Screen freezes after MM Update, Just Me ? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note5

On a stock MM AT&T Note 5 that was hassle free until MM dropped.
Keep getting a unresponsive screen a couple of times a day.
Am I being persecuted or had anyone else had the same issue? If so find a fix ?

I haven't had any issues.. Maybe try a factory reset? I've heard some people upgrading have had issues and factory reseting helps fix their problems

[Q]Anyone get lag/freezing when selecting to call a contact?

I have been getting this since day 1 with my stock gs2. I select to call and phone freezes for 10-15 seconds then eventually calls
Anyone else experience this?

Yes. I've just recently noticed it this past few weeks. I'm sure it wasn't doing it when I first got the phone. It is quite annoying. My phone is rooted and on its stock rom. I'd be happy to hear if anyone found a solution to this?
I'd like to add that it is random... it doesn't happen all of the time.

nope never seen it on mine
I'm recently getting this as well..it's Lee.c handcent does it occasionally too, but they're probably unrelated

Can someone else relate

Ok so I've had my white galaxy s II for about 3 days. Before I rooted the phone I was experiencing my phone randomly freezing up. I thought it was just a software issue but now that I have rooted it, I'm still experiencing the same issue, but its seems to be worse. I was wondering if anybody else was having this issue and if so how did you fix it.

Did anyone else get an update this morning?

Could this possibly be Jellybean? I'd prefer to use wi-fi to download it, just curious as to whether or not anyone else has an idea..
No update and probably it will be on Sam mobile by now, I didn't see it earlier so I doubt is jellybean

Before this gets way out of hand, what are you running now? ROM/Kernel (version numbers)
I just checked mine and I got nothing.
I have a feeling what the OP hasnt said yet is that he just bought the phone and is getting LH2 now while everyone else got it 5 weeks ago.

I've had the phone since release. I reverted back to stock (VALEM) about two weeks ago and this morning I received a notice for the update. I went home just now to check it out and yeah, it was (VALH2). I just found that odd that it took that long to get a notice. Apologies. I wasn't trying to stir anything up.
Could be an update to fix the reset hack problem

Momentary Screen Freeze - ATT Note 8.0

Just got the ATT Galaxy Note 8.0 and have a slight issue with the screen freezing momentarily
while trying to scroll.
About once an hour or so I will try to scroll the screen with my finger and it wont move.
Lifting my finger and placing it back on the screen will get scrolling again. This has happened 3-4 times in the
browser and market so far.
Device is not rooted.
Is this normal ?
I only got the device on 6-24-2013 so I can exchange it if I need to.
Thanks
Same here and I have the latest firmware as well.
Really annoying.

I have the wifi only version. I exchanged mine for a new one due to this issue. The new one does the same thing. Running newest firmware.

Same problem here.
Just have a moment patience and it will continue working properly.
Gives me the comforatble Windows feeling.
Same here. Hoping its something a software update will fix

Same Here
Glad to know I'm not the only one having this issue. I'm assuming it can be fixed with a software update.... at least I hope so
Same here, and yeah, glad to know this is a feature, not an issue
Same problem on the wi-fi model I just purchased. Also glad to know it's not just me lol.
+1, not that this does any good... For me, it doesn't even have to be scrolling. I could be on the launcher and this still happens.

My AT&T Note 8 does the same thing. Seems to be pretty universal issue.

Who knows how long it will take. That's if samsung even knows about the issue. Hope there will be an update soon because it is getting annoying.

I'm seeing this as well. AndI don't remember experiencing this before the update!
Edit: Never mind, I didn't realize there was another update. Maybe this update fixes the lag caused by the last one. Thanks for the tip!

Same for me. My version is the wifi version. I didn't have this problem until the latest firmware update. I started a thread a few days ago.
It is good to know that this is a pervasive issue. I hope it gets fixed quickly.

exchanged
I exchaged mine out just in case, new one still has the same issue.
Same problem here, although I resolved mine by taking a couple of news app widgets of a home screen. Was having a few redraw problems cured that as well
I assume it's issues with cloud agent or the s-pen detection.

I can definitely say that the new update did not make any difference. I hope that samsung will fix this problem soon.

Seems to be just the capacitive input that is freezing. When i use the s,pen it doesn't seem to freeze at all. I tried scrolling with my finger and as soon as it freezes switched to the pen and it worked ok so I think it's the capacitive part of the screen that has the problem.

That was my observation as well. Samsung said they would get my Note 8 back in a week. I'll be interested to see the problem crops up again.

Battery changing problem after OTA update to KK 4.4.2

Is anyone have this problem after update to KK? Normally it took only about 6 hours to get full charge. Now it took 8 hours I get only 60%. Any idea?
People are generally reporting the opposite. I wonder if it might take a factory reset to fix it.

Yeah I think I'm going to factory reset when I update as it seems to be the best way to ensure a flawless uldate or atleast a niggly free update (minus the bugs that exist in 4.4 ofcourse whatever they may be).
