Hi lucky note owners,
I like the translation function that is available after putting the stylus out of the note. Is this function working without the stylus and possible to start when the stylus still sticks in the note. Thanks

I have the Samsung Slate 7 w/ 3G .. the one from the developer conference with windows 8 (loving it BTW.) Wondering if the bluetooth keyboard that comes with the Slate would also work with Android .. That would be a plus but if the handwriting recognition is good then there won't be many occasions that I would need a keyboard .. still curious.

logitech keyboard : http://www.logitech.com/en-ca/tablet-accessories/keyboards/tablet-keyboard-android
But I'm almost sure you mean something with a battery / usb / sd card reader. Unfortunately I don't have an answer for your question. I really hope someone come out with a similar keyboard

I bought this and ended up returning it. It behaved strange for me. While typing on it the secondary keys when holding down a letter would randomly show up. It would act at times as if I was holding a key down when I was not. I have an apple bluetooth keyboard as well and do not have the same issues with it. I guess it is possible that it was a faulty unit.
Hi , I bought the s4 mini I9195 about a month ago and I have a little question
Is it possible to install the smart scroll on the mini device in any way?
Thanks
No.
The Galaxy S4 Mini does not have all the features of the large S4, because it partially lacks appropriate sensors that would drive the cost up. Not on board include the functions of the eye control 'Smart Pause "and" Smart Scroll ".
Ok thanks! Another question for you if you mind, thesmart stay function is a camera thats detects you or ita just a sesnor that recognize eyes
thanks,Dan
It's a eyes sensor

Ok thanks for your help!
I'd like to disable the hand-touchscreen when I'm using the s-pen.
Is it possibile?
P.S.: I'm rooted
I also wanted to do this (make the handwriting pad default) and was told my Samsung customer support that it was not possible.
good feature

Yeah, I was just thinking about this yesterday.it would be nice if there was a Google in the notifications panel where we can just disable touch control totally and just let the pen do the job.it will be excellent for sketching.

Do you have pointer option in SPen settings turned on? When it's on and S Pen is close to screen(when you can see the pointer) hand control is turned off.

It's not enought for me. I don't want hand touch disabled only when S-Pen is near the screen, I want hand touch disabled even when S-Pen is far, so I can use Note as more similar than a real paper sheet.

S Notes and Ez pdf (several other apps do this as well) both have palm rejection which it basically what you want. Your hand will only work at the very top edge and bottom edge of the screen. You cannot enable this on the system as a whole though.

use GMD S Pen control. It has a gesture that disables finger input system wide though I map my Own gesture to the action. This even disables the capacitive buttons until you re-enable touch. CHEERS

I set gestures multiple times to ensure recognition. When using gmd gesture control I have tusker set to pause the gestures when I remove the spen so. they don't interfere with it. I'll make a thread on my setup

I can't find the command you've used. Where is it?

when selecting the action to configure to a gesture select actions: Samsung Note actions: Disable touch input

Strange your ROM must not support it. I am running the ML1 and it's there so you should flash that. I also had it on the American MK1 SO You Could try that or Clean Rom as well.

Just FYI
The surface pro stylus works for our tablet. The button works to bring up air command and the top serves as an eraser (so you don't have to tap on the erase icon) it's nifty.
It's also a lot larger and easier to write with.

According to this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2484014 thread, there is an offset when the pen is held at an angle. Different users may or may not care about this but if you are drawing with it, even a small offset is infuriating. I would love a bigger pen size and weight stylus but I haven't seen any reports of one that actually works accurately at an angle and I wouldn't be able to tolerate even a small offset but other people may not be bothered about that.

Worst case scenario: broken s-pen digitizer. Best case scenario: software bug.
Did it always behave this way? Have you tried using different s-pens?
No it was fine since 2 weeks back it started like this. I tried other s-pen its working perfect and this s pen in that cell...messes up that too. But if its broken how did it happen? My cell never fell...so as s pen.

I spilled coffee on my note 3 and the phone didn't seem to break, but I just noticed that my s pen doesn't work at all. Any ideas on how to trouble shoot this? It doesn't even recognize that I remove it from the phone.

Check if the nib of the pen (the small white part at the end) can be pushed inside. If it can't be pushed, pull it out gently. There should always be some play in the nib to allow for pressure variations. Had the same problem. Worked like a charm for me.
