Hello .... Urgently need help ... would like to try to build my own rom. there is someone who knows anything about it and could get me? Now understand a lot of root, flash, etc. but something of their own would be the madness Have a rootet Arc lt15i unlockt bootloader. I need to software, etc. .... Thank you ever ..

There should be a tutorial section where the basics, precautions, techniques, tricks and tools for development are thought so that there will be more developments improvements and ideas. wsas searching for this tooo

I was looking for a rest for my forum, but could not find until now

You could try dsixda's Android Kitchen there is a easy way to build stock based ROM like removing stuff adding them etc. I used to build sometimes it's really easy. But not for someone who wants to build ROM from scratch like AOSP. They have to setup Kitchen manually there are lot of tutorials out there just search.

[Q] I want to learn to port, help

Hello guys, I want to learn to port android roms. I read quite a lot about it on android.google. I understood quite a lot but not at all enough for porting a new rom. I did not understand how to make drivers for Xperia M(not available on their developer website either). And I did not read further as It went all over my head after that . I want to learn how to build a new rom from scratch. I do not want to use cynogen mod builds, Android Kitchen or pre-built roms. I want to make my own rom the google way(using stock resources provided by google). I need a person as a Mentor for it and loads of resources that will help me achieve it. I am a beginner level C/C++ and Java developer. I realize I do not have enough knowledge for it but that is why I need your help. Lead me to where I can gain this knowledge. Any one who would like to take this novice as his/her disciple will have my gratitude for life time.

Need ROM porting guide for elephone p8000 (mt 6753)

I like to port coolUiI (from coolpad Note 3) to our elephone p8000. as a beginner in lollipop rom porting.. i need detailed info regarding unpacking and repacking, boot.img modifications.. list of files to be replaced, update binary ..etc.. anybody with a generous mind are requested to share their knowledge regarding mt6753 64 bit lollipop rom porting...
NB: don't tell me to ask xda assistant or other threads coz I've already tired all those!!:crying:

Kali nethunter installation,guidance ,what and how on OP 5T

Dear experts,
I am new to this world of changing ROMs, rooting..etc..
i found this very very intresting and rooted my mipad and other MI phone looking at this XDA. Thank you very much to all contributing here.
I have few basic questions related to my new OP 5T, for you guys please take time to answer. and it will be very help full for beginners like me.
1)To root OP5T(any android phone) is it compulsory to have custom recovery like TWRP?? or can we root with out it? please let me know how and any link for both cases are really appreciated.
2)Can we dual boot Oneplus 5T? i want to use official oxygen OS 5.0.3(current one) & also i should be able to switch to other ROM (you suggest the best one) when i reboot the phone. how to achieve this??
3)Is kali nethunter a complete new ROM or is like any other APP ? if its a different ROM then please guid me to dual boot this Kali Net hunter with official oxygen OS.
4)What is a kernal ? and what is a ROM? please make me understand in layman's language with examples.
5)what are the capabilities of Kali nethunter that we really can perform ? i at least need to know how to get into(hack, no bad intentions but only to learn and understand) a wifi network (what all network concepts i need to know? i have a quite basic on it)
Please help with the basics. you can also re direct me to read other links.

Can anyone please provide a proper, elaborate guide for compiling roms for miatoll tree? Have time in lockdown and eager to learn the process.
The guides on google are way too generic or backdated. I guess it'll help many people like me if some DEVS took the time to write a guide which shall in turn, in my opinion promote more development.

This video can help you, checkout this one and Part-2 also. The person compiled ROM for Mido (I guess). But you don't have to do much changes and many things will be same as mido.

i would like that too if some pro dev did a small basic guide as most of the guides are old now i know the basics of compiling and some other stuffs but that's the end of it nothing more.
