At least it seems there is a good demand for the devices.

For Greece it seems that they already halted, at least this is what i read in forums
Sent from my OP3

Also in Austria it's halted since 2 days now. I was bored and thought, I buy one. But I don't think, this was a wise decision, since Google will reveal their next Nexus in early October. Just saying.

They are selling them faster than they can make them, so at present it makes no difference to them when the next Nexus is released, it is not like they are struggling with sales.

Only case for the Galaxy Nexus (at the moment) is the Barely There. Offer is only good until tonight. Thought I'd like to share this.

You can find various reviews for this case on threads in the accessories forums but I'm sure some of us have more than one device so the deal could be pretty good for some of you.
"Compatible with the Verizon (CDMA) version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Not compatible with the global (GSM) Samsung Galaxy Nexus model."
haha this was just posted already out of stock, doesn't matter for me as I have a gsm version anyway

o.0 had no idea. Was still working when I tried it out, that was a quick 5000 buyers.
Was going to post it earlier as I saw it but XDA was down for SOPA.

RIM done for?

Saw this infographic this morning by http://www.firmex.com on the future of RIM and found it to be pretty interesting/relevant to this forum. Any opinions on who you might think acquire them (if anyone at all)? It would be pretty awesome to get enterprise security added to Sammy phones (however unlikely that may be).

Looking for the relevance part....maybe in the general Android forum?
I think RIM will probably move to a services oriented company.

Lol it's relevant in the sense that if Sammy picks up RIM it would impact the nature of Samsung devices. This applies to all the manufacturers but I personally own a GNEx so this is where i posted it

THIS is what I want to upgrade to! Galaxy S4 with Snapdragon 800

(Sorry for the weird URL title, but thats what they made it)
Please come to Sprint, please come to Sprint, please come to Sprint
Pretty sure they said CDMA devices will be released a month after ATT & T-Mo (GSM)

I wonder if Sprint and the other carriers would release this considering the GS5 will be out not too later, assuming the updated S4 becomes available for purchase near the end of the year.

Did they ever wind up selling the S2 Plus?

Durovis Dive Virtual Reality Headset - So Cheap!

Hey guys, I was looking into getting myself an Oculus Rift but figured the wait is just too long since it seems the final product wouldn't be available till 2015. So in my search I came across this http://www.durovis.com/index.html/
According to this you can place your phone as the actual screen and a good VR experience coupled with their Apps on the play store. And best of all its about 50euros with international shipping and for those who maybe interested its not that hard to DIY. If anyone has tried please share your experience as there aren't that many reviews on it. I might get it soon
I love the fact that all the important components are already built into the phone such as the gyroscope and the display itself. Let me know what you guys think.

More Holidays for XDA: Eid and more?

Oh, I just unlocked another achievement: Thanksgiving.
I thought: Huh? Wait, what? So I found this list:

Yay! Thank you! And trust me, I envy you folks in NA - here (EU) one cannot get some decent pecan pie unless you bake it yourself!
Speaking of food, I think one holiday is missing: Eid (or EId-al-Fitr in long), the "party" after Ramadan. I am no muslim but I think that's an important date. Imagine the feast after a month-long fasting.
Perhaps this is just my stomach talking here because my colleagues usually bring such nice food but still...
Thinking hard to find other holidays... Diwali perhaps, too, but at least in Europe I never saw it. Oh wait, and definitely Nowruz, Persian New Year but that might be the same date like Chinese New Year (not sure).
PS: Generally I'd say: Every day should be holiday, right?
