. Not too high, neither too low.
Viewing Angles are as good as you would expect from a good IPS screen, and the lack of a 2.5D glass reduces even more the gap between the screen and the real glass.
Camera
Unlike what happened with the U11 Plus featuring the same Rear Camera sensor (AR1335), this one has a complete set of Camera Features, with an overall decent photos quality and good performance for low-light shots. Unfortunately though, it shares the same flashlight bug found on most latest OUKITEL devices. (out-of-sync)
Some HDR On/Off shots plus some extra random photos.
Excluding the out-of-sync issue, the flashlight is pretty powerful and is able to provide a lot of light to support the camera sensor.
As regards Video Recording, 1080p30 videos are recorded with a decent level of details, just remember that there is no OIS so you can’t expect stable videos.
The Front Camera is a standard GalaxyCore GC5025 (5MP), with Wide-Angle.
Audio
Speaker Quality is average, with almost inexistent low-frequencies but with an high level of volume.
As regards the Microphone, it is decent, maybe not the best i have ever tried on a smartphone, but still acceptable. In-Call Quality is decent too, nothing to complain about.
GPS
Thanks to the Plastic Back Cover, the GPS gets maximum signal everywhere, everytime. Probably the most performant MT6750T device for Signal and Accuracy.

Telephony, Mobile Network & WiFi
Providing full european bands support (with 4G Band 20), the device was able to keep a stable connection to my 4G Network, but there is an issue somewhere with the Modem/Baseband, because even with maximum 4G signal, the speed was really bad (as you can see from the screenshot). OUKITEL, take a look at this.
I know that this is weird, but as regards the WiFi Connection the situation is completely different. I have never seen a smartphone with a mid-end Mediatek CPU reaching so high speed (almost the maximum from my internet connection) using my 5.0GHz connection. Outstanding.
Battery Life
This battery monster isn't only declared to have a 10000mAh, but it also matches that capacity for real, with a small extra of 240mAh.
Also on this device, i was able to run the PCMark Battery Test correctly, and the result is as impressive as you would expect from a 10000mAh battery. Almost 24 hours. Sincerely, i might have expected an even higher result, but i think the device still needs some improvements for power management.
As regards battery charging times, the MTK Pump Express charger is just a MUST in order to recharge the smartphone in a reasonable time. It gets a bit hot while charging, but it takes more or less 3 hours, and the ambient temperature was 32/33 degrees celsius. (yeah a bit hot to be an indoor temperature)
Software
Following most previous OUKITEL devices, including the K10000 (not PRO), also this one comes with a Clean Android 7.0 Nougat release, with May 2017 security patches and no pre-installed bloatware.
The UI feels smooth, with rocking solid performance even while running intensive tasks, and almost inexistent micro-lags.
The usual pack of Mediatek features is here, with MiraVision, Gestures (such as tap-to-wake) and so on...
There is no Gyroscope or Magnetometer/Compass...also on this one...
No malwares detected with Malware-Bytes Anti-Malware using latest definitions.
The Fingerprint Scanner is accurate. I managed to unlock the screen everytime. As regards the unlock speed, it is almost instant.

Review (part 2)
Benchmarks
I have used 3DMark, AndroBench, Antutu Benchmark, Epic Citadel, GeekBench 4, GFXBench, PCMark (Work 2.0, Computer Vision, Storage & Work 1.0) and Vellamo to stress the device to the limit. I won’t test Games or Video Playback because there are already some related tests included in these Benchmark suites.
3DMark – Thankfully the Mali-T860MP2 is able to beat the K10000 (not PRO) with no doubts.
AndroBench – Sligtly unstable I/O performance, with high read speed but a bit too much low write speed.
Antutu Benchmark – I won’t say a lot about this benchmark, this isn’t as reliable as others. I’m providing this just for benchmarks lovers.
Epic Citadel – 37.9FPS, just sufficient for acceptable 1080p gaming experience.
GeekBench – 8x Cortex-A53 cores with the usual low single core performance and decent multi-core performance.

GFXBench – As expected, this hard-to-handle benchmark struggles to run on this GPU, but it is really demanding compared to what games really require to run.
PCMark – Usual scores for this Benchmark Suite, do not need to be commented.

Vellamo – Compared to other MT6750T devices i have reviewed, i think there is something limiting CPU performance slightly, i guess the lack of a metal back cover causes the CPU to get hot easier.
Conclusions
There are many words to describe this device, some are positive, some are negative, but none of them can matters really except this: UNIQUE. Based on a research i made (you can do it by yourself using Google), this, together with the predecessor K10000, is the only smartphone ever released with a 10000mAh battery.
Of course this isn't a device for everyone, you need to deal with the weight and the thickness, but if you choose to go for something like this, i am pretty sure you know what you are going to get.
In my opinion, compared to the K10000, lots of upgrades have been made to the device, with a better CPU/GPU, more RAM/ROM and a FHD screen. This is not a Camera Phone, but the Rear Camera sensor is reasonably decent, the hopefully it will be kept updated in the future with new Android Versions.
If with the next model OUKITEL chooses to introduce a Notification LED and a Compass/Gyroscope, i will be able to declare it a perfect smartphone.

I have a problem with the Oukitel K10000 Pro in France.
I have to change mobile operator to confirm my hypothesis. I went from the operator Free Mobile to Bouygues Telecom to do different and enormous test.
This telephony only works on 1800 MHz frequency. If you do not pick up a relay antenna with a frequency of 1800 MHz (LTE) then the phone does not work.
In big cities the mobile connects and disconnects each time it passes on an antenna relay 1800 Mhz or not. So more network the majority of the time and more network as soon as one leaves the big cities and that is not covered by the frequency 1800 Mhz. For information, this phone works very well in 4G (only the frequency 4G LTE works) 200 meters from my home. Covered by an antenna (and checked with Bouygues customer service)
Either it is false advertising, or there is a manufacturing defect because we find other cases on the net. Note that I am very satisfied with the old model K10000 that has been working properly for a year.
Very disappointed with this new model which nevertheless displays the same network characteristics.

Unfortunately no.

Looks promising. For those who don't need 4G, it's a good alternative to the Leagoo M8, which has ROM quirks, Android 6.0 and a smaller battery.

Introduction
This is the UHANS A6.
Hardware
The device is powered by a Mediatek MT6580 SOC clocked at 1.30GHz, a bit outdated and slower compared to the MT6737, together with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM, and a 5.5 inches HD screen. It can be considered as an A101s big brother, with a much larger battery and a Metal Body. (together with other improvements)
Unboxing
Packaging comes with basic accessories: 1x Micro-USB Cable, 1x 5V/1A USB Charger, 1x Quick Start Guide, 1x Glass Screen Protector with wipes and the Smartphone (of course). A TPU Cover is included too.
Talking about the dimensions, the device isn't the smallest ever made by UHANS, but with its huge internal battery, this was expected, and it is not too thick either. 15.4x7.76x1.05cm, with decent bezels, and weights 204g.
The device feels pretty solid, with the usual great design from UHANS and an amazing back cover almost identical to the one found on the OnePlus One. It isn't the best material for grip though, but i love it. I would like to see the same back cover texture on other devices too.
On the front side there is the usual 2.5D Curved Display and the upper front side of the device features the Front-Facing Camera, an Earpiece, and the Sensors hole that includes Light, Proximity and Gesture Sensors. Unfortunately there isn't any Notification LED.
On the lower front side there is the classic soft-keys zone, with Recents, Home and Back buttons.
On the back side there is the removable back cover, and the battery is removable. The upper rear side of the device features the Camera Sensor supported by a Single-LED Flashlight, with the Fingerprint Sensor below the Camera Sensor.
On the lower rear side there is the UHANS logo with nothing else because the Speaker is located on the bottom.
Device
Screen
The screen is OK, unfortunately due to the HD-only res the pixel density is low thus you may notice some pixels. Its quality is good though, with an overall balanced color accuracy and white balance.
The Light Sensor supports partial light changes, with a sufficient auto-brightness management. This is its maximum brightness.
Viewing Angles matches IPS screen capabilities, nothing to complain about.
Camera
Being the first device i ever test with this Samsung 8MP camera sensor, i must say that the results are impressive. OK, the noise level is high and low-light shots are just awful, but the color accuracy and image detail (without zooming) is great considering the price target. I guess with some OTA updates this can get even better.
As regards the HDR mode, it works decently well but sometimes it adds a blue-tint to the image.
The Single-LED Flashlight is powerful, nothing to complain about.
As regards Video Recording, 1080p videos are recorded at 25fps, with the same noise level i mentioned before and so on.
Unexpectedly, also the Front Facing camera (GalaxyCore 5MP) is decent for random shots and video-chat, just do not expect superb quality.
Audio
Speaker is decent, produces a nice balanced sound, and is loud enough. It lacks low frequencies as always.
In-Call Quality is decent, no complains about it. Everyone was able to hear me perfectly and Microphone Quality seems to be ok.
GPS
GPS quality is mediocre, with a sufficient amount of satellites locked outdoors and almost inexistent signal indoors.

Telephony, Mobile Network & WiFi
This device doesn't support 4G networks, so you have to use your old 3G HSPA+ (42MBps max) connection to use your Mobile Data plan.
Signal Reception is accurate, but 3G coverage is just perfect here where i live so that's something i would have expected. Just like what happens with other devices, 3G Network Speed is low, thanks to my crappy Mobile Network that has lower than average 3G performance.
WiFi 5GHz isn't supported here. With my 2.4GHz network, i was able to reach ~35mbps, connected at 65mbps, not the best result, neither the worst.
Battery Life
As always, i measure the real battery capacity using my USB Tester, and it seems that the real battery capacity is way higher than the declared value (declared 4150mAh, real ~4620mAh).
Luckily, PCMark run just fine on this device even though it is running Android Nougat. Other Mediatek Devices with Nougat (and also some with Marshmallow) caused the Benchmark to stop by itself after some hours. The result is not superb considering the huge battery inside. an OTA update might be required to adjust the power management.
As regards battery charging times, the 5V/1A charger takes a long while to charge the device completely as expected.
Software
Following the A101s little brother, also this one comes with an almost completely clean Android OS, and most important, based on Nougat 7.0. There is no bloatware pre-installed, and security patches are dated 5th of May 2017.
All Mediatek features are still there such as Gestures, Scheduled Power On/Off, etc…
No Malwares Detected using MalwareBytes Anti-Malware.
The Fingerprint Scanner is sufficiently. I managed to unlock the screen almost everytime (8 out of 10). As regards the unlock speed, it is almost instant.
The device feels smooth enough for almost every task, i am still impressed to see an MT6580 device running Nougat without any major issue.​

Benchmarks
I have used 3DMark, AndroBench, Antutu Benchmark, Epic Citadel, GeekBench 4, GFXBench, PCMark (Work 2.0, Computer Vision, Storage & Work 1.0) and Vellamo to stress the device to the limit. I won’t test Games or Video Playback because there are already some related tests included in these Benchmark suites.
3DMark – GPU Performance is decent, this is a low-end device with an old Mali-400 GPU so we can't expect something better.
AndroBench – eMMC Performance is maxed out for the SOC capabilities.
Antutu Benchmark – I won’t say a lot about this benchmark, this isn’t as reliable as others. I’m providing this just for benchmarks lovers.
Epic Citadel – Based on this result, OpenGL 2.0 Games should run pretty smooth here.
GeekBench – CPU Performance is a bit low, there are 4x Cortex-A7 CPUs here that can't provide much computational performance. Sufficient for basic daily tasks.

Conclusions
The A101s big brother...can it really be such? Yes, absolutely. With a bigger screen, bigger battery and overall better hardware, this A6 is, with no doubts, an improvement compared to its little brother. Of course this doesn't mean that the device is perfect, but compared to the A101s, it is way better.
If UHANS keeps supporting the device with software updates keeping Android Security Patches updated and, why not, improving the device update by update, it can be considered one of the best low-end devices. I recommend it to those who are not in search for a 4G device, neither in search for superb performance, just the essential.

Great review. As I expected, this is a great all-round budget phablet for the money. Good to hear the build quality, camera and fingerprint scanner are decent too - something I thought they would skimp on. Sort of thing I would happily give to a friend or family member who doesn't need much but shouldn't need to pay iPhone prices for.
On the other hand, has anyone found a working TWRP recovery for this device? I did a little googling but came up short. Would a recovery for a similar MTK6580 device potentially work?

Finally got my hands on one of these - seems like a great device for the money. Is anyone able to comment on TWRP? There are a number of devices using a MTK6580 that have TWRP already, would it be possible to use TWRP from another one of these devices or is some porting required to avoid issues?

Review (part 1)
Introduction
This is the CUBOT Magic.
Hardware
Copying the name and design from the Honor Magic, this CUBOT Magic could be considered its cheap clone. Powered by a Mediatek MT6737 CPU with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM, it is clear CUBOT only wanted to get the same design, and not the same performance.
Unboxing
Packaging is for the first time different than all previous CUBOT devices, and comes with some accessories: 1x Micro-USB Cable, 1x 5V/1A Charger, 1x Quick Start Guide, 1x TPU Cover (no more shock-proof unlike previous CUBOTs), and the Smartphone (of course). Somehow they are not including any screen protector in the box.
The chassis is amazing in my opinion, even though it isn't made of metal. They managed to make it as curved as a piece of soap, and i am not kidding. It literally slips if not used with the TPU cover. There is also something negative though, it is a fingerprint magnet. The oleophobic treatment is completely absent.
It is 14.64x7.09x1.00cm, pretty compact but a bit thick considering the battery size, and it weights 165g, i think it should have been slighly lighter for the same reason written before.
On the front side there is the super-curved screen (more than the usual 2.5D) and the upper front side of the device features a Front-Facing Camera supported by a Single-LED Flashlight, an Earpiece, and the Sensors hole that includes Light, Proximity and Gesture Sensors. A Notification LED is here, but it only supports one color: Blue.

As regards the lower front side there is the soft-keys touch area with Recents, Home and Back keys.
On the back side there is removable back cover that hides the removable battery and all slots.
The upper rear side of the device features the Dual Camera Sensor supported by a Dual-LED - Single-Tone Flashlight, and the CUBOT logo slightly below.
On the lower rear side, excluding the usual certifications and model name, there isn't anything at all because the Speaker is positioned on the lower side of the device.

Screen
Another really positive thing about this device is the screen. It is bright, super-sharp and with an excellent color accuracy with no banding, probably one of the best 5 inches screen i have ever found on a smartphone.
Its light sensor supports smooth light changes with a maximum brightness of ~500lux.
Viewing Angles are as good as you would expect from a good IPS screen, but the more-than-usual curved screen reduces slighly the viewing angles on the sides.
Camera
Of course not everything can be excellent on a device, and this is where it lacks some points. First of all, it is important to say that, even though this device has an MT6737 (not T), the Dual Camera implementation is REAL. The device handles two cameras properly, and both back cameras are recognized.
The software though is still the same as on all dual camera mediatek devices, with the only difference that if you cover one of the back camera sensors, it automatically switches camera between the left or the right one.
Photos look detailed and with some noise pretty noticeable, i would say average quality for the price target.
The Flashlight is powerful, synced with the shot, but as you can notice macros are insufficient.
Here you can see some shots taken using the Bokeh mode that SHOULD be using both cameras in the same time.
As regards Video Recording, with the quality set on "Fine", videos are recorded at 720p30 with a pretty stable frame-rate.
The front-facing camera is decent, usable for video-calls or such, just do not expect super-detailed photos even though there is a Flashlight supporting the shot.
Audio
Just like on most CUBOT devices, the speaker is sufficient, with the usual lack of low-frequencies and average volume. The earpiece though is a completely different story, it is just perfect, with no lack of frequencies at all and a pretty high volume.
As regards the Microphone, it works decently well in any case (in-call, VOIP, etc...), nothing to complain about.
GPS
GPS Quality is average, as good/bad as most MT6737 devices, it might be improved with future OTA updates.

Telephony, Mobile Network & WiFi
Providing full european bands support (with 4G Band 20), the device was able to keep a stable connection to my 4G Network, but the speed, somehow, seems to be capped. This is something that should be improved with an OTA Update as soon as possible.
Thankfully the WiFi hardware is noticeably better, even though only 2.4GHz networks are supported, i was able to reach almost ~46Mbps, a pretty rare result for MTK hardware. Impressive.
Battery Life
Battery Capacity seems to be slightly higher than declared, common on CUBOT devices (i will never forget the CUBOT Dinosaur, check my review if you want to see something unbelieable). Declared 2600mAh vs Real ~2850mAh.
The PCMark Battery Test provided a barely sufficient result for a battery with this capacity, i guess this can be improved with future OTA updates. (Lowest brightness, WiFi on, Airplane Mode off, Sync on)
As regards battery charging times, due to limited 5V/1A charger, it isn't possible to charge the device completely in less than 2 hours and 45 minutes more or less. It is limited by software so do not expect faster charging times with a more powerful charger.
Software
Running on Android 7.0 Nougat with latest July 2017 security patches, and most important, with no bloatware preinstalled, the device runs with no issues at all, even though the CPU isn't that powerful. But...the secret was easy to find. In order to avoid the well-known MT6737 performance limitations, they choose to compile the OS with no 64-bit support, meaning that there is less load on the CPU and less RAM usage. The result is just perfect.
All Mediatek Features such as MiraVision, Gestures (somehow in Spanish ), and other features are present.
As expected, there is no Magnetometer/Compass and Gyroscope.
No malwares detected with Malware-Bytes Anti-Malware using latest definitions.

Review (part 2)
Benchmarks

Epic Citadel – Reaching almost 30fps, 3D performance is barely sufficient for smooth gaming.
GeekBench – 4x Cortex-A53 CPU Cores clocked at 1.25GHz, can't be any better.

Vellamo – This is where you can notice that you are dealing with a low-end SOC.
Conclusions
CUBOT Magic...even though i don't like to see any brand copying a device's design, i have to say that they managed to do a great job with this one. Its design together with the touch-and-feel (i hope this is the right way to say it), does not make it look like a cheap low-end MT6737 device.
Overall the device is good, with enough performance to handle most daily tasks, easy to carry thanks to the compact size and with an in-call quality rare to find on a chinese device. It isn't perfect though, just like all devices, since you have to forget about macro photos and high-speed 4G connection (hopefully fixable with an OTA update).
So, do i recommend it? Unless you can find something more appealing for the same price, yes.

You don't need to unlock the bootloader, but you need TWRP in order to root it, something that isn't available yet.

Did you maybe have Cubot R9?
I dunno to buy R9 or Magic. So Magic has 7h SOT?
I read that R9 had 4h of SOT but it looks like with same battery.

Battery request
Thank you for this extensive review. I wish I understood the importance of most of the details but some things are meaningful for me and I have ordered this model online. While waiting for my phone I'd like to know which manufacturers sells batteries for this model - I prefer a real battery to some item that needs attaching and holding if the fitted battery is too low/empty. And is it possible to use this model with more powerful batteries - I'd like a little more time from a charge. Thanks again, I feel confident to be getting a no-nonsense reliable phone to enjoy.
