Hey guys looking for a type c to micro USB convertor in india. Need one that supports OTG as well

Best bet would be to buy the xiaomi type c adaptor and have it sent to India.

What would that cost and where can i do that from

u can find it on http://www.aliexpress.com/ i bought the original oneplus adaptor for $8.99 (was equal to Rs. 550 at the time) and i just got it
and Xiaomi type c adaptor was for $3.99
Note : Takes a month to delivery

I have tested and tried otg feature works very well on oxygen OS and cm 12.1

It is available at Rs. 599 from Amazon
Little overpriced but is perfect. As per claims it don't support OTG, will test once received and update the thread.

Huawei USB Type C Adapter

Hi all.
I'm new here.
Just bought a brand new Huawei P9 Prestige Gold.
When unboxing, I found a Huawei USB Type C adapter comes as standard accessories, which is weird because I never found any unboxing video or review discussing about this.
Any of you guys have this when bought the phone?
Btw I'm from Malaysia (SEA).

Europe version also comes with this adapter. Ordered 3 of these adapters for 1$ from ebay.

i'm italian and i don't have this adapter

Got mine in the UK. Didn't come with the adaptor

Germany no adapter here. Ordered 3 x usb type c -> usb a cable.

My Huawei P9 (Australia Vodafone Carrier) didn't come with a USB Type-C to microusb adapter. I ended up buying one.
Also careful which model you talk about that gives these stuff because you'll just end up filling up this thread with mine did / mine did not.

Nope no adapter in my EVA-L19 (EU dualsim P9)

Did not receive one in UK when buying phone from Three (that was more than a year ago)
Ordered some on eBay as those are extremely cheap.

[Moshi Adapter/Charger ALTERNATIVE] USB-C adapter for charging with headphones on

Hi guys,
I've searched the Amazon websites and I found what I've been looking for. Bought it, tested it and I can confirm it's working! The phone is charging rapidly (as intended) and the headphones are working flawlessly. Check the attached images to see the end result. It's a little bulky but it does the trick.
What you need
1. Type C to HDMI/USB 3.0/USB 3.1 Type C 4 K Adapter - EUR 18.99 (link)
2. USB 3.1 Type C Adapter - EUR 7.99 (link)
3. Google's Audio adapter (for 3.5 mm plugs) - already in the box with your Pixel 2 XL
The quality of the sound is the same as if the Google's audio adapter is plugged directly into the phone.
The charging speed is the same as if you plug the charger directly.
Price comparison
Moshi Adapter/Charger - USD $44.95 which is about EUR 36
The two adapters from above cost a total of EUR 26 (without shipping, depending on your country).
If you're unable to buy the Moshi Adapter this is a good workaround.

Update :
Worked fine. Really not any more awkward than the Moshi. No crossover hum or static. The Aukey port extender CB-C59 I bought has two additional USB A ports on the back as well as both a micro SD card reader and regular SD card slot. Also an HDMI port. The Warmstor USB male A to C female adapter came in a two pack.
Total was $44 US.

For portable use, I think you can get a type-c extension cable to hide all those dongles. I've been thinking of doing something like this for use in my car.

I probably missunderstood something but why not use some of this ? A lot more comfortable then this big hdmi thing or not ?

I think it has no DAC.

It is my understanding that the "USB 3.1 Type C Adapter" you mention is non-standard and non-compliant with the USB-C specification. Maybe it works, but I think we should not promote those non-compliant widgets.
See this review of Benson Leung (a Google employee that performs technical reviews of USB-C products) for a similar product.

Most probably.
I just got one from Gearbest (for a 3 Euros...) and when I plugged it, my 2 XL said the accessory only provides analog audio.
Basically, useless.
You gotta make sure that the adapter comes with an integrated DAC, or it won't work on Pixel 2s. I learnt it the "hard" way

Thanks for the suggestion, i added a usb c extender coz after a bit of time the weight of the box is getting annoying..

just tried this out and bought similar stuff amazon in canada. Glad to report it worked didn't cost too much but in order to use it you need to first plug in a power source and turn on the battery bank if necessary first before plugging in to listen to music and you cant use the dongle alone without a power source

As per title, can anyone recommend a good quality usb a to type c adapter so that I can do data transfer between laptop and 9 pro? , as there's no tyoe c port on the laptop. Thanks

Yeah I picked up some cheap ones on Amazon that do the trick just fine. I don't remember, but does OnePlus provide a USB to usb-c dongle in the box like Google does for their pixel phones?

The one from the 8 pro is what I use and thankfully working since a couple others I tried didn't work.

I have usb type C on my laptop, but is for charging...
