Does anyone know if there is any app or setting available where I can set my phone on silent/vibrate and only have notifications come through for one app?

[Q] Vibrate Issues?

I rooted my slide 2 days ago and put CyanogenMod7.1 on it and it's running great except now my phone doesn't vibrate when I get calls or notifications. My girlfriend has a G2 (running the Gingerbread update, not rooted) - and hers hasn't vibrated since she's gotten the phone. Is there a reason why its doing this or how to fix it?
You didn't mention if you did or not, so I have to ask - are the settings set to have it vibrate on notifications?
Check your Sound settings - there is a setting about vibrating there. You can have it always vibrate, never vibrate, only in silent mode, or only when not in silent mode.
Also, there are notification settings for different apps. For example, in the Messaging App's Settings you can tell it to vibrate or not. Also, you can have different notification settings for the Gmail app.

help, lightflow + go sms...not getting led sms notifications :(

I've been using lightflow since I got my galaxy nexus. I like the ability to use different colors for different app notifications. Well I installed go SMS because I like the different skins and ways you can customize it. I guess lightflow doesn't support this app, but go sms has in app notification LED settings. However they don't seem to work, they've worked on phones I've owned in the past. I'm guessing lightflow is blocking it. Does anyone know any way around this? Is there a similar texting app that has customization that works with lightflow?
Did you try checking the boxes within light flow, notifications , sms for alternate on/off monitoring?
Do u have enable led in go SMS settings?

This was confusing because light flow says to disable notifications in go sms if you want notifications to work. But when I did that I got no notifications at all. I tried all combinations of alternate on/off and no luck.
After trying all combinations of settings, this is how I eventually got it to work:
In Go SMS I have notifications set to on and have the LED set to green.
In light flow I have the sms notifications set to on, alternate on checked, and alternate off checked, and the LED set to green.
I restarted the phone several times before this worked.
Hopefully this will help anyone else who has this problem in the future :good:

Notification vibrations

Does anyone know why the custom vibration or any vibration setting I set in options don't work for gmail notifications? I set 3 short vibrates, but gmail still vibrates one long one.
I have set custom vibrates in-app for the others that matter-- whatsapp and gosms, but I can't seem to customize the gmail one properly.
I would like to figure out how to change the one long vibrate for default notifications too. I believe the custom pattern you're referring to in the settings only applies to phone calls, not notifications. I wish there was a separate setting for notification vibrations. So changing this may require root if there's not a custom app wrote for this.

Customise vibrate settings?

Is there any way to customize notification vibration settings - either turn them down, or off altogether?
I understand you can set individual app settings but ideally I want to get rid of vibrations completely - I've never liked them, and even when I think I've changed all my app settings every so often a notification pops up with a vibrate!
Is there an app or a ROM that can entirely disable vibration?
Cheers

Notification reminder

Is it possible to configure the edge light up for notifications reminder like how new notification is received? Currently seem like can only configure sound and vibration.

There's a app in the Play store. Search Note 10 Notifications, you'll find it. Make sure you go through the app settings to configure it.
