Please, help me to boot my OP3 to recovery. - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

I do this: [GUIDE] Mega Unbrick Guide for A Hard Bricked OnePlus 3.
So now, my OP3 can't boot into recovery. It showed as my picture post below.

You need to basically use the complete unbrick (the 1 GB file), which will format your userdata, however, there's a way to save userdata in the thread. I have faced similar problems before and the complete unbrick file solved it for me.

You have hard bricked your device..!!
Dont worry use the method 2 of that Unbrick Guide which worked for me..!!
You will be alright if you follow it properly.
That will download a stock image so you will be having a stock system with recovery.
Just make sure your drivers are good.
Ask me for any doubts.

My OP3 turn on again with the method 2.
Thank everybody.

According to the Karbonn A9 thread of fonehacker they have simply flashed back the STOCK ROM to unroot the mobile..
If u need such method then its very simply, just flash the "Chinese CWMR Touch v5.5.0.4" recovery and then restore the STOCK ROM as per first post.. Then if you need your STOCK RECOVERY flash that as per instruction..

Have you done both ROOTING GUIDE for SPICE Stellar Mi-425 and GUIDE for FLASHING STOCK RECOVERY of SPICE STELLAR Mi-425.. If not do both methods.. According to theory there should be no problem in doing Factory Reset after successfully flashing both..
No there is no need to follow ROOTING WITHOUT LOSING STOCK RECOVERY for SPICE Stellar Mi-425 as you have already rooted your device.. This method is only for guys who have unrooted STOCK ROM.. Instead of FLASHING STOCK RECOVERY of SPICE STELLAR you could FLASH CHINESE CWMR RECOVERY(for sure we will get English version as few friends are working with that).. LG G4 H815 Stock Marshmallow - Can't seem to flash TWRP

So I unlocked my bootloader when running Lolipop and then flashed H81520A_00.kdz using LG UP. Now I have what I think is a stock Marshmallow with no root and no custom recovery. I've been trying to flash TWRP and all the guides say pretty much the same thing. So I use adb to boot into bootloader, then try and flash an image from the TWRP website and everything seems to go well however every time I try to boot into recovery I get the same dead droid with ! in a red triangle. I read on the TWRP website that the images I've been trying to flash require 2.8.4 but I can't find it available for download anywhere.
I've basically being going in circles and repeating pretty much the same actions over and over for hours now. I'm sure I'm making a simple newbie mistake but I can't figure it out. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Ensure you have the oem unlock active (see screenshot)
When flashing twrp use the latest one available
1. Boot into bootloader
2. Use
fastboot boot twrp.img
(replace twrp.img with the real file name you downloaded)
3. Then copy the twrp.img to your device while in twrp
4. Flash the twrp.img with twrp to the recovery partition (choose the button at the bottom named image to show the copied image)
5. done

Thanks for this guide. Fastboot loading the image and then flashing the image worked. It's kind of annoying how little this method is publicised although maybe the fault lies with my ability to use Google.
Anyway, thanks again, I know a post just saying that isn't useful and there's a thanks button but I am grateful for your assistance.

Hi,
Since its a nexus device this is pretty easy. All you have to do is flash the stock factory image and lock the bootloader
A guide can be found here from xda
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/general/tutorial-flash-factory-images-unroot-t3231627
The factory images are here (Nexus 5x is bullhead)
https://developers.google.com/android/images
Seeing that you have a custom rom, you have already unlocked the bootloader and presumably have ADB and fastboot installed on your PC
I would recommend following the guide on the google link above. Alternatively you can leave the bootloader unlocked in case you want to flash a custom ROM again
:/

sadly , i have done all the necessary steps and to no success... The guide i followed somehow wasn`t the same case i was in, meaning that i , even though i had downloaded everything step by step as provided , the outcome was not the same. My .bat prompted the cmd and had loads of errors for files missing.
Any way on how i can fix this ?

Follow method 2.
The flash all scripts didn't work for me either. Just extract the images and flash them individually.
Back up your stuff as this will wipe everything!

so dumb sorry for wasting your time man but thanks
How's this going?
Have you experienced the boot loop on your device? If so, first check to see if you are covered by warranty. Call LG, they will confirm.
If you are unsure if you boot loop, test with a factory image
https://developers.google.com/android/images and get 8.1 for Nexus 5x specifically https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/bullhead-opm1.171019.011-factory-3be6fd1c.zip
This should have a flash-all.bat. this will wipe your device and return it to stock.
lock your bootloader
If it boots, congratulations you have a stock Nexus 5x with access to all of the Google play apps including Netflix.
If it doesn't boot fulfill your RMA with LG if still applicable. Otherwise, continue to the BLOD fix laid out here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/general/nexus-5x-bootloop-death-blod-andorid-t3683926
In summary the BLOD fix
Unlock your bootloader, install TWRP, flash the boot.img from the BLOD page, boot into TWRP, sideload the elementalX tweaks zip, and you'll be up and running.
If you do experience the BLOD, it suggests the largest of your cores have fallen to hardware failure, as have most of ours. You will experience significant performance reductions as you're left without your 2 main processing cores. LG is well aware of this issue, and they have guidelines set to help for free (in my case, no obvious physical/water damage and covered by the extended warranty-- which I believe came about after a class action lawsuit)
Good luck,
And have fun with it

Install Magisk without PC and root

Hello everyone,
Since I'm facing difficulties connecting my Nexus 5X to my PC (believe me, I have tried nearly everything), I was wondering if it is possible to flash Magisk to my phone without the use of a PC. The bootloader is still unlocked because i've rooted my phone previously (when it still could connect to my PC). All the possibilities I ran into require either root or a PC.
I hope one of you guys knows a way how to handle this without losing all my data.
Thanks in advance!
Assuming you don't have a custom recovery installed either?? What's the "difficulty with trying to hook to a PC?
No, I don't have a custom recovery installed. There are more people facing this problem: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/help/unlock-bootloader-fastboot-detecting-t3236946/page4. Solution is not working for me for some reason.
To install magisk you need a custom recovery. And to install a custom recovery you need a pc.

I was afraid of that. Maybe i'll go with a factory reset then. Thanks tot the help anyways.

You're right. You can flash a boot image with fastboot. Is there a boot image that has magisk as party of it?
Well, I have installed Magisk Manager, and it gives me the option to patch a boot image-file. When I choose this option it askes me to select te original boot image-dump (.img or .img.tar). Since I'm no expert and I don't know where to find this and what this does, I'm afraid of losing my data or bricking my phone.

You would use the boot.img from the factory image that your rom is based on. Find your device below and download the 1 GB zip. Inside this zip is another zip you'll need to open to find the boot image (boot.img). Flashing boot images doesn't wipe internal storage, but it does remove root if you had it installed.
Factory images:
https://developers.google.com/android/images?hl=en
There's not really a collection of stock boot images besides what's included in the factory image.

Instead of downloading the entire ROM, you might find what you need here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/general/modified-boot-imgs-android-n-t3495169

Hello there ,
I have same as your issue.
My pixel 2 xl non rooted with unlocked bootloader.
So, Is it possible to flash latest OTA update directly through the phone via stock recovery?
As you aware that with the known and common pixel 2 xl issue which you can't get it connected to PC.
I'm stuck on October update and I'd be glad if someone could help me out on this matter.

No OS Installed accidentally wipe system of xiaomi mi a2 lite

Hello Good day everyone, please help this idiot who just bricked his phone for no reason at all:crying:
I accidentally wipe my system or should i say im just flat out an idiot for wiping everything without any backup. i have installed twrp and i unlock the bootloader already because i wanted to install miui in my mi a2 lite phone but ended up wiping everything and now im stuck in twrp mode. i still can do fastboot and open my phone in twrp mode but thats all NO OS. How can i save my phone back to normal. please help me. THANK YOU ALL!!!
If you can get to fastboot, use the stock rom flash script. See the stock rom thread in the guides forum.
If you've got windows, miflash may be easier to use. I think it takes the same stock rom file.

Just make sure you download a fastboot rom which has all partitions.
When I wanted to remove all traces of root from my phone last week, i noticed that many of the more recent images only have /system or just a few partitions.
I ended up installing one of the earliest Pie images (V10.0.2.0.PDLMIFJ if i recall correctly) and then doing all the OTA's until I was at V11.0.9.0.QDLMIXM or something.
Fix

It happened to me like a week ago and i was able to fix it just yesterday. cuz i am new at this root stuff. But i was able to do it at th e end. You need to install stock rom, miflash. Also download flashable stock rom. Because i installed like 5 stock roms. But they were not flashable so it did not work. Extract the stock rom that you downloaded. Then open miflash. Now go into fastboot mode and plug your phone to your pc. Now locate the folder where flashable files are and then click flash. It should say Success. If not that means it did not work. But it should work so yeah. That is it.
guys my phone boots into fastboot only, no twrp no recovery, any way to fix it?
