Replaced my moto360 battery and random shut off is gone completely ;) - Moto 360

Starting in March this year, my moto360 randomly shutoff by itself regarding the battery % or temperature or watch face, I thought resetting the watch would solve the problem and it doesn't. Wearing for 4 months and had enough so I check this forum, seems like many people had this similar problem. It was suggested to replace the battery, then I spotted my watch back cover opens like clams so it must be swelling battery! Also the battery was swelling so bad, the screen turned yellowish and bluish.
Many people would buy replacement battery on amazon or ebay around $15. I live in Asia, definitely source from the Greater China, I shipped my watch to a vendor on taobao (like chinese ebay) paid $13 to have it installed and shipped, battery alone costs about $9 in China.
:good: With my facer installed and IWC facewatch, my watch is new like again and screen is back to normal. My advice, turn off the watch at night and don't put it on cradle unless the battery is out, this should keep the battery healthy.
If you have Taobao, try contact this guy

Cameron Sino Extended Battery - Review

Thought I would write a quick review of the extended battery I just bought.
Background
I was rather unhappy with my original battery as were most people! It only lasted me a day and as my job requires me to be out and about a lot, plus to call people often, I thought something more robust would be better. My solution = The Cameron Sino 2600mAH Battery!
Initial Impressions
The battery is twice the size of stock. The battery cover did not close on my phone. Total size isnt too bad. It nearly doubles the phone thickness, but when I come onto the testing section later this is a worthwhile sacrifice.
Cover Fit
The cover didnt fit so I decided to buy a 32gb micro sd card (which works fine), and to super glue the cover on. I figured that using a scalpel I could remove the back (I tested and it works fine) if ever required. Hopefully I wont need to access it ever, or until I upgrade in 18 months and decide to sell it.
Performance
After charging to 100%, running down to 0% 3 times, I have now had the phone on for 5 days and it's current charge level is 10%. As you can see this is awesome. My settings:
Helix Launcher
Wifi On about an hour a day
Light phone calls (around 5 hours)
Light texting - 20 odd a day
3g Off
GPS off
I imagine in real life conditions 3 days moderate use would be obtainable.
Conclusion
Overall I am very very happy with this battery. It really brings this phone into the "worthwhile for daily use" category (it should have been here originally ofcourse). Hopefully will be able to use the standard UI rather than Helix when 2.1 comes out. Damn app power leaks.
Rating: 4/5 (Battery door a poor fit)
Edit: Forgot to mention at £16.99 delivered (amazon.co.uk), you can hardly go wrong!!!
Could you post a pic of your phone now please?
Unfortunately my only camera is my phone...... sorry. Maybe someone else can!?
Wow! I assume you like your phone carrier since it is difficult now to remove the sim card.
Well my carrier (Three) used to be terrible. However they appear to have upgraded their cell towers and I now have full signal most places that my friends dont! So yeah I like my carrier!
Why dont you buy the extra thick covers that are all over ebay so that you dont have to glue anything?
Edit: My bad they arent on ebay, but there is a thread in the accessories forum, I'm sure of it.
theres a couple of posts and reviews in a thread on here already and myself and several others paid just £12.99 free postage from ebay
Yeah I rarely buy off ebay - had a lot of problems with sellers before (might just be my luck ). I saw the other reviews, and just wanted to do my own hehe.
any chance to get a pic of your phone? how it looks with the glued cover?
If i ma not wrong, that battery comes with a cover for X10 right? Are u saying that that cover that they provide does not fit properly?
Mine fits properly. You just have to force the sides of the cover into place and thats it. Battery life is much better than the oem one and has a very noticeable difference.
ordered one from http://www.megacapacity.com/26985.html . Lets see how it goes
Just updating this thread for potential cameron sino battery buyers. I got the package 4 days ago. I removed my stock battery, popped this battery in, used the back cover that was provided by them. The phone became almost twice the depth thanx to the battery.
Then the issues started. Even though the green light used to come on when connected to the mains, the phone never used to start. Initially i thought the charge is low, so left it overnight, but then the next morning i saw tht I still had the same issue. After fidgeting with it for sometime, i noticed that there is a 1(or 0.5) mm gap between the battery and contacts because of which the x10 did not start. I used a thin plastic sheet(amost like a sheet of paper) to hold the battery up against the contact and it worked fine. Right now the problem is that if i shake the phone a bit vigorously, it gets disconnected because of the shorter battery.
But i want to see how the battery lasts so am using it for now. It all boils down to the time i have to wait till next charge. If it really gives around 70% more time (as claimed by many in other forums) i will use it despite the bulkiness and the smaller battery issues. Thanx for reading!!!
so this comes with a case as well for £12.99?

Thanks for this info! I was having the same issue with this battery. I thought I was having a driver issue for extended batteries but after reading your post, I confirmed that it wasnt the case. Fixed the problem but with a different approach.
What I did was I soldered a small amount of lead onto the contacts on the battery (careful enough not to short the contacts) so that it would give better contact on pins of the x10.. I know the process seems a little bit drastic but it works! I can't make the phone shutdown even when I shook the hell out of this phone.

Reliable battery replacement?

Has anyone found a reliable battery replacement? I haven't been able to find an authentic Samsung T8220e battery.. and the third party ones I've tried won't put out enough current (if I turn the brightness up, the tablet immediately shuts off). All the listings I've found so far on Amazon are 3rd party junk batteries.
I just bought a used p600 with a piece of junk Marval Power battery that only charged to 60%. I replaced it with a used OEM battery (at the time, there was only one shop on eBay selling used batteries) and it's working fine. I haven't used any apps to measure battery health yet, but it seems to be performing pretty equally to the three other p600s I've had over the last few years. It's probably up to luck, too (based on the condition of the tablet that the used battery was pulled from).
Hope this helps!
I just ordered a battery from mister-phone on eBay, instead of the pos replacement battery I have been using for a week, I hope the new one is original as advertised
please let us know how the mister phone battery works out. i have to get another battery after actually having some good luck for a while on an ebay purchase. but one side is swollen again and the battery is all over the place. thanks
So far it seems to be the real deal, it have the same markings and shape on the frame as the original, I'm still testing it, and it's way better than the cheap one.
I bought this one on amazon, and it appears to be working. My stress test is to play a game on full screen brightness and it instantly dies with the other lousy batteries. So far, so good... but it's oos. I would recommend buying a battery on amzon though for the easy returns if it doesn't work. Also, a kit with a decent spudger. I bought this one on Amazon that has a pretty good metal one with a decent selection of mini drivers.
I ended up buying one. Battery seems to work well except I can't get it to charge passed 80 or so no matter how long I leave it plugged in for. Other than that it works well. Restarts don't do anything. Anyone e have any ideas to reset the stats or something. I am at a loss. Thanks.
Stock or custom rom?
It's been a while since you posted this, but I just recently had to replace the battery in my SM-P600 when the original battery started puffing up. The only symptom was that home button was jiggly and loose, and I thought that the housing for that button was broken or something, and was looking into replacing the parts associated with that button when I pressed on the casing on either side of the button and everything clicked back into place and the button worked properly. I then noticed the screen was slightly bulging int he middle and realized it was the battery expanding.
Anyway, the assortment still available on Amazon has pretty bad reviews, so I gambled on a new listing that didn't have any reviews except the seller has been around for a while and is reviewed very well. Received the battery, replaced it, it took a while to charge up, but it holds a charge well and stress tests (full brightness with a taxing game) fine as well. I'm happy with it. Keeps my tablet alive for a little while longer (even though I don't use it much anymore since I got my 15" Chromebook that converts into a tablet).

Incidentally, I also bought the same toolkit you mentioned and it's a really good one. I've used it disassemble four different devices now and it's worked well. Good toolkit for the price.

Replacement display and battery recommendations

I've been using the OnePlus One for three years now. And it still works just fine. But my display is kinda damaged, has screen burn issues that developed recently.
Also the battery life dropped from being at 7 hours or so to 3-3.5 hours. So that's a minus.
Gonna change both the battery and display. Would like some recommendations. '-'

Display is about 30€ in chinese shops. The biggest problem I think it's the battery replacement. I've bought one but the mah is not like the original cause, by what I've read, Oneplus doesn't produce it anymore and you can find old batteries in the shops. I've bought other three batteries of different brands, I'm waiting for them. However there is a tweak to modify a ZTE Blade x3 battery for the Oneplus One.

Can you link me to a good quality display that you might know of? I live in Bangladesh, so Asia/Chinese shops are okay for me!
And as for battery, I've found a local store which sells the battery. They say it's "Good quality" but not original. Not sure about the mAh. Will look into that later.
I'd like a recommendation for a screen replacement as well. There are a lot of displays on AliExpress for less than 20$ , do you think can't of these are good?

What tweak do you mean? Bought 3 different batteries and all were worse than original...
for battery problem I think the best way to go to service centre because all of the batterys available online isnt genuine so perfomance from that is more lesser than your 3yrs old battery!i just recently visited service centre with my oneplus one and replacing the battery,i dont know what will be the outcome,i will keep posted once got device with new battery handson!
I tested 3 different Oneplus one display replacements from Aliexpress, all of the prices are more or less same (around 25-30USD) but the quality is so different.
Grade C: Awful display (so pale and dark) and awful very thin touch panel and fragile flex cable)
Grade B: Good quality display but awful very thin touch panel, fragile flex cable (same as C)
Grade A: Good quality display and very thick strong touch panel and durable flex cable. Frankly unless you compare this with the original one side by side, probably you cannot tell difference a lot. ( I have two OPOs! )
I cannot add a link yet as a new XDA user, but I bought this “Grade A” Oneplus One screen replacement from "raugee Official Store" at Aliexpress.
"Oneplus One LCD Display+Touch Screen With Frame Test Good Digitizer Glass Panel Accessory Replacement For One plus One 64/16GB" Without Frame $27.99. With Frame $37.99 4.9 rating, nearly 250 orders. I bought this display without Frame.
I have got a replace "OEM" battery from ReplaceBase (UK) recently So far, it is a great quality but as an UK based shop, it would be suitable for European users.
Hope it helps. Good Luck.
I recommend buying the display as a standalone (without frame) and attaching the frame yourself.
Displays with frame pre-attached tend to be lower quality than if you just buy the display.
Hi..
I think there is no original display or battery. This phone almost few years ago and the new one is 6th gen of oneplus (one plus 6 i mean).
But i have an experienced about this case. Both, battery and display. I had replacement both. Buy from local online shop, and yup..the battery size smaller than original. Customer feedback always says 15% battery auto shutdown. And when it charge, shows 15% and up.
But i have a solution, and it works fine until now. I dont guarantee it works on other device but it works on my oneplus one.
After replacement battery, use it until force shut down. Try to power up until it shut down. Charge untill 100% with power off,and disconnect the charger. Turn on your phone and battery will says 99%. Charge it until 100% and shut down the phone. Disconnect charger and charge again until 100%. Do it over and over again until it says 100% when you turn on the phone without charger connected.
I try it 5 times and the 6th tried,i turn on the phone and battery shows 100%. It works fine 5-6 hours with daily usage.
Battery wont automatically shut down when 15%,but in 10%. I tried that method again (fyuuh..) and and the result battery shows 5% and shut down automatically.
I always tried use this method when my phone automatically shutdown. I never turn off my phone when it says under 10%.
And today my phone works fine, until the battery shows 1% and it still alive... (Woooow...).
I dont have any theory about my method, but i think i must calibrate the battery sensor because OEM battery dont have good sensor same as original. It looks stupid but it works on my phone,so?? Try it..
Oh... This battery sale almost $8 in my local online shop. Seller said this is original battery... Is it possible original part sale in $8?? In my country, oneplus doesnt have a legal store. All product use distributor to sale in my country.
Yeah, its a long story about the battery. And now i have a story about the LCD. Yup... I bought the lcd in local online shop only $20 ( again) and blablablabla (teardown method using youtube for the tutorial) and the big difference is backside of the lcd. The original one there is cooper sticker in right and left the lcd and the OEM doesnt have. OEM LCD connector loger than original one and the size is smaller.
Skip... And turn on the phone..... Yup....
Lcd color more "bluish" i mean the color more blue than original one. And the brightness is the biggest problem. Full brightness on OEM LCD as same as half brightness on original one (compared with my friends OPO)
Touch and blablabla works fine, but the brightness still annoying. When you slide the brightness to left, you cant see anything.... yeah....anything..... Too dark.
And now i order the new one from china store (aliexpress) and it takes 2 weeks until arrived in my country. $30 from china store and i hope it better than the local one.
I will give a report as soon as possible when it arrived. And give a storytale again in this thread...hahahahahaha.
Sorry for my english,

Original Huawei Watch charging problem

For the last month or so my three year old Huawei Watch has been either charging very slowly or stays at the same percentage forever. Instead of the charging screen staying on, it flashes between the charging screen and the watchface every second or so. The same behavior happens on both the stock and an aftermarket charger. I have cleaned and verified that the charging contacts on both chargers and the watch are free of corrosion and not cratered.
Before I order a replacement battery, is there anything else that might be causing this or is this the classic symptom of needing a new battery?
I ordered a new OEM battery from eBay and installed it today. The original three year old battery was very swollen, which was probably pressing on the circuit boards and causing my intermittent charging problems. The installation was pretty straightford and the new battery charged up nicely, so I would recommend anyone with a watch as old as mine to go ahead and replace the battery.
Same issue here, can you please provide me the link where you purchased the replacement battery? Also did you replace it yourself or went to a shop.

I got the battery from eBay. Search for the part number HB442528EBC and be sure to pick one that says new and OEM. I replaced it myself by watching this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-JpmRF2AfM and this iFixit page: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Huawei+Watch+Jewel+Battery+Replacement/86785
I didn't have a T2 Torx bit or a #0 Phillips bit so I ordered a small tool kit with those from eBay at the same time.

Lehehe brand replacement battery, 1 year review

I bought the battery branded as "Lehehe" from AliExpress as users on this forum suggested.
It came in a kit with tools, glue, a foldable phone stand and a charging cable. The cable is of low quality, it only works in one way and it doesn't work on all devices. But it charges the Zuk rapidly and it was free so that's ok.
I installed the battery on November 4th 2019. It worked well, it gave the phone another year of life. Sadly though, after one year of use it started to get thicker and thicker. I got to the point where I had to remove the back glass while waiting for the replacement, then it started having current issues. The vibration was weak, then the phone started to die when I tried to take a picture or open a video game.
It's now completely dead, I'm unable to turn on the phone even when it's charging.
For 10$ I can't really complain, it was fun while it lasted.
