I have just updated my oneplus 3 from oxygen os 3.1.3 to 3.2.4 via ota update.
But now I am facing an issue with the all clear button in recent menu, previously on 3.1.3 it was working perfectly as i was not receiving any notification from apps like whatsapp as it was getting cleared from background.
Now, after the update whenever I click on the all clear button it gives a toast notification "all clear" (as earlier) but not really clears the apps from background, I still get the notification, but it does clear the apps from recent menu.

I am currently running leedroid rom on my HTC 10.
1. I am constantly on wifi networks, and am constantly switching wifi networks. Because of this, I am constantly getting the notification on my lockscreen and status bar that reads "Connected to xxxx wireless network". Is there any way to permanently disable this and any other system notifications?
2. I am also running Xposed framework with the module Android N-ify. One thing I have noticed is that the "Clear All" button for notifications does not work anymore. What actually appears to be happening is that by default there is one button to clear all which is part of the rom, but then the android N-ify module tries to change that. So if I look closely, I can see that there are two "Clear all" buttons stacked on top of each other.
When I had Xposed I used a module called NotifyClean. Worked pretty well for blocking certain notifications. If I recall you would have to block each "Connected to xxx network" notification once, for every time you connect to a new network. Else you would have to block all notifications from "System", which you may not want to do.
Another user also mentioned an app called Notifications Off which you can find on the Play Store. Looks similar to NotifyClean.

Go to N-ify settings > Notifications > Disable "Change dismiss button"
Sent from my HTC 10 using XDA Labs
There are several notifications that are annoying to say the least.
We have a lot of control to handle app notifications that appear, but this is a system notification it seems, I can't identify what system feature is triggering the alert, then of course disabling it.
Running the Oreo Beta on a fresh install.
One of the notifications is: "blah blah app is using the battery, select for more details..." or something to that affect. It is a Android system notification, but I can't figure out what triggers that one and how to disable it.
Example, Life 360 app running in the background all the time, the alert will randomly show in the notification bar. Just swiping down and looking at it often makes it go away, I don't select it, or I just clear the alerts with the bars at the bottom.
Thanks
Go to Google Play and search for an app called "Hide 'running in the background' Notification" by iboalali.
Awesome. Thanks
Recently purchased the s9 (GM-G960F). However, I've noticed that the notifications are really buggy. I don't receive ANY notifications for my Gmail, Instagram sometimes works but when it does, 80% of the time it only vibrates with no sound. With WhatsApp, I only receive notifications for every 10 or so messages, and most of the time it only vibrates.
Twitter, WhatsApp and Instagram are unmonitored from the battery
All notifications are on and set to urgent (so I get sound and pop up on the screen)
Notification sound is set to "skyline" (default notification sound)
I've tried using other notification sounds but no luck
I've looked in advanced notifications and I can't find anything wrong
Reset phone twice and still nothing
I've cleared the cache a number of times for each app that notifications don't work
Any help?
Try Push Notification Fixer from Play Store

Thanks, I installed it this morning. However, there is no difference. Notifications are still buggy
Check that you didn't enable any battery saving feature or install any on your phone including those that stops applications from accessing the internet or updating in the background. Also check the status bar in the settings, "Show Recent Notifications Only" should be turned off.

I've checked and no battery saving features are activated for WhatsApp, Twitter and Instagram. (I've even turned off the save data feature in Instagram and Twitter), As for Gmail, nothing shows in the battery settings to unmonitor it.
Show recent notifications is off (it's one of the first things I did when I set up the phone)
My current Apps that I have installed are:
WhatsApp
Instagram
Twitter
Google Authenticator
Spotify
Snapseed
The rest of the apps came pre-installed on the device (Youtube, Gmail, Drive, Maps...)
I've started to uninstall one by one the Apps i've installed to see if it fixes it. So far I've tried Spotify and Instagram, but no fixes were made.
I've even gone into recovery mode and cleared the whole cache.
Hi guys,
One of the features i like about ASUS phones is the ability to control apps through the app Mobile manger but the problem with it is that it takes a while to know how to use it. So what ends up happening is that a lot of your apps notifications gets delayed or never show up or your apps are killed when your phone screen turns off or your VPN is killed when you clear it from the recent apps menu.
Solution:
Open the Mobile Manager app:
-Head to Memory Cleaner section
-Go to "Super Clean mode is turned on" Setup - click it
here you can turn off the option for all apps or deselect the apps you don't want to be killed when you clear the apps from the recent menu, once the app is deselected from the App list it will appear under the headline "Standard Clean the following apps".
-Next after deselecting the apps go back to the PowerMaster section in Mobile Manger/ then Auto-start manger /
Here make sure that All apps button is turned green then under the section "Allowed" make sure to select the apps you want to auto start so that you can receive their notifications. Deselect the apps you don't want to auto start.
-Finally go to the settings page /under Battery section / detect battery-draining apps:
unselect "Detect & stop" button.
-Go back to: Battery optimization section:
make all the social apps and apps you want to receive their notifications on time turned to : "Not optimized".
After this your apps shouldn't be killed even after you clear them from the recent menu, and you will receive your notifications on time.
Good Luck
Apparently it's not working for Spotify

Are you sure you followed the steps stated. Personally i don't use Spotify so i am not sure if it works or not. So far I have no issues with apps I want to receive notifications from and ones I don't want to receive. If nothing works try to disable super clean mode and auto start apps and make sure battery optimization is not on for Spotify.
Really helpful post. I once tried to figure out the way to receive email notification and this just works. Thank you
thanks a lot buddy! i was having notification issues for some of the apps and its solved now! I had done most of the changes already but the Super clean mode was still on and causing issues. All good now.
I have tencent version converted on WW 1608 (fingerprint as well) and don't have that app in phone ???? You have CH rom folks?

Its not an app. Go to Settings > Advanced and you will see Mobile Manager as the first option under Assistive Tools.
On mobile manger cleanup where it says suggested optimization how do I uncheck uninstall rarely used apps I have so far tried resetting app preferences and also a factory reset and a hard factory reset

Thanks Vespirah - did you ever get to un-check the feature (I didn't).
Saw a post I think that was in here about getting the US S10 rooted with a link to a telegram chat. After everything was said and done my device is rooted. However Im left with out to use of that button at the lower left that opens the recent used apps to switch to or close them. I get vibration and it highlights but that's it. Is that a normal after effect? Or is there a fix that I'm hoping that not a factory reset?
It's a normal effect that you didn't enable Google assistant and there is no use of factory reset
Didn't know that had to do anything with Google assistant when before I rooted it opened the recent apps let me pick an app to go to or close them all. On the navigation bar at the bottom. Not the Bixby button which before I even rooted that was the first thing I changed
