Hello Guys
i recently got my new OP3 and its awesome... But since a few days my battery percentage drops rapidly overnight!
Wifi, Sync on, Fb, Whatsapp installed.
At first my battery dropped ~0.5 - 0.7% /h
now its at 1,4 and still going up...
I attached you the Battery info from bbs and gsam.
As you see i nearly got no wakelocks, but the battery drains... and in gsam it shows android system as the top sucker... where do i get the info, which process or programm uses my battery, while i sleep?
Thank you very much!

"ambient display prox sensor usage" only applies if you use the Ambient Display to begin with, do you?
you don't need root for Greenify's Aggressive Doze, and you can run a few ADB commands to enable "Doze on the Go" which disables the motion sensing aspect of Android's Doze
What are the adb commands?

I have been having these kinds of battery graphs since very long time. Using stock oos 4.0.3 without root and have locked bootloader.
I tried cleading data of google play & service' apps and even cleared cache from recovery. Disabled the hibernation feature in battery settings and enabled doze from developer options. This made no effect. So switched back to default settings again.

Phone doesn't doze' properly. It stays awake even when am not using it and drains battery a lot. I have seen phone getting warm several times even when it's just lying. SOT is very poor considering i have not changed my usage scenario and have given a lot of time for the OS to settle properly as well..
Here's another screenshot just after i woke up. Phone was chraged upto 98% when i went to sleep and it came down to 65%

Your phone is awake most of the time. Install BBS from its thread in XDA, learn how to produce idle logs in BBS and post one in the BBS thread.
Mind you, on Nougat, there is not much option for controlling alarms/wakelocks except using Greenify and MyAndroidTools. No Xposed and so no Amplify.

Yes i have enabled the aggressive doze and about the facebook draining, i think it is not from facebook because i rarely use it and it appears rarely in battery stats.
Here are some screenshots from BBS:
Custom one is when in the evening i had set the custom ref. after clearing all recent tasks. Check these if get something from these. I don't see any deep sleep stats any given time

You need to get an idle dump of at least 6 hours along with screenshots of the battery and battery history page of Settings. These screenshots are not going to help anyone to analyze your issue.

I had this problem, but it was the android system in my case not the android OS. I wiped the cache and drained my phone to 0% then charged it untill full.
The problem is gone. But still my battery life isn't great.
I think restricting background activity and putting loads all the apps to sleep should help ?
I have already putted some apps to sleep since I got the update, especially google, because it was crashing constantly.... Try it, it may help.
I put all my apps to sleep and enabled auto-brightness and here's the result (S9 Exynos)

Android's battery usage is not showing everything that's why I told you to use gsam monitor
With gsam we could see what is exactly in the "system" causing it to drain battery.
What's app seems to use a lot of battery.
What is your screen brightness level?

Hey guys have been having pretty bad battery drain from my new S20 4g Exynos. My old S9+ has better battery life than this.
I have installed GSam and it seems apps are using ~95% of my battery in basically 100% standby. The largest is com.samsung.android.app.aodservice which is the always on display. I have already turned off all AoD services as well as the fingerprint icon when screen is off. Despite doing all this I can still put my finger on the screen after the phone has been locked and it unlocks with my fingerprint. Is there another setting I am missing to turn off, is it even configurable? Or am I having some sort of glitch?
9GAG as well was using lots of battery even if I had it in deep sleep and never even opened it after a reboot, so I have uninstalled that for now.
Looks like a glitch, either disable the service or wipe the phone.
I'm assuming the battery usage is the glitch you are referring to. If I disable the service and re-enable would that fix it you think? Our I would need to reset? I spent like a week getting this all setup already.
Also for the unlock without turning the screen on or waking, is that normal behaviour for everyone else or is it a setting/glitch?

Consider setting GSam to record battery usage since full charged instead since last unpluged it's better.Because you get real usage and screen on time for only that 100% of battery.

Do you have AoD enabled though? I have everything turned off and it is still chugging my battery
Package Disabler Pro, disable the service, no root needed either
So as an updated I disabled all AoD things with CCWSE and AoD is still chewing battery in the background as well as CCWSE now.... sigh

That is bizarre. Re-enable AOD in CCSWE, then use CCSWE to wipe AOD data (tap AOD icon, look at bottom of screen and tap "Wipe data") and disable AOD again. Restart phone and leave it alone for a few minutes to let GSam battery collect data. Open GSam battery, tap the triangle/delta icon at the bottom of screen, choose "Since screen off" and see if AOD/CCSWE is still consuming battery.
So I did a factory reset and same thing happening even, without installing anything but GSAM and giving it permission. Turning off all AoD options didn't do anything. However when enabling power saving and ticking the option to turn off AoD it seems to be dropping the battery use from the service like crazy. Will need a few days of testing to see if this can fix the problem. However leaving in battery saving means I can't enjoy anything above 60hz refresh.
I noticed AOD consuming more battery following ADT1 update. I've never used AOD and it was always low on the GSam battery monitor list. But now it is #4 on the list, using 4% battery even when "disabled".

Main AOD service can not be disabled. There is no option to disable. This problem is related to fingerprint tracker while the phone is in standby. It's always on because you maybe need to unlock the phone any time. If you disable online fingerprint scanner (com.samsung.android.app.aodservice) then you loose fingerprint scanner while the phone is in standbye. So you should first wake on your phone from standby (by double tab the screen or push the power key) then put your finger on fingerprint scanner.
To disable AOD, Just Enable USB debugging mode then enter command:
adb shell pm disable-user com.samsung.android.app.aodservice
note: If you got successful you should receive (Package com.samsung.android.app.aodservice new state: disabled-user)
That's all.

i will try to simplify it to you :
you will have to full charge your phone to 100% before going to sleep and just remove it from the charger just before sleeping and once you weak up go to battery usage and you can tell immediately what is draining your battery
you can also that ram boost is turned on
and turn off always on ambient display
hope this helps
Good idea thank you.
Ram boost is on
I wiil try to turn off Aod.
Have you got AOD enabled? I was getting the same usage with it enabled, turned it off cos it doesn't make that much of a difference.
Install betterbatterystats, give it required permissions via ADB and check what apps keep waking the phone up during night when you wake up. I see you are using telegram, I've seen someone having problems with it in terms of battery drain, try to set telegram to optimize battery drain (not intelligent), see if that helps.

Ditch Whatscrap, FB, and such malware apps.
Turn off all power management as it causes all kinds of issues.
Cloud apps are bandwidth and battery horrors.
Goggle Firebase, disable as well as Transport.
Playstore disable until needed.
Google Play Services is a known battery hog, I keep it disabled 99% of the time.
On my Note 10+ SOT usage is about 9%@ hour browsing on Brave.
Less than 1%@hr with AOD always on.
Less than .5%@hr sleeping with AOD touch to view.
I'm running Pie on a stock AT&T N10+ using a package blocker and Karma Firewall to lock it down. It's heavily reconfigured.
It was a twitchy, hot running bandwidth eating battery hog.
Now it's a very stable, fast, cooling running dream device...
hell yeah

My battery drains around 1.5% per hour even after turning off AOD and wake screen for notifications setting. When those settings were on, it was draining 3-4% per hour. Has anyone else noticed the same? Any suggestions to improve the standby drain?
Are these numbers with WiFi and mobile data on? Airplane mode off?
Wifi on. Data off. Airplane mode off.
I'm using a different ROM but I've experienced similar numbers. It's obviously better with WiFi off but that's possibly not the point

Will check tonight
under the battery or 3rd party like accubattery should show you what's draining it , Im on the EU weekly and have no such problems
You could try a Custom Kernel like Nexus Kernel
NotZeetaa, the dev behind Nexus Kernel also made a Magisk Module "BatterySaverMod v1.2" that can be found in the Nexus Telegram Group, which limits performance a little bit but reduces Power-consumption for active drain.
You could check with Activity Launcher from Play Store, if the settings-page "Running Services" still exists but may just be unlinked from Settings-GUI.
For me 5g stopped work since 13.0.7
I'm also experience battery drain in 13.0.9 and occasionally network failures. Many times calls ended and receive the message "network not availabe". I've done a factory reset. Will have to do it again
Till this rom have everything work perfectly
I used better battery stats and it showed that wifi had a lot of wakelocks and was preventing the phone from entering deep sleep. I turned off wifi and standby drain went to around 0.5% per hour. I think voice over wifi is the culprit here. I will observe the drain tonight with VoWifi off.

5g is pretty much useless anyway unless youre downloading very large files. It uses a lot of battery and makes the phone warm as well. I would suggest setting the preferred network type to 4g as it is more than enough for everyday use and saves battery as well.
You guys could use "Naptime" from Play Store. It supports ADB or Root.
