Hello to all.
Still continues to improve for MIUI official. Designed for Xiaomi and readily ported to many terminals. Among these our HD2 ! The rom is
multilanguage for Nand and Native Sd. I tried with native sd in the multi-boot and it works very well.

Almost every MIUI V5 I've tried with HD2 wasn't smooth - It had lag when scrolling homescreens or switching between apps.
Maybe it's my SD Card. I have class 6 but other ROMs are smooth (Slim ROM 4.2.2, tytungs jellybean 4.2.2 ...)
If you tried it can you tell me is this one smooth/fast?
I'm planning installing on 400/5 HD2 EU, NativeSD, Magldr.

OK. Now I know what I want to know .....
as to flow smoothly in the flow of the home screen, I confirm it 100%!
I notice a slight delay on opening programs. but very negligible.
* However, it has a great stability ... after several tests (a rom on nand - other Rom in native sd) I opted out of the basic configuration of clk 1.5 and use only native sd.
Yes, the memory card Class 10 I believe these decreases your problems ....
if you can be of help: what I've noticed from my testing, that miui (unlike the Nexus HD2 ... JellyBean ...) consume less battery with my configuration: long phone with bluetooth ... or use the navigator, etc. ....
is in essence what I'm looking for, in addition to the established '

Installed this build to test and it's working ok so far.. Everything I tested worked so far but I'm still on preliminar tests..
The speed is ok but I would like to see smoother transitions like on slim rom, I would say that the transitions are like nexushd2 rom.. But not as smooth as slim jb.. I will keep on testing and updating the results.
Thanks for sharing.
Either way I don't have Google play in this rom, is it normal? Sorry but I don't use miui since gb days.

Installed it on nativesd. It is definitely faster than the other MIUI V5 ROMs that I have used. I will test more thoroughly and report back.
Thanks for this smooth ROM.

Hello,
on this MIUI Rom, once installed the app "Phone Locator Pro", you receive SMS messages that arrive from other App "PhoneLocator Pro" installed on another device with no MIUI Rom??
Tried several times on other recent MIUI Rom without result, you can receive SMS text only.
Contact the vendor of the App and he told me that it is not their problem.
Thank you.
I can confirm the general smoothness on main screen, but the lag when opening apps is deal breaker. The phone is stable but just too slow for my taste.
I'm using Nand version with DataOnEXT.

TRUE: I tried on both Nand/Nand + DataOnExt/Native SD... too slow for daily use...
However, It's a very nice looking ROM.

ok, your hd2 eu or tmous?
because for me only Eu hd2 nand is impossible.
only in nand with dataext, but it is in conflict with other native sd rom. therefore, I chose only native sd with old HSPL and configuration already written .....
Programs for me are quite reactive, only I noticed the camera but only the first start. then all is well.
And I repeat, that I think for daily use and very satisfying in native sd ... check you class sd card ...... and in any case many thanks for your advice ....
No doubt about that, ones the we open an app for the 1st time it lags a bit, then 2ndd time its fine, but we can't keep the app open - it eats the ram... hence, we again have the delay in app opening.
It's possible that my installation procedure is wrong or may be I'm too stupid to expect the speed of MIUI -GB in V5. :silly:
That's true that it lags less compared to any other :good:
HTC HD2 (EU) SD card - C10 8gb
1) I used for CLk 1.5 nand - 200/5 then used Int-to-ext (2gb ext4)
2) I used for MAGLDR 1.33 nand - 200/5 then used Int-to-ext (2gb ext4)
3) Native SD - 2gb ext4
After install - I let it settle for 10-15 mins then installed Int-to-ext - then again I let it settle for 10-15 mins - restart and install Gapps and so-on...
However I always prefer to use Nand + DataOnExt + Swap
Please share your install/procedure as well.

no one said you were stupid, I do not think so! indeed!
if you open an application and then open it still does not eat ram. miui v5 has this gift!
: Hold button (home) for more than a second and press apkiller key (cleaner). recovers immediately ram! basic version must recover 200 mb free ....
that I am proposing is a pure Miui! not a rom with other base with the addition of only a miui launcher. I think progress has been remarkable and still comparable only with the same base. it is obvious that you can use any configuration you like ....
my conguration is already set out in the previous post. in most clk 1.5.1.6 - HSPL 2.08
ext 3gb - 4 rom mounted in native sd. Apache sd card.
Try to switch swap off... I've tested many miui roms and always slow things down!

Hi
Having tired a few custom ROMS I've gone back to the stock (boring of me I know) but my main reason for rooting was to increase internal memory and (with the help of int2ext) I know have a wopping 1.5 GB internal memory. So I'm happy - ish
I noticed when i had the CM10 ROM installed that I could set a max CPU of 768 MHZ but now I've gone back to stock that has dropped to 600 HHZ
Is there another Kernel I can install under the stock ROM that will give me the higher CPU max, and if s o- which one?
Cheers

Hi,
i am a newbie at rom stuffs.
İ downloaded and installed the CyanogenMod 10.2 - Alpha 9 - 20140916 on my poor wonder. İ checked the ram status and i see that underusing ram is at least 223 MB and i have no apps and even have no phone numbers. i read on xda that it must be at 150-160 MB. Can anyone tell me What my problem is and what the solution is ? because the Wonder has already very little ram and if i install apps like whatsup, facebook etc. i can't use my phone because of freezing. İ have checked once before when i have the CyanogenMod 10.2 - Alpha 9 - 20140916 and the facebook, whatsup, soundhound, clean master and 1-2 another apps installed, and my free ram amount was 5-12 MB. So i couldnt use my phone.
Please help me, because i am getting very mad about that situation.
Thanks to all...

Facebook requires a lot of memory and this phone is only 512mb. Most of the memory is reserved to system. It all depends of the applications that come with the rom. You can always delete some applications that you don't want. Still, don't expect miracles. Also you can try some custom kernels that have 416mb of ram. It can help a bit
My sony z3 has gone back to sony for repair, so I got my i9250 out as a spare. It was installed with cm13, but as it hadn't been used for a while I updated to the latest nightly. all was good but the camera kept crashing, so i wiped everything, flashed cm13 and pico g-apps, but when it restarts google play, won't start. (nano is too big apparently??)
So i tried using cm12 and the relevant g-apps and got the same result
then i tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-nexus/development/rom-omap4-aosp-project-t3334574 and it just boot loops on the the 7.1 & kk versons
It will install cm13 & 12 and start no problems, but i need all my google contacts and stuff
Any suggestions??

Did you use Gapps Pico...? It's smallest...
Day by day letest changes makes ROM bigger, and then our phone doesn't have enough space for Gapps... That is reason....
While flashing, keep eye on Log of Custom Recovery, starting of flash checks space on device first and gives result, then see if Gapps got flashed or not...

You can't use anything bigger than pico since Marshmallow (and I don't recommend anything bigger than pico, period). I have never had success with anything nano (the largest I have ever tried - and that was only with CM 13); however, pico has never done me wrong (I moved to Unlegacy Android - currently 7.1.0 - for performance issues that it fixes compared to CM13; yes, for some rather odd reason, Nougat performs better than MM on this device).

That's right Pico is the only option from MM and upper. It's very usefull the performance tip you give about Nougat.
I have installed last MM build from:
builds.unlegacy-android.cf/aosp-6.0/tuna (2017/01/09)
Everything goes well (even GPS), it's fast and reliable. But I have a doubt, should I wait till next Nougat (with GPS functional) or should I stay in MM with everything functional and good performance?
Is N release better in any aspect than MM?, obviously I miss the new improvements in Android N that have developed Google, but I mean general performance and hardware related issues.
I prefer an older Android release, faster and more stable than the newer one with more issues or slower.
Anybody can tell? Thanks in advance!

So far, N has stood that meme on its head (compared to MM, L, KK, and even JB) and it's NOT the first OS for any device to have done so..
It's a meme that dates back to MS-DOS (that's right - it pre-dates Windows of any sort) and it's based on a canard that a newer OS is designed for newer hardware. While it CAN be true, there are reasons why the Galaxy Nexus in particular stands the meme on its head.
1. Basic storage capaciousness. Unlike most devices that succeeded it, the Galaxy Nexus in particular not only does NOT support microSD physically, it also does not lose over half the base storage to its firmware - in fact, PureNexus 7.1.1 - even installed as a pour-over upgrade from Unlegacy AOSP - takes up less than ten percent of the GNex storage space; all of 3 GB at worst. That means that more of the basic storage can be used for ZRAM - the Android equivalent of virtual memory in Linux distributions, Windows, or other modern OSes. More modern phone designs support microSD - which has itself grown in capacity as a storage mechanism; however, you pay a price in loss of first-tier storage capacity - every S-series Samsung phone proves it - how do ANY of them compare to the GNex in non-SD-based storage after firmware loadout? Also, you can't use microSD for ZRAM; if you need ZRAM, you must use free basic storage for it - and most modern Android devices simply don't have it to spare. (It's not just a phone problem; in fact, my Lenovo A7-30F - which supports microSD and is running Lollipop right now - illustrates the point rather painfully, despite being a tablet - it is also a MediaTek big.LITTLE "4+4" design that is hamstrung by the lack of ZRAM. Being able to throw more cores at the problem won't help when the processor is not the biggest problem.)
2. CPU vs. ZRAM - Performance of a given application on a given phone is NOT always determined by processor power; the same is, in fact true on OSes other than Android. Still , what happens merely in Android as ZRAM availability - which IS a secondary function of basic storage capacity - decreases? (This is whether the device supports microSD or not.) Does or does NOT performance decrease as basic storage fills up?
3. Not every app needs more CPU or GPU. Out of everything I've thrown at the PureNexus/GNex combo, only two apps (and one game) explicitly require Marshmallow or better - and in all three cases, they were designed for Marshmallow OR Nougat in the first place.
Previos time I used Redmi Note 4 (Mido). That phone are 3gb varient. That phone in i flashed epicMiui custom rom. That rom are used my ram storage only few 1gb/1.3gb Ram. That rom are my best choose for that issue. All time ram storage 1.4gb are always free. That phone camera are just osame
But,
Now I am used Redmi note 5. There I tested many custom rom. All the custom ROM are most ram storage drained. Like there are free ram storage are only 700mb to 900mb.
So,
I need A miui based rom.
That are i am used daily draivers. That are mostly free my ram 1.4 to 1.5gb. Sugeested me please...
Nb: sorry my bad english.
You don't need that. Empty ram is wasted ram. Stop obsessing with numbers and learn how things works.

Congratulations, you used your phone with 1.5gb ram lol. Why do you even have this crazy idea that somehow unused ram is good for you? Its not, unused ram=useless ram in linux/android.
