I have 3 screens, and I have infinite scrolling turned on. On the bottom of the screen I have soft buttons to switch to each screen.
If I'm on screen 1 and hit the zooper button to go to screen 3, it goes to the middle one, then the third, but since infinite scrolling is on it could have simply gone 'backwards' and been a much faster transition like going from page 2 to either page 1 or 3, since it only 'travels' across to the page it wants.
Could the way this works be improved to take into account infinite scrolling and find the homescreen/page faster?
Thanks.

This is something you should probably suggest to the developer of Nova Launcher since this is something only they can change

I see, thanks, I thought that zooper might be able to do it itself. I'll shoot them an email.
Thanks again.
Got a new G3, the F460 with Snapdragon 805, guess straight from Korea (bought on Swappa). Minor annoyance, the lock screen shows double clock - "Local" and "Home" time, where "home" is, I guess, Seoul Korea. How do I get rid of this "Home" time there or change its time zone to elsewhere? There is nothing on it in lock screen options, time zone settings in system settings also don't affect this, nothing in "Clock" application settings... Any ideas?
I was wondering this too.

Remove the widget by long pressing it on locked screen, then you can replace it with whatever you want.
Doesn't work with that particular widget.

Right, as the user just above me wrote, it does not work. You can press it as long as you want - eventually the lock screen will timeout and go dark, but you can't remove or edit this widget in any way. Any other ideas?

Nope... it is enabled, but still can't remove or change the clock settings in any way. So seemingly simple problem and yet so difficult to solve!

Ok, try this way:
- screen is locked but it's on
- touch and hold the widget and try to pull it down like notification bar
- widget should become bigger and editable
- touch and hold the widget (now you should be able to remove it)

Thank you for trying to help, Czechu! Dzięki! Unfortunately it still does not work. I can swipe the lock screen from the left edge, and _only_then_ I get a page and widget you show on your video. However, the screen that comes up first upon turning on is different, has two digital clocks that cannot be modified in any way, cannot be swiped down - nothing...

Heh, trudno.... I'm out of ideas then. Seems like the Korean variant is a bit different than euro. Hopefully someone will have a solution for that. Maybe try some 3rd party lockscreena for the time being?

Try this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2769512
This works perfectly. You can safely uninstall the app thereafter. It won't undo the setting. Thanks!
Try to download an app called Dual Clock Remover. i had the same problem too. But after downloading this app it worked(^-^)v
Solution Here - Works Perfectly.

This guy demonstrate that how to disable roaming clock through settings which is hidden. In order to access those settings, you need to download a free app named "Quick Shortcut Maker" from playstore. I just follow his steps and i just feel happy. 100% working.
I've switched from a Note 4 to an S6 Edge and I love my new phone, but there are two things I miss and I'm wondering if there is a hidden setting somewhere that I'm missing: large album art on lock screen and infinite scrolling of home screens. Looking to keep touch wiz and don't want to root.
I'm also interested on this topic. I haven't been able to find the option to enable infinite scroll on my S6. I was able to deactivate the Magazine page by unchecking the box at the top but it won't scroll to the left after it reaches the home screen.

Thinking this is more Samsung conforming to Googles guidelines and using lollipop as they intended. Another annoyance is the lack of alphabetical order in the app draw again a lollipop thing.
I think a launcher maybe the only option.

Best thing to do if this is important to you is download a launcher. Nova is a really good one and I can confirm that it does offer infinite scrolling, as well as many, many other options. 5 pages of docks, scrolling left/right or up/down, etc.

Hey, I HATE the default G4 lockscreen. I have tried a couple of the 3rd party ones, (CM unlock etc) but non of them are doing it for me.
Anyone have any suggestions on lock screens for the G4?
I like C Locker from the Play Store on my G3. Requires root.
I too hate the stock LG lockscreen, the animations are SO tacky. Is there any lockscreen replacement that works with 1. Encryption and 2. Smart unlock (Bluetooth paired devices)?
Would love a proper AOSP replacement, or at least removing those horrible animations.
Ever since I debloated, I can only use the stock wallpapers on the lockscreen. Not sure how that happened, haven't bothered to fix it, but it's kinda annoying.
Try Hi Locker https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.appplus.hilocker&hl=en
Every I change my lockscreen wallpaper it reverts to the default one after a while. Anyone know a fix for that?
I tried some third party lock screens, but none really do the job. C Locker is closest but even as a system app, it doesn't totally lock down the device. When you open the camera/phone apps from the lock screen, they aren't opened in secure mode, so e.g. the camera app will let you browse the photo gallery, the phone app will let you call non-emergency numbers and open the contacts list, etc. It's also possible to open the recent app list, even though it's supposed to be blocked.
Also, all of the lock apps require first swiping to open the PIN entry keypad. I wish it was just automatically displayed like on the stock lock screen.
Really, my only gripe with the stock locker is that the buttons are so ugly and it keeps reverting to the default wallpaper. (But I love that with C Locker, I can add DashClock widgets... can't believe Google removed such a nice feature! But I don't want to use it with these security issues...)
Also C Locker does have a nice trick to block the home screen by installing itself as the home screen (and then launching either the lock screen or your actual home screen app as appropriate), but it has an issue with ADW Launcher, that causes it to run whatever action you set to the home button, every time it's opened. (I guess it launches the real home screen before you actually let go of the button.)

I have the same issue. When I reboot the lockscreen wallpaper reverts back to the default LG one. Have you discovered a fix?

I was not able to resolve that issue. Sorry.
I'm having another annoying issue ever since I installed XPosed. Sometimes the 1 key on the PIN entry just gets stuck and won't register. Only fix is to open the camera app and close it again, or reboot.
It might have to do with GravityBox lockscreen mods, since some of them broke it completely (just blank screen, no way to unlock); fortunately I could still reboot, and the problems wouldn't happen the first time after booting, so I was able to revert those tweaks. But even with all of the tweaks disabled, the stuck 1 key still happens at random.
So I figured out the stuck key issue. An app called Text Aide uses XPosed to force all text to be selectable by double tapping. That applied even to the lockscreen PIN entry buttons, so double tapping them (when typing repeated digits quickly) triggered the selection behavior, and then the button wouldn't respond. Removed that app, problem solved. Unfortunately I couldn't seem to prevent it applying to the lockscreen using the app's blacklist function.

Removing the stock gallery app means you can't change the lockscreen wallpaper.

Did you disable the default LG Gallery app? I heard that this causes the issue you described.
With my S6, the wallpaper would rotate (and crop to fit) when I forced it into landscape mode.
I use Nova Launcher, Tasker, "Rotate" app.
On the S9, when I force landscape, the wallpaper stays the same.
Display > Home Screen > Portrate mode only (uncheck this)
You should be able to do it with a 3rd party launcher, though?

Ah. That's grayed-out in my S9 settings and I don't see that option in Nova Launcher - hopefully it's there somewhere.

Hi guys,
I have the same problem on my S9+. Wallpaper doesn't rotate. Neither in Samsung Launcher nor in Nova Launcher. Tried the setting you suggested - nothing changed.
My S8 has the same settings and it works on that device. Any ideas?

Yes, I meant to follow up and say the same thing - even with the stock launcher, changing the Display setting just allows the icons to rotate - the wallpaper remains portrait. Really bummed that the wallpaper can't rotate to landscape. Android should allow that kind of customization.

Android does allow it I suppose. As I said, it works on my S8. Therefore I think the source of the problem is either related to Samsungs S9(+) or the carrier modifications.
What does it say on your phone for carrier softwareversion? Mine says DTM/DTM,DTM/DTM where my S8 says DTB/DTB/DTB

Can anyone confirm that wallpaper rotation works on their S9/S9+? Doesn't work on mine (Xeo). Perhaps on another carrier or ROM?

No. I switched to DTB but still doesn't rotate.
I've just spoken to Samsung's consultant and they said that phone ROM doesn't provide the possibility for wallpaper or live wallpaper to rotate...
That worries me a lot as I have KLWP (Kustom) and Tasker preset that need wallpaper rotation for them to work properly ;( ...
Perhaps some kind of MOD could bring this back to life ...

in your opinion, the solution to allow wallpaper rotation can be somehow found (by for ex. custom ROM) or is it rather permanent and i should rather focus on finding other solutions for my presets?

Anyone ... Guys, as above, permanent no wallpaper rotation or can be somehow done?
If any want to get Samsung to fix this, they should call and make a support ticket, which is what I did. This is one update that totally halted my app release which was suppose to be this week. Make the call everyone!!
Have the same problem on my Verizon Galaxy Note 8 only after applying the April security update patch. Wallaper rotation worked fine on all launchers (that could rotate) before. Even if you applied a wallaper with Samsung's wallpaper applier, it would rotate in Nova or Smart Launcher. Now wallpaper rotation is completely broken. The launchers will still rotate (except Samsung's but the stock one has never had that ability on the Verizon Note 8), however the wallpaper always remains portrait regardless of launcher or wallpaper applier.
Verizon and/or Samsung messed up the wallpaper handling in Android with the April security patch.
This is the only place online I've seen this issue even mentioned. I really wish it'd get fixed.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 on Xfinity Mobile. Latest update broke wallpaper rotation so this is a Samsung issue I believe.
same situation here with the T-Mobile note 8

Ditto, but I am experiencing this on a US Unlocked Note 8 (SM-N950U1)., and is continuing on the may security patch. I have done a factory reset and the problem was not fixed. I contacted Samsung several times and eventually they redirected me to their research team, who I have yet to call.
I experience envy every single time one of my friends rotates into landscape and their wallpaper rotates accordingly. I never knew just how much I loved wallpaper rotation. F.
Obviously the problem is not vendor specific as we have had several vendors represented in these posts and I can add AT&T to the list as my S9+ will not rotate my wallpaper either although my S6 did so just fine, despite the fact that the Home Screen option in Display settings is grayed out and untouchable on it as well.
I believe the answer is for all of us S9 owners to bombard Samsung with trouble tickets to get their attention. This may not have the impact of the Note7 meltdown problem but it is obviously very annoying to a great many people.
I am quite used to my S6's background rotating when I put it on my magnet mount in the car and now with my 9+ that pleasure is lost. At least the rest of the screen items (except the dock) do rotate, but the aesthetic is just not right.
I hadn't thought of using Tasker to straighten this out but according to the posts I have read elsewhere Tasker solutions aren't working either.
