Is there any alternative of GravityBox (MM) for stock 6.0? GravityBox eats much battery juice on my ze550ml. SuperPOxy seems not working...
And btw, why GravityBox eats much battery? I noticed the drainage when GravityBox is enabled and when it is not. When it's enabled, the drainge is faster (on EVERY rom)

Download this official rom http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=FW157986573210987654321/E980H10A_01.kdz
Note its Jelly bean and will convert your E980 to a E980H, i dont think that makes any differences personally
so i used this guide and flashed it http://lg.storagecow.eu/?page_id=12
tweaks i did and highly recommended.
1. Root using universal root http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2362657
2. use Titanium backup to remove/freeze unwanted apps
3. Use greenify to force sleep apps that cause wakelocks ( Greenify is free app in the market)
4. Use Xposed + Gravity box to tweak looks + add data traffic counter and double tap to sleep
5. Enabled eco mode for Quad core ( in settings )
I am seeing battery life thats just amazing , 1 % battery loss overnight while asleep , this is my goto rom until official KK is out
Plus max internal storage available, free ram is about 800-900 mb on boot , that could be bettered, but im quite happy overall
This gave me far better performance and battery life as compared to the KK leaks out there, and oh yea no bugs like the speakerphone not working Ive posted in General as this isnt a custom rom per se, just the official unbranded with my tweaks.
Hey guys ..hii...I'm gonna show u how to get battery life from your device ..I personally suggest u to use this method coz it worked for me ...the process Is found in #post2
For that u need to install xposed (don't ask what is xposed!if u don't know that just don't try this ) [email protected] and greenify(xposed module /app) [email protected] oasisfeng ,amplify and powernap( become a beta tester on g+ community and download), but hope it works fine just install/flash and check the stats using BBS ( install it as a system app and proceed )
And amplify (will control wakelocks that drain the battery ...works on xposed[emoji14]And in MM based ROMs there is a feature called aggressive doze in greenify so better backup for MM ROMs ....(but our device won't support due to lack of significant motion sensor ) U can do that in greenify ..tap right corner three dot bar and select settings ...u can find there .....and works on any kk/lp/MM ROMs...tested and got around 1% battery drain (me)overnight Hit thanks if helped:thumbup:
Use wakelock detector and amplify to control wake locks and see which apps causing much and greenify it

Hello it seems to me that after I installed latest xposed fr. with gravitybox in my stock android 6 - my device became little more powe hungry than before... Do you think it could be true?
From my experience with many marshmallow roms that I tested recently, stock beats them all with ease (comparing battery) - NOT KIDDING! Even simple CM13 cant get along. How is it possible, are all devs blind? Or is it a compromise to all these feauteres (Nah! I dont use) ?
As for gravitybox, it works fluently and nicely... To tell the truth I really love it...:good:
With the xposed mods I am using battery life has been extroardinary on marshmallow. Gravity box should have minimal influence on the battery, if any. If you want exemplary battery life, follow the extreme battery life thread. Also use the basic battery saving mode that was introduced in lollipop
It really is so! After some time I can see that battery is just as it used to be when I installed clean stock 6. Also I started to use battery saver mode (original one), added a custom francos kernel and tweaked cpu maximum from 1512 to 1350Mhz and did some little undervolting (25mV offset). Devices speed is as usual, very fast and responsive. Also i added a parrotmode for better screen calibration for touches.
Am I missing something for a better battery?
Hey all,
currently using a OxygenOS Based stock ROM, without Xposed. Before that I was on "pure" OxygenOS (3.2.1 full OTA with root and xposed), had the feeling the drain was pretty high, but some guys also said they have a high drain with 3.2.1 (without xposed), so..the main question is: Will xposed drain more battery or does it depends on the modules which are installed?
Thanks.
Greetz
It depends on the modules.

I am running 3.2.0 with x posed and can't say it is draining battery. What xposed version are you running? Also share the modules you are using. These details will help someone who can give you some clarification.

Xposed with no modules installed drains NO battery, because it's not an app which is running anywhere or is consuming any RAM.
Modules which "do" something in the background of course consume battery; modules which just alter UI elements (like "App settings", "Flat style bar indicators", "NotifyClean" etc.) don't consume any battery.
Yes.

I used android N-Ify and no drain for me

Use greenify module with Xposed and you will get more battery than stock without Xposed

Xposed modules dont help to improve performance much but for battery i suggest Greenify (it also works without xposed but there are some extar options with xposed)
Amplify (greenify and amplify combination is the best)
Bootmanager
Gravity Box (I DID NOT USE IT ON LG BECAUSE I DIDNOT ROOT MY PHONE YET BUT USED IT ON SAMSUNG SO BE CAREFULL BUT I SUGGEST NOT TO USE IT AS YOU SAID THAT YOU ARE A NOOB)
Apart from these you can use also use:
One click video downloader and one click youtube extension.
Youtube background playback.
Virtual sensor
Flat style status bar icons
