Need help:Note 5 stuck at ATT logo - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note5

Hi guys I need help with my ATT note 5, no root no changes done since I bought it. Phone ran out of charge so I charged the phone and restarted it, once phone comes to ATT logo its stuck there no matter what button combinations I do. I can get it repalced with ATT or samsung but there is data (Photos and Videos) that I want first retrieved. Does any one know if its possible to get out of that ATT logo or retrive data if im stuck at ATT logo.

This happened to me a few times since updating to MM. Hold down the volume up and the power button for 30 secs. it should restart.

Help! GN restarted itself and now stuck in boot loop

Hi guys,
I'm hoping someone can offer some advice.
I'm running a non-rooted, GSM, stock 4.0.1 Galaxy nexus. My phone restarted on its own and is now stuck in an infinite boot loop. I did several battery pulls to turn the phone off. Turning it on again, it gets stuck in the boot loop never reaching the homescreen.
Any ideas?
thanks in advance
Well you could grab an Odin flash file and reset your phone from download mode. When powering on the fone hold volume down and power.
Also could hold both volume buttons and power when turning on to go into fast boot mode where you could try flashing a stock image through fastboot from your pc
Android - making grown men pee sitting down since 2.0
How do I even get the files on the phone?

Get into a bootloader and factory reset your phone.
It was happening to my gn everytime I put it in my pocket. Why I don't know. I put my gn in perfectly working condition in my pocket and when I pulled it out wanting to, say, take a picture, it was looping.
Been to the store, called tech supp... nobody knows why.
That all stopped after I unlocked, rooted and flashed a custom rom. Not one crash ever since (10 days)
Thanks man. I just brought it back to the store and they replaced it.
anybody knows how to back up my pictures/movies. I got also the boot loop issue and I first want to secure my files before resetting... My GN is not rooted or modded whatsoever.

[Q] Unrooted phone stuck in Android System Recovery

Hello everyone,
My phone is NOT rooted. Earlier today it was stuck on the Samsung Screeen when I turned my phone on. I then used the power, camera, volume down button combo to bring me into recovery mode. Now everytime my phone turns on it stays in recovery mode. I can scroll up and down on my choices but there is not a key that I can press that will select a choice. Any ideas for how I can get my phone to work?
Screen I am stuckl on reads: "android system recovery <3e>
enter: OK key, Select : Vol UP/ Vol Down
reboot system now
apply update from SD cared
Wipe Data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
then theres an exclimation mark in a triangle with the android dude below that
#manual Mode#
If you don't care about existing app data, Odin would be a great choice. Either Odin-ing in a custom recovery or a fresh stock system would get you out of the situation.
Sent from Samsung Captivate Glide @ CM10.1.2
Sounds like you tried to do something and the phone didn't like it, hence you boot back into recovery on it's own.
Use Odin and reflash stock.
Much Thanks
Thank you very much for the responses, for some reason I was under the impression that your phone had to be rooted in order to use odin, much thanks!
I do not care about my personal files getting lost, but just out of pure curiosity, roughly, how would one accomplish that?
I'm try out odin now!
Back to my old problem! Any ideas?
So odin passed twice with all the stock software. Now I am back to my old problem that I had before I was stuck on the recovery screen (hardware issue? idk) When my phone boots up it stays on the samsung screen for 2 mins, then it lags like crazy on the 4g screen (sound and video), and it stays frozen at the Galaxy S screen (for over 6 mins). I need a working phone, luckily I am elgible for an upgrade, but really dont see the need to spend 250 to upgrade my phone or spend 100 for insurance to replace it!
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks again for all of your help so far

Well, first boot of flashing any custom or stock rom takes a bit to fully boot. If you're stuck at the Samsung or Galaxy S screens, then you should reflash. If you have tried that and still having the same issue, then try a few more times. I've read posts of people having constant boot loops on flashes and they finally got one flash to properly stick after many tries.
So odined again and again, this time my phone eventually did turn on but it literally took 30 mins. When it did turn on I had no network connection nor could I use my touchscreen, it eventually shut off. I'ma go get robbed at the sprint store in a bit lol.
End Thread
End Thread- I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. My god- this phone is amazing. Kinda bull**** that I got nothing for my old phone with full insurance when it seems like it was a hardware failure!
Can't wait to play with this beast of a phone tomorrow!

Phone can't complete flash or boot

Hello,
This past Monday my phone decided to BSOD and then start trying to boot again but got stuck in boot loop. I have tried using all the button combinations to get it into the boot menu with no success. I have however been able to access the Download boot sequence but for some reason cannot unroot or successfully flash the phone. My phone is paid off and barely 3-4 weeks out of warranty and both Samsung and T-mobile say I'm **** out of luck. I am making one last ditch effort to get this new paper weight working again and was seeking any possible ideas to help. The phone did do an update from T-mobile security update that went out ~2/4 and died while in the middle of a text message on 2/6.

Note 5 Edge SM-N915A overheating bootloop

Hi Guys, well obviously I'm new here. I was hoping someone could help me out in the mess I'm in. So here's what happened. I have here a Note 5 Edge AT&T variant that is currently stuck in a bootloop. It powers on for a minute or so, starts to heat up like crazy, shuts down and then boots up again. It stays like this even if I already did a factory reset/wipe cache, boot in safe mode and replaced the battery. So I tried to flash it via Odin from N915AUCU1BOC8 to N915AUCS2DPH7 (basically an upgrade) and I was successful! But the problem still persists! Now I no longer know what else to do.
Should I flash it to N915AUCU1ANK2 (KitKat)?? was it even safe to do so or possible at all?
PLEASE HELP!! :crying:

It immediately was acting funky and by the end of day - up until this moment it has been boootlooping i even fac reset and it isnstill bootlooping-brought to att and their hands are tied talk to lg or assurion (boy they really are jelpful there.....) anyone out there experiencing this because its my primary phone qnd as i sit typing this im on my old s8 qctive that is beat to **** but pulled the sim from my g8 and stuck it in here. Anyway it will get past the lg logo and start bootlooping at the att circle/emblem-every time until the battery dies. Hopefully i didnt break amy rules again i havent been on in awhile but this really is beyond frustrating my whole life in that phone and idk last time i backed it up but its been awhile. THANK YOUA to ANYONE that can help point me in righht direction. Also i forgot to mention non rooted completely stock.
So you've already held power and volume down at the same time with the phone on?
I am too having the same problem. Mine is a T-Mobile LG G8, stock non rooted, got updated last week and then acted funny(some apps crashed), I restarted it won't reststart; Stucked on some LG-G8 screen. I hard reset it (Vol Down-Power/LG Screen, release and then hold power button; and then hard reset), After that: it stuck on boot loop.
What I can try next?

When my update came through on T-Mobile it got stuck at the Tmo splash screen. Pressed the power and volume down until it turned black and let go. It rebooted normally after.

Hi guys, am just a newbie here from Malaysia and a new owner of a 2nd hand LG G8 ThinQ (LM-G820UM); no idea where it's from but got it already with Android 10 update.
'twas working perfectly fine for a few days, but suddenyl got stuck in bootloop after I reboot (Power + Volume Down buttons) the phone when I was trying to change to a different SIM card. It would remain in bootloop until the battery is drained.
I can connect it to my laptop and seems to be detected pretty good and able to switch to Download Mode, but can't re-flash with either Flash Tool or LGUP.
- Have tried to use different Flash Tool versions - in version 2014, the flashing will just stop at server error, in 2016 and 2025 versions it will require LGST login (apparently to connect to some server which require registration).
- same goes true for LGUP, both versions 1.14 and 1.16 (patched version) will just stop at 4% then the apps will close without any error or anything happening in the phone.
Appreciate any help to recover this phone which I paid for a few hundred dollars as I was impressed with the spec and was so delighted to a very good spec phone; then this happened.
Thanks!

I'm in the same boat but with ATT. LM-G820UM I believe. Completely stock software. I just had it sitting on the charging dock for a while and I came back to it and it was stuck in a bootloop. No idea what's caused it, but I can't seem to get it to stop for anything. This is one of the many reasons I find not having a removable battery deeply upsetting :/
okay will try that as soon as i can get this thing to boot normal again it now stuck on the lg g8s screen think i flashed the wrong abl_a and abl_b files
Has there been any progress in getting this fixed?
Other than flashing the entire stock kdz not sure what else can be done...
