That's just my Remix OS port for Nexbox A95X with couple of lines changed in build.prop. I actually made some effort to fix wifi/remote/etc and make it into a TWRP flashable zip. No credit given but what can you expect from 4pda...
Apparently MXQ PRO has similar enough hardware as the A95X (rtk8189es wifi mainly) that it works. It still has the Nexbox A95X kernel and all. Just feels so wrong to run something that is really not meant for your device.

Not your fault of course. It's good to know it also works on MXQ Pro. You'd deserve a proper port for your device, though.

I have remix OS installed in my MXQ p201..love it...but only ethernet works...no wifi. It lets me "turn on" the wifi but it doesn't scan or show any available networks...any suggestions...im not always able to use ethernet when I take the box to my basement.

Is to apply this pre-rooted custom ROM:
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum...d-firmware-based-on-v1-1-5-20131211-1/#p35124
The iFive X3 is virtually identical to the iFive X2 (same processor, screen resolution, wireless chipsets), the X3 is slightly larger and is black and has optional 3G connectivity built in.
Pretty much any mod designed for the X2 should work on the X3 with no changes whatsoever.
rooted with TPSparkyRoot.bat
Hi, I've rooted easily my ifive x3 using TPSparkyRoot.bat for Rockchip 3188 http :// blog.geekbuying. com/index.php/2013/03/14/how-to-root-rockchip-rk3188-quad-core-device-like-cube-u30gt-2-pipo-m9/#.UsmJH_RDswo

Amlogic S905 devices and Remix support

Hi
There's the Tronsmart S95, and now also the Unuiga U1 that supports Remix OS. But does anyone know how updates really will be supported? By Remix? The S905 is quite a lot more powerful than the Alwinner in the Mini so it's quite interesting in that sense, but not knowing about future support...
Waiting for support Odroid-C2
yes even i am interested to know. Will it receive direct updates from Remix (Jide)?
Also any one already reviewed this device Unuiga U1?
If i'm not mistaken, the amlogic s905 is also featured in their new AIO so I believe that there will be official updates from them.
Install Remix on MXQ Pro
Hi, Since it can be downloaded from Jide web page...Does anyone know how to install Remix OS 2.0 in a MXQ Pro (s905), maybe like flashing a ROM?
MXQ Pro (s905) quickplay?
I bought the Vensmile u1 two weeks ago which is the same as Unuiga u1/s905. After updating the OS with the seller`s img file, there`s been one OTA update. So, I suppose it is supported officially.

Nougat for Redmi 1s???

This there a nougat development for our device? I hope there is as the new doze implementation will benefit low end devices like our Redmi 1s.
Thanks..
Not possible.
Redmi 1S most probably won't get Android 7.0 because of CPU & GPU restrictions. It will only support the following devices as mentioned in the article by Android Authority.
""Looking over the list of devices that will receive Nougat we find the following:
1) The devices cover a range of GPUs including Adreno 306, Adreno 430 and Mali-T860.
2) The devices have a broad performance range from the Helio P10 and the Snapdragon 410 right through to the Snapdragon 820.
3) Most of the devices have 64-bit processors.""

i think redmi 1s will get 7.0 with some limitations like no individual file-encryption system as it requires a high speed storage
and OpenGL

How can it better? Snapdragon 400 doesn't support vulcan.
I think we better wait for cm 14 and armani-dev to work once it released

That's right too! But is faster installation of apps based on storage or the Vulkan API?

No, Vulkan is basically something like OpenGL, it's a premade library that helps take the load off the GPU, but only if the game creators used stuff from that library.
hope so

You have to try cm13 boot.img because the version released is cm14 for falcon not the Mokee7.0 for falcon. So try with cm13 boot.img and report if it boot's or not!

PX5 ROMs Cross comaptibility question.

I have a PB68WRJP Xtrons with 6.2" (800x480 resolution) screen that, as confirmed by Xtrons, has the Split Screen functionality disabled. They says that this function is available only for the 7" screen units and up (I don't know why).
I suspect that the functionality is disabled in the build.prop file since, even enabling the Developer Options, it doesn't work.
I saw that the available ROMs from Xtrons are of 2 types (as provided by Xtrons):
- PB Series (mine)
- PE Series
In the ROM there isn't any indication on the specific Model and relevant screen size. The only difference is on the main zip file name:
- PE : GS-PE 系列 Android 8.0 .谷歌后台更新和手机互联版本更新到5.09gs5_PX5_8.0_升级包(20180504)
Inside the PE file there is the following directory:
"GS-PE 系列 Android 8.0 2+32G谷歌后台更新和手机互联版本更新到5.09gs5_PX5_8.0_升级包(20180504)"
(Translated "GS-PE series Android 8.0 2+32G Google background update and mobile internet version updated to 5.09gs5_PX5_8.0_ upgrade package (20180504)")
Inside there are this 2 files:
- dmcu.img: Size: 221 KB (MCU)
- update.zip: Size 1018599 KB (ROM)
- PB : GS-PB 系列 Android 8.0 .谷歌后台更新和手机互联版本更新到5.09gs5_PX5_8.0_升级包(20180504)
Inside the PB file there is the following directory:

Inside there are this 2 files:

- update.zip: Size 1018599 KB (ROM)
As you can see, all the files are identical, including the one that are inside the "update.zip" above.
My idea is to install a PE Series ROM on my PB in order to see if I will have the functionality enabled, but I don't know if the different screen resolutions (1025x600) could case problems or brick the unit.
Anyone could help me ?
Thanks

PB series are the android 8 based px5 units and PE the previous android 6 based px5 units.
So dont worry about the resolution you are safe to install the version you have

If I understood well, the PE are the previous Android 6 unit updated to Android 8 from Xtrons ?
Then, were is the "resolution" written in the ROM ?
Thanks

no problem, the universal implementation of the MTCD/E platform allows you to programmatically change the screen resolution from 800x480 to 1024x600 and back through different parameters set in the dmcu.ext file

Doubts about what version install on my device

Hello, I would like to install a rom in my LG K40s (LM-X430EMW) with Android 9. The problem is that if I check if my device is compatible with Treble or not in Treble Info it says that is compatible and is ARM32 but uses 64bit binder, in the other hand If I check my device compatibility in Treble Check it says that is compatible and uses a CPU with 32 bit ARM. So my question is: What version from here (https://sourceforge.net/projects/andyyan-gsi/files/lineage-17.x/) should I install on my device? I hope you can help me, I attached some screenshots if you need more information. Thank you very much.
