Hey guys, I have a rooted Z1 Compact running Official Xpeira ROM 4.4.4 (Build number 14.4.A.0.157),, and I reccived Offical update to 5.0 Lolipop (14.5.A.0.242) .
When I try update the device fails and show me that picture
Is there a solution to the problem of note that I've tried removing the Root, but it did not work. Thanks a lot!

Somehow my 2013 Nexus 7 w/ LTE got skipped on updates. It is still running 4.4.4. This is even after a device reset recently, which I thought may "kick" the update to occur. It is not rooted or running any custom ROMs. So I will just need to do this on my own. I bought the device directly from Google and had it on the Verizon network for the last year or two, if that means anything.
So now I am looking to manually update it to 5.1 and beyond.
1) Will I be able to go directly from 4.4.4 to the most recently 5.1 release (I saw something with a Stagefright fix was recently release by Google), or will I need to go from 4.4.4 to 5.0 to 5.1?
2) Should the directions to install the releases be similar to those I frequently see that explain how to install a new update before Google OTA's it?

Guys can the newest version of android be rooted?or can it be returned to lollipop so I can then root it? I rooted one successfully on lollipop but it was one with series # of boot loader issue so I got it warranted but new one had MM on it.

If I downgradee my note 5 from 6.0.1 to 5.1.1 by dowmloading system software online makes my phone rooted ? Or turn my device status into unofficial ?
I'm mot happy with 6.0.1 and want to downgrade but dont want to root my phone and change it's official status.
