I recently found the 'Security options' menu item in the mail client, it seems that one can use it to manage certificates for S/MIME.
However whenever I try to import my certificate from internal memory (.key, .cer and .p12 sitting there) I just get the following message: "No key files to import".
Were does the mail client expect the keys and in what format?
The keys and certificates (4096bit) where generated using openssl and work fine with Thunderbird.
I have already installed the CAs certificate, which worked without a problem.
I am currently running Omega 'ROM v7.4'.
Any help would be appreciated.
Only just realized that it is PGP, not S/MIME that is natively supported.

I have a really boring issue, I can't parameter any of my email (infomaniak, work-email, school-email) but gmail on my CM12.1 with my S4 mini I9195.
- I checked my school tuto and my infomaniak tuto to parameter pop3/imap on android phone.
- I did exactly the same as asked by tutos (adress of mail-server, security protocol, port, username, password)
- I also tried every possibility between security protocol and port, "no security" included.
- I'm sure the servers are right because if I type them wrong I have an error with the server.
- I tried on both stock email-app of CM12.1 and gmail-app, I always have a nickname & password error when the app is checking servers, except... my gmail email...
- I also tried to do that both with my wifi at home and my 4G, same issue
I don't know what to try next, I already checked tens of forums threads, nobody is talking about general issue, it's always specific app or mail problem, generally due to a wrong server adress or protocol or username/pw
Is there any problem with mail-authentification on CM12.1 ?
Did I forgot something to parameter on phone instead of email-app ?
Any idea ?

I disabled the version 5.1 of Services Exchange and I installed com.google.android.gm.exchange Version 6.5-1729047
Your idea was good, I'm quit silly to not have though about it but, it's still doing user/pw problem
Do you think I should try with older version of exchange service than 5.1 ? Maybe that's not this causing the issue...

That's enought for me, maybe too much already.
But what is the point of GApps here ? There is no link with the fact I want my mail on my phone and google apps ? No ?
EDIT : I checked the full package content of GApps, there is no apps linked to mail except GMAIL that I installed to test mail-parameter on my phone

Hi, I need help getting an old account from my j7 prime ...
It is locked on the screen that asks to use a google account previously installed, does not allow a new account and that's it ... I've tried a few things:
1: in no way does it open browser,
It gives a message that has been blocked due to security etc etc ..
2: it does not have the wizard option
3: I tried the program Frp HiJacker by Hagard, it also did not work ..
The google version is 4.5.0
And android 6.0 ..

I was surprised today to see that my android firewall (afwall+) blocked several communications from the SMS/MMS application (ID 10068).
The following IP address were blocked, all on port 443
216.58.213.142
216.58.215.46
172.217.19.238
172.217.18.206
These IP belongs to google hosting, have self-signed certificate (and redirect to google.com if blindly via https://[theip] ).
Does anybody have clue about this?

PS: my phone runs lineage os 15, updated on Sept 4th. It is rooted, runs microg, fdroid and xposed, and has very few apps on it.

I bought a Remix Pro last week, but I find its launcher looks like Android launcher(no trash can, no right-click menu ).(I can not upload image because my internet.) (this problem is different from "remix wifi")
first if your device is rooted, you have to delete your default launcher "launcher 3" .Ok, your launcher will be normal when you delete your default launcher.:laugh:
If your device is not rooted. Please installing a app named "ice box" in google play. Then according its steps to set it by adb. Finally, opening ice box and "freeze“ your default launcher "launcher 3".
I accidentally find this solution. I am not responsible for any operating.
