It's a penetration testing platform, but if you don't know what it is; then you don't need it
Any updates on this?

scarlet-glass is a dev of Nubia Z17. I found he has created two new repositories for the device tree and kernel of Android O.
Hope you could build some new ROMs with these codes.
To my disappointment, I am not a ROMer. However, I do have some experience in Java and Android app dev. I can help you guys to do some test.
Best.

Woo Thanks
Hi everybody, I'm proposing to the active modders community to take care of a kernel usable in the new android Pie 9.0, recently released in two versions: AICP and Lineage OS.
Hoping @corsicanu @ananjaser1211 @GhaithCraft @osm0sis @djb77 @morogoku @TheFlash , can do some awesome work like they already done!
You should ask for that from your current official/unofficial maintainer
Half of those people mentioned ain't even kernel developers.
Also, I've never done any work on this device so I don't know why I'm being asked lol.

Hey, I was wondering if there's anybody interested in the treble project, or if someone is already developing something to do with it for Montana, it would be the best ported for him in my opinion. thank you

Hey, since our device trees are currently messed up, we are planning on starting on Treble as soon as we fix issues with Pie.

As some of you guys know, I've deleted the device and vendor trees for project treble, as I will reset development for it.

Thanks for that. I couldn't test them yet, because I switched to a LineageOS build.
For future searchers finding this: If the Files provided don't work or aren't available, look for TheMuppets on GitHub and choose your device and LineageOS version. (Probably only works with LineageOS)
Any body want to build fully working LineageOS on Daisy?
Thanks
I second that. Someone has built LOS 17 for Redmi 6 pro so there is a place to start.
Some dev want to build LOS, and- if possible- provide it as official state

That's good news, I don't care for official.
Just finished compiling LineageOS 17.1, if you could test it out, would be sweet https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2-lite/development/lineageos-17-1-xiaomi-a2-lite-t4076439
