When I press the recent apps button, it doesn't always refresh the list of apps that I just used. For example, the apps appear in the last order that I saw them in, and a newly launched app doesn't appear in the list at all. My workaround solution is to press the recent apps button, click on the home screen, then press recent apps again to refresh the list. I love my OP3, but this can get pretty annoying. Any ideas on how to fix this? If not, perhaps you can recommend a good multitasking app?
This is a bug that a number of people across various forums have been reporting only recently so presumably it is a bug OP have introduced in one of the latest updates.

Thanks for your response. I've only found two others who have the same problem on the OP3, and one of them said it existed for them since an older update. I wonder if installing a custom rom would fix this type of issue.

Anyone else getting the bug on updated/non stock chrome that causing the browser to become blank or just stuck at the background color after it tried to load/reload the page you want to view?
This bug occur when I leave the chrome on for too long in the background with several tabs open or heavy web pages
The only way to fix this is by closing tabs and clearing the app itself from ram
This issue occur on both stable and beta version of chrome, any chrome other than the one provided with stock rom
Anyone else experiencing this? Any fix/solution?[emoji55]
me dude. i just had enough of it and removed the update and now it's all back to normal.
Yeah removing the update can fix it but then it defeat the purpose of having update capability, is there any way to make google aware of this?

I am also having this problem. The issue is known to Google, if you research it. We have to wait for an update to see it go away. It's a sad state of affairs. I like Chrome and now I can't use it. And it ruins my exp3ri3nce with my G3, as the problem is practically non-existent on my N7.

According to a google community thread, apparently this is not an lg g3 exclusive issue, this happened on other devices as well and look pretty random
Hopefully a fix soon come because I've tried other browsers and while some of them are nice but they tend to eat much more battery compared to chrome
Anyone else receive the OTA update N910AUCU1BNK3 that's been pushing to devices in the last few days?
From what I've read its miscellaneous improvements and the inclusion of more preloaded apps, along with HD voice.
Anyone notice any changes? More specifically the "miscellaneous improvements"?
Wondering what else is going on being this is a new phone with little to no update history thus far
Ive noticed:
Quicker + smoother launching of the recent apps after pressing the soft button
New menu for the "HD Voice" seen below
Updated multi-window support

Already a huge thread on this.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-att/general/att-ota-downloading-t2960247
Hello there,
I recently purchased a used HTC 10 (original purchase date ~5.2016)...
Every time I am searching the flash deals in the Amazon App (I think I have similar problems with AliExpress too, but I am not able to reproduce this on poruse. Amazon is every time making these problems.), I have this weird scrolling behavior.
Procedure:
1. Open App - enter flash deals
2. scroll list, click on entry, go back
3. scroll further
---> Screen will return to the position, where you last checked one entry by clicking on it.
It looks like the "keyboard-choosing-cursor" is stuck there. (Yellow frame around the entry), and I can't go much further down, until it will scoll up again.
Fixing is going back to previous page, going back again, scrolling down to the last items I was.
This is not the workaround I could live with, since I am very limited on using these apps.
Already shoot some google searches, but only got things like "not responsive touch" etc...
Other apps seems normal, eBay has no such problem since now...
Amazon seems to have this problems only within the flash-sales, not the normal.
For AliExpress I wasn't able to reproduce this on purpose.
Is this a app specific fault? Or is it my device?
I am coming from a M7 with CyangenMod 13 (6.0.1) and I am running on the 10 6.0.1 Stock...
Someone else experiencing this? Or heard about it?
I am very clueless..
Thanks
houston
I've noticed this behaviour too with Swipe for Facebook and Chrome Browser. I could reproduce with Swipe by opening an external link with, for example, a floating browser like Flynx, returning to Swipe app i can't scroll well, same behaviour as your. I noticed that to the dev and it comes with a fix, but in the same time i had an update from Google Webview (Beta) in the Play Store, so i can't say who was the guilty one., but I don't have this problem now.
I make these statements because both Swipe for Facebook, Chrome Brtowser and Amazon use html wrapper/webview, but i can be wrong.
I just received the instruction to update webview from the amazon support.
Well ... I oped out the beta program, reinstalled webview and now I am fine
I have read your post to late. But you are mentioning webview too, so I think it is all about webview. Do you use the beta too?
Conclusion for me:
WebView Beta was the culprit. Reinstalling the stable fixed it for me.

Fixing it again?
I think I will stay with stable
It happens with beta chrome and webview. If an item is selected it will scroll back to that item. It has to stay in the viewport. Just deselect the item to fix it.
I bought a Galaxy s9, a couple of weeks ago and the next update came:
G900ZHU2ARE6 / G9600OWA2ARE6 / G9600ZCU2ARE6
my question is, is it advisable to update it? or I wait for Android P?
Currently I have the G9600ZHU1ARBG version
Of course update it

Just curious, but why do you think it's not ok to update. I've seen very few if any problems with an official update.
I just did the update and I regret it so much. First of all, dozens of my apps don't work anymore. Most noticeably - Swipe Keyboard and Coinbase Wallet. Besides that, I can't apply custom themes from themeGalaxy anymore because the demo themes are limited to 10 minutes of use now. Good Lock refuses to work as well and I hate the new Quick settings and task window. Also getting random crashes on every other app now. My phone is entirely stock and not rooted. All in all, awful experience for me.

That was my initial thought. Luckily I managed to fix the app crashing issue (my custom launcher design was at fault). However, I had to revert to the standard theme and I'm not a fan of the new non-customizable task changer and notification bar. I'll learn to live with those, I guess. It's pointless to stay at an older Android version for such minor reasons.

Overall it is a huge upgrade over Oreo, few changes to adjust to but as is the way with updates, personally I prefer the new task changer and so on now, while weirdly when using Goodlock on Oreo I hated that design and always left it as stock
Update G9600
Go to Setup / update / manual update / search for update
The phone is loading the official Samsung S9 G9600 update.
(every month between 10 and 15 has an update)
In January promised update to Android PIE official.

My issues with the task changer are the fact that you can't swipe the apps down anymore (it now opens them instead of dismissing) and the inability of leaving the task changer by simply tapping the background. It just disrupts my "workflow" and I'm getting annoyed by it every single time. Oh, and I'm always locking my chat apps but now the unlock button is in the lower right corner of the app card, which is where my thumb usually sits when I scroll through - I'm constantly unlocking the app instead of switching to it.
But I'll get used to it, I guess.

I don't lock chat apps, and if I am closing recents, I just close them all using the "Close All" button anyway so that doesn't really bother me, just took a bit of time to get used to swiping side to side instead of up and down to scroll through them, but while I was running one of the beta's of Pie the close all button was missing so I got used to swiping up to close them anyway, like you say you adjust over time

That's my problem. Swiping up and down seems normal and about half the time I swipe up and close the app window. I believe someone suggested it and it got the standard canned response.

Can say the same here, feels sluggish. I updated it to Pie after hearing great stuff from others.
I'll see if clearing app data of most apps makes any difference.
On the official beta I'm not seeing any sluggishness at all but I do see others on it complaining about it.
title says it all.
weather only updates in the widget, when i click on the weather directly and it opens in the weather app.
then it gets outdated again until i repeat.
it never updates automatically in the at a glance widget from google.
tried the beta, cleared cache. placed the specific google weather widget also on the homescreen, nothing helps.
any ideas?
thanks guys!!

for the google app?
worked like a charm from the beginning for months and just stopped working like weeks ago (but i dont know if it came with an os update)
I wish I knew what to suggest besides starting from scratch. Mine on my home screen updates fine by itself. Have you checked in the Play Store to see if you're enrolled in the Beta and might've forgotten? I'm not on the Beta and I'm currently on version 13.18.7.29.arm64.

It's probably something with that version, then, since I too am on stable but yet the older 13.18.7.29.arm64. I just manually checked for all updated apps and I'm still on this version. Hopefully, they'll release a stabler Stable version soon for you.
And hopefully, that truly is the cause.
Did you try rebooting?
You on the Android 13 beta? Or was it a different beta that you had tried? I am on the Android 13 beta and have been having the same issue since I updated to the latest beta build earlier this month. Granted, I always update beta builds ASAP and so perhaps this issue is occuring due to me disabling verity and verification this time around
I am also experiencing the same issue with the May update and Google app version 13.19.7.29. Battery optimization is disabled for the Google app and Play Services. I updated the Google app around the same time I installed the May update, so one of those two updates seems to be the issue in my experience.

That's the version of the Google app I'm on, while on the May update. I'm on the May 1, 2022 Play System update, as well. My At a Glance is updating automatically fine (using Nova Launcher Prime).

I'm using the stock Pixel Launcher. At a Glance updates fine with upcoming calendar events, status of connected Bluetooth devices, etc. Weather just refuses to update on its own, and eventually disappears if I don't update it manually for a while.
One thing I forgot to mention in my previous post: I also began using LSPosed and AOSP Mods around the time I installed the May update. AOSP Mods hooks into the Pixel Launcher, which makes me wonder if it could be part of the issue.

Could be. I use AOSP Mods also (but with Nova, not the Pixel Launcher). Temporarily disable AOSP Mods, reboot, and test it for a while.
