Hello,I have Microsoft Lumia 640 Dual Sim and I joined insider program and installed Windows 10 version 10.0.10586.11 (latest one)...my question is when Microsoft relases final update for everybody will I be forced to go back on Windows 8.1 and then update to Windows 10 retail version or I can do that straight from my Win 10 preeview v 10.0.10586.11?
Thanks!
Build 10586 will probably be the RTM for W10M and you will keep receiving Insider update as long as you dont quit the program. And you dont need to roll back to WP 8.1 for the update.
I have installed the redstone build 14393.5 on my Lumia 928 within the MicrosoftMDG Lumia 635 registry keys for modification. I wish to know if my device would get a boot-loop, so that could it flash it back in time, and please let me know if other Lumia 928 users are running this new version smoothly. By the time my this version is running better than the latest 10586 version, way better.
since the 928 is just a relabled 920 -> should work fine
Hello,
is it still possible to upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile 10586.494 on a Nokia Lumia 520? I know Redstone is not going to work, but is Threshold2 possible? At the moment I am running Windows Phone 8.1 Update with Lumia Cyan, and I can't find the Denim update via phone update?

As far as I know, Microsoft stops providing Theshold2 to unsupported devices from now on
Yes, they replaced TH2 builds in the Release Preview ring with RS1 builds, but is there another Insider ring, which does still have TH2 builds? If so, I can change DeviceTargetingInfo to Lumia 830 for example.
The only way for now is using Custom ROMs
yea there is the "production" ring which is what you are on when you have the insider thing off, for that to work you would have to edit the targetinfo to a supported phone and get upgrade advisor, they will still give you 10586 using that route
does someone have the recovery image Windows 8.0 RT for the Nokia lumia 2520?
I am particularly looking for RT 8.0, not 8.1.
thanks
I have a nokia lumia 830 and I was wondering if anyone knows where to get a .FFU file for W10M compatible with this phone? lumiafirmware.com only has a .FFU for Windows 8.1 Mobile.
