[Q] How to Root Sony Xperia SL android JB. 4.1.2

Hi guys!! i have been trying to root my Xperia SL, Guyz note its SL... android version 4.1.2.. I had rooted before when it was having android 4.0.4 but now when Sony officially release 4.1.2 then my root was gone.. since then i have been trying to root, but i have gain no success. Can anyone help me with rooting my SONY XPERIA SL...

my english is so bad,sorry. website have a lot root method.such as dooMLoRD Easy Rooting Toolkit v16(it can be used to unlock& lock,but you must But you have to see the supported models and version number does not meet your compliance.(The latest version can be used basically)
Or flash kernel with Recovery,then flash the root package.(phone must be unlocked).
This is what I copied a paragraph:
this WILL WORK on both LOCKED & UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER DEVICES!
beginning from v13 now you only need to be on the corresponding firmware! any customization SHOULD work

Notice: you mus installed driver before root!

Bro i tried it, but with My sony Xperia SL JB 4.1.2 build 6.2.B.0.200, its not working its only working for 6.2.B.0.211, it gave me the error for not supported... how can i upgrade to 6.2.B.0.211 either root the same.....

Download Flashtool and then Xperia S [LT26i]_6.2.B.0.211_World Generic.ftf and flash the ROM.

dude... i dont want to remove my Factory ROM... if i did that my xperia SL will be S.... and processor 1.7 GHz to 1.5GHz.... i dont want to loose it... if there is ROM for SL which will not harm my processor then i will flash it...can you guyz help me with that.... still it will be better if i just could only ROOT my xperia SL.... Thanks for all these support....

i tried this method mentioned above - and it worked for my xperia s. the bootloader was unlocked before.

I'm looking for to root z1 compact without touch bootloader to preserve stock rom with bravia engine and camera features, just to install some apps that need root permission (firewall, LBE or xprivacy).

Hi,
Am quite new to the sony xperia device and if this is the wrong place to post this question, kindly ignore..
I have a Sony Xperia z1 Compact (D5503) device running 14.3.A.0.757 (latest sony update using PC Companion). This device has not been unlocked and has not been rooted at all.
My question - is there any way to root this phone at the current level i.e. 14.3.A.0.757 (with or without downgrading) without unlocking the bootloader?

If your BL is locked then you'll need to downgrade using the guide in the general section.

Recovery for T3

Hi dev's
Can any one compile recovery for T3, as this devices is been listed for bootloader unlock.
Iam on the latest version on
Xperia T3 D5102 (Indian) Rooted Stock Rom with deodexed
build version 18.2.A.1.18
So requesting Dev's to compile recovery for the device thanks in advance.
also I have made few mods & using it.

im waiting for that too bootloader unlocked, build .21 offcourse root'ed... will be great to get recovery

How to deodex sir?

I don't if it could work,but what about trying flashing recovery from the one they use in T2 Ultra (same spec,only display is 0.7" larger then T3)

I have compiled Philz recovery with stock kernel & will be releasing it. we had some problems with wifi & we have fixed it.
will be released soon

There is no twrp or ClockworkMod Recovery for Xperia T3 d5103, I need recovery to root the new firmware 18.1.A.2.25 Android 4.4.4 KitKat, is there any? or any other way to root firmware 18.1.A.2.25 Android 4.4.4?

Hi guys, I have a C6502 but unfortunately with locked bootloader (Bootloader Unlockable: No in *#*#7378423#*#*)
Is there any way to put Marshmallow 6.0.1 ROM on locked bootloader Xperia ZL?
If its not possible could anyone recommend what is currently the most stable/least bugs daily driver ROM for locked bootloader Xperia ZL?
