Is there no way to access the UI tuner to select which quick settings are displayed?
Long hold one of them and it will bring up the menu to re-arrange/change them

This.
System UI Tuner is only available on stock Android devices - not ones with a custom skin like Touchwiz, Sense, or ugLGy

Can you change the apps, or order of the default apps - phone, contact, messages, apps in the main screen at the bottom?
My phones is rooted and running stock rom. Thanks for any input.

I am using stock. I just remembered that I can use ADW Launcher. I haven't used that app since the HTC HD2. When I switched the HTC sensation I used the stock launcher.
Yes u can just open up your drawer and press the menu button and click edit.it will ask u to switch to "customizable grid" hit switch and then u then can edit ur dock bar icons

Is there a way to hide the status bar/expanded desktop on a stock/tw ROM while still being able to see "Recent Apps"(long press home) and also "Expand Notifications"(through PIE chevron target).
On AOSP/AOKP, you can enable Expanded Desktop via Power Menu(long press Power button) and still be able to select Recent Apps and Expand Notifications no problem.
On stock/tw ROMs, I setup "hide status bar" through GMD Gesture Control but it seems to be just killing the System UI process because also incoming calls ring the ringtone, but don't pop up on the screen. VERY ANNOYING lol any suggestions?
*cricket cricket*
TW is a love/hate thing for me...
Hiding status does exactly what you describe. The UI is disabled, and the functions simply stop working all together. ( Hey SAMMY !!...that was a cheap trick)...LOL
The only way I know to get the function you want, is by using the AO builds. Stock TW builds or our variants do not have this function baked in, to my knowledge....g
Are you willing to use a different launcher? Nova allows you to hide the status bar

Many thanks to enryea123 and wilhexm for how to do it here! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2128647

Hey all, it's my understanding that Halo and PIE are built to work on AOSP based roms. I would love to go back to the stability and bonus features of sense, but having to have the menu button eyesore at the bottom of most apps is a deal-breaker. Is there any possibility of getting these addons working on a sense based rom? If not, are there any apps with similar features that can be used with sense?
I would also like to add a torch option on the quick settings menu if that could be done. I realize I can download a flashlight app, but I have been spoiled with having quick access to it on iOS 7 and AOSP.
Flash bonestock. It has a torch toggle, and also go to settings, display, and check "longpress home for menu"

Floating Notifications is an app that is as close as you can get to Halo. There is a free trial period for about 30 days.
As far as pie control, I think there is a launcher called LMT Launcher in the play store that has a pie-like fixture.

LMT launcher works, but it's not in the play store. it's on XDA though. just search for it.
pie control (which is in the play store) works as well, just not as neat as LMT.
sometimes, though, with LMT, it takes a few tries to get an app to start. it's annoying. if pie control showed the time and other notifications like LMT does, it'd be so much better.
Both of these look good. Do they allow you to disable the stock menu button?

My bad. It know it was included in a rom I was using at some point (can't remember which one) and it had been floating around in my TiB for a while now. I assumed it was available in play store as well.

Do you mean the three dots button? You can install a custom rom to do that or xposed has several modules that let you do that. Try Sense 5 Toolbox module.

there are no 3 dots on bottom of screen on my ROM.
technically yes, they can be ported, for example IHTFP69 ported HALO to TW on Samsung. No one said it could be done, he is a genius.
Try my ROM out, if you don't like it, try another.

I just finished downloading your rom and making a nandroid backup. Can't wait to try it out. Thanks for all the suggestions! I've been trying to hold off until 4.3 but with the recent delay it's just not worth waiting anymore.

It will be at least another month maybe 2 before we see 4.3
Replying here instead of in your thread in case anyone else is searching for this answer.
I am loving the rom so far, but I have two questions. The menu bar is gone almost everywhere, but it's still present in dolphin browser. Is there any way to fix that? It doesn't show at all on AOSP. LMT launcher is every bit as good as pie and the menu button being there prevents it from working properly.
I also don't seem to have a torch/flashlight widget in the quick settings. There is an app though which I can make work for me if there's no way to get it in quick settings. Just a minor personal preference.

I got the menu bar removed by changing a setting under display and gestures. It has the unfortunate side effect of making a long press on the home key open the menu as well, but it's still better than the always-present menu button.

Hi guys,
I'm running EclipticONE Sense 5.5/4.4 KitKat and I was wondering if there was a way to get AOSP recent apps with a kill all function? Would that be a system thing or is there an APK for this?
Thanks in advance!

Sense Toolbox and an AOSP recent apps option, but I don't think it has the kill all option for the AOSP recent apps. You might look through gravity box for that. Most of the features in GB work on sense tons. I've had the option working previously.
Edit: The clear all option for AOSP recent apps is under miscellaneous tweaks in Gravity Box. You can use a combo of Sense Toolbox and GB to get what you're looking for.

I installed Xposed, and Sense Toolbox and it gave me a kill all option with pinch and swipe down. This is awesome because I like the way Sense UI has the recent apps laid out - but now I have a kill all option. Thanks a lot!
Edit: I also read about Gravity box that it doesn't play with with ROMs that are based off of manufacturer UI (Sense, Touch) and is only intended for AOSP experience ROMs like CM11.

Ya, it says it's for vanilla android ROMs, but many of the features still work. I'm using it for pie controls right now. Anyways, glad you found what you were looking for. The swipe down is very convenient!

Actually I found a way to have aosp recents. AND HTC at the same time accessible... No modding or anything needed.... Download quick shortcut maker from play store, go to activities, click on system ui, click on recent apps.. it will create a shortcut on your home screen to Google/ aosp recents, yet you'll STILL have HTC Style as default
On my phone the setting looks similar to this
http://i2.wp.com/www.gottabemobile.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Note-5-led.jpg?resize=720,424
Why is it different from the pics in setting
http://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-take-screenshot-note5/
A few American models have the setting layout different than the international models.

Can't.
You would need a custom romantic with the option.
Yeah romantic
Damn that sucks

Yes you can switch it go on main screen gold you finger on any empty space on you home screen and where it will show you a option to change wallpaper next to it you have themes go there and there should be 3 installed then choose the stock one hit apply an thats it if you want experiment then you can go to the market in the same app and download new ones. Good luck replay if you did it
