Hi guys,
would someone with Android 7.0 final build be so kind and send me a TWRP backup of the vendor parition/bootloader/radio?
I built AOSP for the Nexus 5X, but it is no good without the according blobs, and factory images are not online yet
Thanks for your help!
Here's the OTA image with all those files you need:

And brick phones
Factory image works just fine, make sure you have the latest fastboot and adb, and give it time.
@petrus764 where to download the latest fastboot?
Thank you for your understanding.

I use minimal adb and fastboot which comes with version 1.0.35 rc and that works for me.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
Apparently there's a newer version too, 1.0.36 which you can get from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/general/tool-updated-adb-version-1-0-32-fastboot-t2932160
of course the latest is always available via the android sdk, but who can be bothered download all of that just for adb and fastboot.

Apologies if this is a repost, but I can't quite find the answer I'm looking for, so here's my issue.
- Nexus 7 2013 (Mobile) - 4.4.2
- Mac OS X Mavericks development laptop
- Followed instructions at source.android.com for downloading from master and building the OS
- From lunch, used aosp_deb-userdebug
- make / unlock / fastboot -w -p deb flashall
- Boom! Soft brick! Can't get past the Google splash screen.
I was able to use fastboot to reinstall the factory image -- razorg/KOT49H -- which relieved me greatly.
But I can't figure out what I might have done wrong. It seems pretty straightforward; but I know very little about kernels/recovery/etc.
I am normally just an app developer.
Currently, I am downloading the specific tag for 4.4.2 and going to try to build again, but I thought I'd poll the forum.
Thanks for any suggestions!
Hi, just guessing...you forgot about vendor specific files...?
Thanks for replying!
I noticed that the razorg stock ROM came with a radio img.
I did try to load my system img with the razorg bootloader and radio img, with no success.
if this is a Nexus 7, would I have vendor specific files? I thought the beauty of the Nexus was that you could
pull the source and it would just work :-\

ROM won't work without the proprietary binaries.
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/drivers
You need to download the correct files and then use them to extract the drivers from your device.

Thanks for the help! That was definitely it. Flashing worked fine after that.
I thought I read all the steps correctly...such a n00b.
Hey,
I already used the search but didn't find anything.. Has anybody a flashable stock recovery for the Nexus 7 2013 Wifi? I want to install the 4.4.3 Update but I can only flash it with the stock recovery.

You need to download the stock image from Google. You won't need recovery though. Just flash system with fastboot and you're done.

And my data will stay? Is it like I make an OTA update? I dont want to lose anything, just update the Version.

You will not lose if data if you extract the system image (system.img) from the archive, then run fastboot flash system system.img. This will replace only the system partition's contents, updating you to 4.4.3.
If you run flash-all.bat, you will lose your data.
If you don't have fastboot, download the 19.0.2 (API 19) link from my signature, it's in that package.

Did you also flash the 4.4.3 boot.img? It has a new kernel. (nandroid your present boot first, just to be safe though)

Repacked Stock ROM for SWR50 Version LWX48P
I made a twrp flashable stock ROM ZIP of the LWX48P version firmware. You can download it at SWR50-LWX48P-repacked-signed.zip. Don't flash it with the stock recovery, it is for twrp. The ZIP contains the unmodified files, this means it is NOT rooted, busyboxed or something else. Use it to go back to stock, if you mess up with your system. You can also use the Sony PC Companion to go back to stock.
It includes also the u-boot/bootloader partition images like and from the OTA. If you don't want to reflash them, feel free to modify the zip.
Use it on your own risk.
If you need the stock recovery, too, then you can download a dump of it at SWR50-LWX48P-stock-recovery.img. Flash it with fastboot.
How did you make this? I want to do a repacked ROM with the new 5.1 update.

I just wanted to say thanks for this post. My sw3 was stuck on the 4 dot symbols in MM booting. I tried several different ROMs and XC would not work either. Your pack worked and allowed my watch to live again. Although it is LP, that is fine. At least I can now use it.
Does this version support updates?
Thank you for the post!
Do you know maybe why this version can't get updates correctly? Seems like I get an update or two and then it stuck. Can I fix it somehow?
d-h.st isn't usable anymore. Can someone mirror the file to mega or dev host?
Thx in advance

Yes, I know. And it's installed on my watch since yesterday. But I would like to revert it to stock. Unfortunately Xperia companion isn't able to recover my watch to stock state. Companion already managed it to nearly kill my watch.

This is just an incremental update file. You need a unmodified system on the watch to apply this update.

Hello! I have LWX48P version on SW3. After I repacked that file by flash it with twrp (I did it and it went successfully) what should I do now to get the LWX49K version? I want the LCA43 version. Thank you

Hi,
Just try to update from Android menu (Settings->About->System Updates). Sometimes it takes several hours or a day to get the update, but it should happen.
Pay attention to stop updating after LCA43 - the update to MEC24H didn't work and I had to flash again the LWX48P.
I tried flash-all and it's not flashing a recovery. What's the special sauce for flashing the stock recovery image?
You could try fastboot. Install recovery that way. Should overwrite twrp

In a zip inside the zip. Boot.img
But I almost guarantee if you update to latest SDK Platform Tools thru android studio that flash-all will probably work..

Managed to get it back to stock with the Skipsoft toolkit. What is it that makes the toolkit different in the way it flashes the file versus the flash-all?

When I had my Nexus 6 I never used a toolkit. I'll probably never use one for my pixel either. The flash all is extremely efficient. I have heard people using toolkits before and them getting bricks because there bootloader locked and they couldn't unlock again and then they bootlooped. Edit: mostly because of Enable OEM Unlock button.
Hi,
I've installed Android O on my Nexus 5x right now.
Now I want to install The Pure Nexus Project, but I don't know if it's possible.
Do I get any problems with vendor images etc.? I only unlocked the bootloader now.
I hope you can help me (fast),

Is your bootloader all ready unlocked???
Yes, I unlocked my bootloader already.

Yes, as long as you flash the bootloader and the radio images from 7.1.2.
If the ROM provides vendor you only have to flash bootloader and radio images, if it doesn't then you'll need to flash the vendor too. Pure Nexus does not provide vendor so you'll have to flash that as well, and it's not provided by Pure Nexus either, it's the same vendor.img that you get from the 7.1.2 factory image that you'll have to download for bootloader and radio anyway.
Just do what I told you.

No worries, if I were you I'd just use the flash-all.bat (windows)/flash-all.sh (nice open operating systems) to ensure you get a clean slate, then fastboot flash TWRP and install Pure Nexus from that.
