Hi i have the oxygen OS 3.1.2 when i leave ny night mode on all night on charge i have another problem it will stay warm after turning off the night mode have to restart the ohone to make it normal again
its because you charge it whole night. It takes 45 minutes to charge the full phone and after that you dont need to plug it in.Before i sleep i charge to 100 percent and after night it uses only 3 to 4 percent of my battery This phone charges so fast you really dont need to plug it in for the whole night.Try my way.

with the phone left switched on i put it on charge last night at around 10.30pm
got up at 5.15 this morning to see the green light on
when i went in to battery info to check it said the following
full charged at 00.50monday 06 july
stand by time 4 hrs 15 mins
device usage 13 mins
how can this be
i was in bed so didnt use the device
and why is it saying fully charged at 00.50
with the charger still in and power switched on does this mean it does not take any charge once the light is green
hoping this may solve my battery problem as im on my 2nd TP2 and the battery lasted less than 18 hrs use yeaterday with about 15 mins of use
thanks for any help

k first of all, it's not a good idea to charge it overnight like that. take it from me, when I first got my Tilt (which was my first phone that used a Li-ion battery) I would charge it overnight all the time so that I would have 100% in the morning. but I noticed that the overall battery life slowly began to decrease the more I charged it till the status light was green. I ended up going the warranty path and had a brand new one sent to me, and ever since then I've monitored my charging, making sure that it didn't charge to the full 100%, and it's been fine.
It could also have been that specific battery. I always charge my phone overnight, and nothing goes wrong.
Here are my observations.
1) While charging with the phone power off. I notice I won't get a full charge (95% show when I have my phone on) Then the power will drop very rapidly. 4 hours standby and i am on 90%
2) Charging with the phone On, by in sleep mode. Same issue. Green light on and my phone show around 98%, and after 4 hours of use. drop to around 90% ish.
3) Method 1 or 2, Then i unplug the USB and plug in again. Phone will charge for around 10min. Battery indicator show 100% full charge. I manage to use the phone for:
- 58 hours standby
- 2 hours of talk time
- 5 hours of device operation
The device configuration is the same. Programs are install the same.
Anyone having the same issue?
I noticed with mine if i plug it in at night when i sleep it will charge fully then die while charged. Example. i will charge it from like 5% then ill wake up at like 4 am and see its 100% but ill leave it plugged in then in the morning when i get up it will be between 89%-95%.
You are using the battery patch. But it isn't fully accurate so it's hard to make any conclusions
My 2nd test result.
With the method of just leaving the phone charge overnight and unplug in the morning without topping the battery back to 100%. the result is
Standby: 41 hours and 40 min
Talk Time: 42min
Device Usage: 3 hours and 36min
Let me charge it again tonight and top up to 100% in the morning before i use the device. see if the usage time be better.
What I have noticed is that after the phone reaches 100% it stops using mains power and switches to battery.
So if I plug it in at 10pm, and it reaches 100% by say midnight. It will be running off battery from midnight, so when I wake up it is often down to 90-95%. The charge light still shows green.
This is backed up by the info in power section of the settings, which shows the "last full charged reached" or similar section.
So in summary, even if it is still plugged into the wall, after hitting 100% it will switch to battery (even though the phone indicates charging).
Anyone got a solution for this?
Last full charge was on 8th August. 3G ON 24/7 for Push E-mails
Standby time - 30hrs and 6mins
Device Usage - 3hours and 11mins
and I still have 60% battery left.

Jeez, mine wont last more than 8 hours with gprs and push email..
Does anybody elses TP2 switch to battery power once 100% charge is reached?
And anyway we can fix this?
Very annoying to wake up to a phone at 90% charge even thought it is plugged into the wall.
ok, over the last week or so ive had this issue, gradually getting worse...
my battery will charge to around 40-45% and then charging will slow right down.
two hours later, it will be on around 50% if im lucky, and about 3 more further hours before i hit 60% (this is some of the time, other times, it just remains on its current charge%)
if i leave it overnight for about 10hours or so, highest it goes to now is about 73%, but this is rare, usually 45-50%ish.
ive tested with htc ac wall charger, htc usb, blackberry charger, car charger and a random microusb wallcharger. all have same issue.
when tested with two friends desire hd's on different days, my battery charged perfectly, and at the normal gradient speed over the % range. and my phone reads it correctly at the 100%-98% when back in my phone after change back.
i thought it was down to my phone, just dont know if its rom or hardware. shud i factory restore, or claim on insurance?
i have another issue here...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18480603&posted=1#post18480603
which also applies to the question of restore or insurance...
thanks
What Rom are you using, i am using runny 2.2 only 62% charge in 6 hours
9 hours later on battery only upto 68% i have amazing battery life now
i'm using runny 2.2.....left it on charge for 2 hours with phone on, but wifi and everything off and it had only gone up 2% ! !
Turned phone off and plugged in charger, 30 mins later, only went up 1% ! !
72% charge at this point.
So took it off charge, put it in my pocket, went upstairs to bed, turned it on to set alarm and it said 100% on battery....weird!!
matt
Lol this is an issue with calibration. The battery is charging but the software doesnt report it.
You have to charge the phone for as long as possible so you know it is on 100% whether the software says it or not, go into CWM, wipe the battery stats and then let the battery drain fully until it shuts down by itself. Then plug it in and leave it until you know for certain it is at 100%. If the green light comes on leave it for an additional half an hour. Then it will be fixed.
ive only recently got this handset, as last one was replaced on insurance a month or so ago, and its runuing on stock rom with latest updates....?
Hello XDA. So, my phone's battery lasts only 4 hours if I don't use it. Last night I did the steps for reseting the battery stats (Ensured it was completely empty to 0%, charged it to 100% while it was off, powered it on, unpluged power cable, dropped immediately to 97%, plugged back in, let it charge for another 2 hours to be shure it was 100%, deleted battery stats file and unplugged the cable), and today it's still the same... Bonus to this problem, it comes another one. If the phone is on WCDMA/GSM(Auto), when it drops under 75% the signal drops too. If I switch it to GSM only, it's ok untill 30% max. Bellow that, if I try to make a call, phone app freezes and the phone shuts down. I have official 4.4.2 rooted on N7105 LTE 4G. What should I do..? Thanks in advance.
Hello,
For those with fast battery discharge problem, could make me doubt.
My ZF2 was also very fast draining the battery by about 20% in less than an hour with low use ... then did a test.
Let the battery becomes zero and put to press so super economy, when he got 100% left in the same way for about 1 hour and went back to normal mode.
Now after five hours, I have 88% battery, scoring 1 day and 7 hours left !!
Whenever you put the phone in normal mode, and leave this mode to load in 30 minutes consumes about 20%!

Hello.
First q: So you do this every time you charge your phone?
Second: The phone is charging continusly so regarsles of the drain it should not be a problem until you unplug it. Sorry i give it a try but i don t understand.

Always i carry it in super economy mode, after disconnecting it from the outlet, I let the super economy mode about an hour. then return to normal mode. I realized that by doing so, the battery lasts much longer. I think the trick is to leave the cell phone in economy mode super sometime after take unplugged.
Sorry .... I'm using google translator kkk
