Stock music player - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

I'm having an issue ever since the update to 3.2.2, my stock music player keeps opening. Only when I'm handling the phone, the phone is stock and not rooted. It pop up on my notification tray it doesn't open and can cancel what I'm doing, if that makes sense. Gestures are enabled and I know about it but it pops up while the phones on, Any thoughts?

[Q] Disabling Android's Music Player

So this is my situation...
When I was originally using fresh evo 3.2.0.0 I was using the HTC Music app. I have this earphones where every time I click the button on the headphones it'd Pause the music or pick up the call.
However, when I switched over to DamageControl's ROM w/ using Sense, I tried the android music player. I decided I didn't like it and I went back to Sense to use the HTC music app again. However, every so often it'd just randomly turn on the Android Music app, and it'd always turn on the android music app if i clicked the "pause/pick up call" button on my earphones. Anyway, I just decided to stop using it for a while.
Few days ago, I decided to go back to Fresh Evo rom (after full dalvic+cache/cache/and factory wipe) because of other preferences, and I also thought it'd help me with my music app problem. Same problem still persists. If I lock my screen with the HTC Music app it'll switch to the Android Music App instead, and same thing if i hit the pause/pick up call button on my earphones. Is there anyway for me to disable the android music app or fix this problem?
Also, sorry in advance if this is the wrong section. I just assumed that this was an app related question.
And of course, thanks in advance!

[Q] Media Control card disappearing on load? (Google Play Music)

Hi Gang,
So I start a song playing on google play music. I get the card to pop up with the artist name and the pause button on the bottom of the face.
Then, within a second, it disappears. I can press pause and play on my phone quickly and it'll happen again. If I time it right, I can "catch" the card before it disappears, but if I try to do any media controls it does the control on Google Play Music but then the card disappears again.
Anyone else seeing this? I wonder if I can do a harder factory reset than the "reset device" option, because I've done that twice already?
Thanks!
Nobody on this?
I've since installed Music Boss to help with media controls, but would be nice to know if other people are experiencing issues with the stock music card.
Not sure if media controls are even listed as a feature for the 360. Please someone chime in! Thank you
Anyone? I need to know if mine is bugged and if I need to contact Best Buy about this and get an exchange, or try to flash the thing back to factory.
When you press play in Google Music do you get the card? Can you play/pause without it disappearing randomly? Does it disappear on load sometimes? Help a brother out...
I wasn't really paying attention to mine. When I was, the card was always there.

I'm experiencing a similar problem. Every time I re-connect my 360 to my phone, the media card pops up, and it says it's playing a tv show on netflix... every single time I re-connect. I've restored the watch, reinstalled android wear...etc.
Same thing here. Driving me nuts as it's probably the most useful card.
Happen to me today, after update android wear and it is force the watch to reboot.
Media control card will disappear after couple songs, need to pause and replay the song again from my phone to show the card again.
Funny thing is the lyrics card from musiXmatch is still there.
and just curious, anyone feel the last android wear update is affecting the battery life?
before my watch can last for 2 days. (14 hours / day).
now my watch already dead at 9.30PM (unplug from charger at 7AM)
Card disappears as soon as I hit play
I'm having a related issue too, possibly as the result of upgrading my phone to Lollipop (it only started happening since then, and Lollipop has more settings to prioritise notifications). Where I used to get a generic media controls card with the name of the artist and a pause button, with a swipe right revealing a screen with volume and back/next buttons, I now get a card with the Play Music logo and the track name, which only shows when the music is paused. This card doesn't have a play button until you swipe, and swiping right only reveals one control at a time, not all four on one screen (quite annoying to use actually). I'm using a Moto 360 as well, however I doubt that it is in any way specific to that. I'm also using Play Music as my music player. My primary suspicion is that the generic media controls went with the lockscreen widgets that Google axed in Lollipop, and that Play Music offers a fallback which happens to be quite bad. Any ideas?

After some quick Googling, it looks like my hypothesis was correct! A leaked update to the update to the Wear app seems to fix the issue for Lollipop, see http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/1...l-makeover-but-only-on-lollipop-apk-download/

when playing music on the phone, how do i get rid of the card on the watch?

I can't swipe away the music card when i'm streaming music from my phone to my card...it blocks the screen and time...how do i get around this "feature"?
I'm interested in this as well... its sorta annoying always having that blocking your watch.

Block notifications from the app in the android wear app on the phone?
What about swipe down to mute? Does that not work for the music card?
Blocking notifications didn't work for power amp. Muting works but it also blocks everything else and I don't want that.
notifications needs a lot of work, they should be independent of notifications on the phone.
any persistent notification will stay persistent on the watch as well.
Music notification can't be swiped away or disabled unfortunately
Yeah, this is REALLY annoying. I use music controller for android wear and it works great and has more functionality than the stock music player. It also works with Pandora. The problem is I have to swipe up twice because the stock music controller stays above the other one and it goes right back to the main screen when the screen turns off...this is annoying as well because I like to have the (next) button open from the Music Controller for Android Wear to easily skip to the next song the way I used to in the stock music app for my Pebble.

Are you rooted? If you freeze or uninstall the stock music app with titanium backup. It may work... I haven't gotten my watch yet, it shipped today, I was just doing a little reading before it gets here.
My biggest complain with this watch.
Android Wear 2.0 can't come soon enough!

[Q] Stock Galaxy Music Player stopps running

Hello,
I listen to some podcasts on my phone, and after upgrading to Kitkat, I found that if I pause playback and want to resume after a while, it resets from the beginning.
After some poking around, it seems that the player app and services close automatically after 2 minutes of inactivity. This did not happen on JB before the update.
I have tried using other music apps from the play store and they do not show this behavior and can resume playback normally.
Can I do something about this issue or is this built into the app or the OS. I like the stock player and rather not use a different app if I don't have to.
If it is relevant, I am running on stock firmware 4.4.2 (I9195XXUCNH5).

[Q] [HELP] Problems with Music Playback - Continual Pausing, Track Changing,

Model Number LG-D855 16gb
Android Version 5.0
Kernel Version 3.4.00
Software Version V20e-EUR-XX
I'm having problems with music playback on my LG G3, which I recently bought second hand. It came in the box having been factory-reset and initially everything was fine and dandy. In fact, I was well on my way to falling in love with the phone and Android in general.
Then I tried to play music on headphones with the phone in my pocket.
Problems
1. At first the phone stopped requiring a knock code to unlock whilever an application playing music was open. Now, the phone doesn't require a code at any time. This seems quite bizarre, but I can't find a setting to turn this feature back on.
2. To my knowledge, previously the phone required a press on the unlock button on the rear of the phone for the screen to turn on. Now, two taps on the screen will turn it on. Another tap will pause or change a track. This makes it impossible to put the phone in a pocket while music is playing, because after a few paces the song has paused or changed.
3. I think there's a motion-control feature activated. The motion of putting my phone in my pocket nearly always pauses the track that is playing. In any position other than lying flat on a table, the music frequently stops and starts.
All of the above behaviours happen with the native Music app, and also with Spotify, in equal amounts
I'm prepared to install another type of Android such as Cyanogen because I was already considering doing so. But I wouldn't mind knowing how to fix this first, or at least an explanation as to why these things happen at all.
