Hi, I usually have my OP3 connected via aux in my car, but when I make/recieve a call people doesn't hear me unless I turn on the internal speaker. Is this happening to you or only me? It should happen with any jack without microphone connected to the OP3.
Uppp please!
Well I found out the problem is the echo, people hear me but also hear themselves. So I guess there's no echo cancellation for OP3 on calls?? Please help!!

Hi guys,
Is it possible to have the phone ringing from the external speaker instead of the headset when the handsfree is plugged in?
Cheers
Anyone? There must be a way.
Searched everywhere but nothing helpful... Someone??
mine rings from the headset & The external speaker !!!
wish to disable the external speaker when headset is pluged in though ...
The 'Fix' could be ROM dependant, im not sure but one ROM might use both speaker and earphone, another might use just speaker
What ROMs are you guys running??
Stock ROM here
The ear speaker stopped working a few days ago, whenever I make or get a call, no sound whatsoever comes from the phone. I've had the phone for five months, and didn't drop it, so I'm not sure why this occurred. I tried resetting the phone, flashing the RUU, and installed a custom ROM. Nothing worked, so it's most likely a hardware issue. I tried putting the headphones on and off, but it didn't work. The external speaker + headphones are working just fine.
Are there any alternative solutions other than sending it for repair? Also, does anyone know how much would it cost to fix it?
Thanks.
any help please?

Same problem for me, it stated by low volume from the ear speaker during some calls, then i lost the ear speaker sound during the call, even that the ear speaker works with the loudspeaker when i switch to loud, and it gives the sound of the tone while dialing, but no sound in the call. I tried to use other ROMs and radios. but same problem.
Any help please
I got the same issue going on... you figure anything out?
(also i didnt check the date on this thread before posting sorry if this is really old ha)
Hi everyone ? Has anyone encountered any sound related problems when disconnecting for a bluetooth device ? When I am disconnect from either my Jabra bluetooth ear piece of my bluetooth car handsfree buddy I end up having no sound at all on my phone. Pressing the keypad and no sound, someone calls me, the phone vibrates but the other side cant hear me, that's until I give my phone a restart. Any help please ?
When I make calls with speaker on, I can hear the other person but they can't hear me. Just started doing this. Also, Bluetooth speaker has also stopped working, any ideas...?

I had the same problem with the speaker on and no one being able to hear me. Turned out to be a defective phone in my case. Apparently there must be a different mic used for speakerphone calls vs regular calls. Since you also have a bluetooth issue, maybe your problem is different than mine.
just tried hard reset and its still the same, will have to send it back under warranty, major hassle
Flashed 10g again, microphone now works
Since v20h update i cant seem to take incoming/outgoing calls because the audio jack logo is constantly on at the notification area.
Nothing is actually connected to the audio jack.
I can only hear the audio through speaker.
Can anyone help please?
