I saw the prompt for this feature when first using youtube and immediately regretted enabling it. It oversaturated everything. Now I cant find the setting to turn it off. It seems to be an setting for some of the google apps like youtube and video.

I should be able to turn off geotagging via a setting with the camera options. This setting is not available in the ViperOne ROM. Anyone have any ideas where it may be hiding? I'd ask in that thread, but I don't have enough posts.
Thanks.

I seem to recall 5.0.1 and the newest Android Wear app together were supposed to have the option for taking a screen shot but i don't see it. I updated to 5.0.1 last night and I'm on Android Wear app version 1.0.5.1630507.

check that. that's for general lollipop release.
the api was included. it wasn't included as part of the overall OS:
Screen capturing and sharing
Android 5.0 lets you add screen capturing and screen sharing capabilities to your app with the new android.media.projection APIs. This functionality is useful, for example, if you want to enable screen sharing in a video conferencing app.
The new createVirtualDisplay() method allows your app to capture the contents of the main screen (the default display) into a Surface object, which your app can then send across the network. The API only allows capturing non-secure screen content, and not system audio. To begin screen capturing, your app must first request the user’s permission by launching a screen capture dialog using an Intent obtained through the createScreenCaptureIntent() method.
For an example of how to use the new APIs, see the MediaProjectionDemo class in the sample project.

You take screenshots through the Android Wear app itself.

Enable Developer Options on the phone, then the screenshot option appears in the Android Wear app. (Works on my Nexus 5, Moto 360 with 5.0.1 and Android Wear app 1.0.5)

Thank you. I had Developer Options enabled but it wasn't showing. After toggling a couple of settings it showed up.

No reason to be snide about it. I thought your ineptitude was obvious, but I didn't mention that.

Not working for me. There must be something else that needs to be toggled. Can you screenshot your settings?

I'm on a Nexus 5 with lollipop.
Edit: I do have developer options enabled on my watch too. I don't have any of the settings enabled though.
Maybe need L on the phone, my android wear app on 4.4.4 don't have the option.

Nope, it works fine with 4.4.4. You just need to enable debugging and the option will appear in Android Wear when you click the little gear in the upper right.
debugging
Which option of debugging should we enable?

I 'enabled' developer options on the watch (by tapping a few times on the build number), and did the same to the phone. That's all. Then went back into the Android Wear app on the phone and in the menu 'Take wearable screenshot' appeared.
thanks
Ok thanks we need to enable both developer options! Phone and watch! Thanks

Ok i reset my moto 360 and i dont have the developer option on the watch anymore but i could still take screenshots using the android wear! So you only need to enable the developer options on your phone!
Where are the Screenshots?
I have Developer Options enabled on my phone and watch. Clicked on "Take wearable screenshot" on my Moto. Saw a message that screenshot request was sent.
Where does the screenshot show up? I don't see it in my screenshots folder on my Galaxy S5 phone.

Click on the screenshot notification and it should ask what app you want to share it to. Its a bit clunky.

Hey, thanks for the tip. But, I'm not getting a notification. Something I need to turn on?
There was a setting to do disable this in kitkat but it seems to have been removed in lollipop. I can't find it. Anyone know how to disable Google asking the permission to check every time I install an app? I always reply no but it is annoying.

Hi!
Google settings -> Security -> Improve harmful app detection.
Thanks for replying.
They don't seem to be there in 5.1.1. I had already searched and just searched again. Can't find it. Are you on 5.1.1?

Hi!
Google settings - is not the same like system settings.
Thank you very much. You made my day!
Thanks! This helped me as well. I originally read somewhere else to go the Google Settings. So I went into the settings looking for Google Settings. Didn't realize it was an app since I never used it. Thanks for the screenshots. It helped me a great deal.
Is anyone else having issues getting notifications to advance or go backward when flicking your wrist? I can't get it to work for the life of me.

Cool. Yeah, it seems there are A LOT more settings than there were on 5.0. Glad you found it.

Yeah, the gmail notification bug was fixed.
What wasn't fixed though is the low framerate in certain apps (Google Photos, Samsung Internet, YouTube, Maps, Onenote...) and the weird scrolling acceleration.

Hi,
Last update with oxygen updater made my phone bootloop, so I would like to install the update by official OTA.
Do you know in which country the OTA is out? I would like to install it with a VPN connection.
Thanx

Gmail notification problem has nothing to do with notification, you can check that by going to settings/account/ your google account a'd sync, you'll see that gmail will not sync, so if 8t does not sync, how is it supposed ti get notification
