How to port ffu of a Lumia to other? - Windows 10 Mobile

First of all, I wanted to mention that I do not want to port to unsupported devices like android devices.
I wanted to port the .ffu of the build 10240 (Windows 10 Mobile) for Lumia 930 (RM-1087) to my lumia 820 (rm-825) because I want to again use the project astoria and I have not found a ffu of this type for my cell phone.
I have .ffu of windows phone 8.1 for lumia 820 and I also have the ffu of the build 10240 of lumia 930.
Is there any method of port?
Can I install .ffu the lumia 930 without any modification?

You must be a Microsoft developer to do that. It requires a lot of knowledgment to "port" a FFU to another device. Remember Microsoft last one year to conclude a stable Windows 10 Mobile ROM from Windows Phone.

But it has no way to edit a .ffu? I have WP Internals and WPID (converts .ffu to a .vhd, I think it is)

At this time, it's the only way, but as I said, hard.

[Q] Custom Rom

Is there or will be any custom rom with wp8 for lumia 900 ;
I would highly doubt it, even if bootloader unlocking is realized. WP8 would require writing a new bootloader (UEFI) & possibly new drivers, so it's at least the same effort as porting Android - in fact, even harder, as there is no source code.
I don't really think that technical issue is the main problem (HTC HD2 is an example, it can run many mobile OS). I think the biggest issue is the "extremely dangerous" bootloader of Nokia. No one can hack it (Lumia 710 is jailbroken just because Qualcomn bootloader (for developers) - NOT Nokia DLOAD (the name of Nokia bootloader) - was revealed)

I think that nothing is unhacked ..... they have hacked everything untill now , a dload can stop hacker minds ?
in my opinion , untill summer , we all have wp8 in our nokia 900 ... cause its a perfect phone and will be shame not to have a wp8 device
and its worst for those who give 600-800 euros ( thats the price in Greece from September to January ) .....

Is there any way to downgrade to a previous build of windows 10 mobile?

I have a Lumia 540 and I wanted to run Android apps on my phone, so i followed the instructions on this thread, because apparently my phone is not (yet) supported by Project Astoria.
In the middle of the instructions, when i tried upgrading to windows 10 (either in the slow or the fast ring), i got the 10586 build whereas i was looking for 10536 or 10166. On continuing, as usual, i got an error code = 14. I want to know whether there's a way using which we can downgrade to the previous builds of windows 10 mobile.
Downgrade for L540 is not possible for now as we need previous build package for the process.
Of course

Is it possible for Lumia 625; do you have its previous build packages?
it's impossible, I've seen only old packages for lumia 930 and lumia 640 but not for lumia 540 or 625.

Lumia 550 update

Hello ! Any way to get my Lumia 550 straight to FCU starting from 10586.494? I mean skipping the two steps in the middle (AU and CU). There could be a way using Over the Cable Updater or is there the firmware itself somewhere in the web which I can flash?

Windows 10 Mobile has no planned feature updates past FCU. The latest build should be 15254. Last I checked, the Lumia 550 continues to be supported thru the end of this year. In April, all users running build 15063 were bumped to 15063.1029. My Lumia 830 received that update (despite being shut out of the feature2 branch). You should check for that update first. It would be best to avoid that update on a metered connection.

Yes I know that. I was looking for a way to avoid to get through the annoying process of update from the old November Update (because I had to recover my Lumia with WDRT) and jump straight to FCU. So flashing some FCU firmware or other ways...

There is no way unless you would have someone to dump a custom ROM supporting your device from the 550 somewhere at like version 15063.297 at least or another later supported version if possible. You could always attempt to dump one your self in the event you have to completely Reset with WDRT on that device in the future. But that is up to you...You would need to read up on the Window Phone internals tool and create a custom rom that way.
edit: Actually I just looked and seems certain variants of the 550 have FW revisions all the way up to OS 10.0.10586.494. If you want further than that a custom rom is the only option.
