What did you "full wipe" with?
In any case, can you not boot into your factory reset phone and then go through the paces as if you were on a new phone?
Can you boot into Recovery or Fastboot?

Okay, boot into Recovery and then connect the phone to your computer. You should then be able to transfer the 3.2.2 zip to your phone.
Then wipe System, Dalvik, and Cache
Install 3.2.2 zip and SuperSU.zip
Reboot System.

Enable the MTP in recovery so your machine will see the sdcard. You can then transfer the file.
if you can see recovery just sideload the whole rom
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Download the full ROM and adb sideload it

Hi guys
I am trying to install the latest TWRP, but every time that I try to boot into recovery through "adb reboot recovery" the phone restarts and I see the android maintenance logo.
What I did up to now:
1) I unlocked the bootloader following LG site instructions successfully. I have the bootloader unlocked message.
2) Downloaded TWRP to my windows PC for H815. After doing "fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-h815.img", the result seems to be successful as I get the expected OK message.
3) I try to reboot to TWRP through "adb reboot recovery" but every time goes to the maintainance logo. I tried also the button combination but I cannot see the Factory Reset menu or the TWRP menu.
Just to mention that I was completely stock V20d without root at the beginning and that the phone boots fine for the moment.
Please help.
No one had my issue? I am still trying to install TWRP and I only manage to boot it temporarily from the PC..

twrp needs to be flashed from within twrp. First boot twrp:
> fastboot boot twrp.img
Now you install the image as recovery.

I think this was the first issue, but after I should also remove the "read only" from TWRP in order to keep it in the recovery.

It didnt worked fro me. i select img. and i got red error letters, then i flash it using zip and it worked.. i had both files on sd external card and on pc.
I was on
OOS 3.2.8 with official twrp.
I flashed modified twrp (.28 ) in official twrp .
After that i wiped everything except internal.
Flashed official 4.0 full zip.
Wiped cache & dalvik
Flashed Supersu v79
Flashed official twrp img file in modified twrp (assuming that I will get official twrp after booting to 4.0)
Again wiped cache & dalvik
Clicked on reboot system, msg appeared that No Os Installed sure to reboot?
I rebooted, after that device successful booted but then stucked on this screen---- not moving forward from here.
My recovery is also replaced with Stock Oxygen recovery, I went to Stock recovery > wiped cache & settings data & then again tried to reboot but same problem.
Then I again wiped same things in Stock recovery & tried to install 4.0 from there but Stock recovery showed Install failed.

Flash modified TWRP 1.28 (That is the only recovery you'll need!)
Try to boot and into TWRP, connect the device to your computer and BACKUP your storage. Once done we can proceed.
The OS is indeed installed, so the screen shot you posted. Was your screen hanged there or were you stuck on the step?
Hello to all. for the problem is the recovery that says that there is no os installed, I resolved not doing wipe system

Hi,
Your entire partion map is broken now, you don't have any recovery now.
Getting data at this point is somehow boot to ROM. Your hope is to recover the ROM.I think fastboot is working for you.
Try to flash 3.2.8 through oxygen recovery
If it's not working, try below
Proceed with caution(no 100% Guarantee):
1.Download unbrick kit from forum
2.open fastboot and try to flashing only system
3. Dont try storage
4.boot to ROM and recover data
5.do a complete unbrick
6.sideload oxygen 4.0
7.flash twrp28 from fastboot
8. Goto recovery and flash supersu
9.done
Data files for system is there in unbrick kit(oxygen os older version).
Fastboot commands:
flash system system.img

Yesterday night I flashed modified twrp using fastboot, after that I tried to clean flash 4.0 again using modified twrp, but same pattern repeated again.
Then I flashed stock recovery (downloaded from google) & then tried to flash 4.0 through stock but again it showed install failed.
Then I again flashed twrp & then took backup of my internal storage & moved 4.0 to desktop.
After that
Fastboot format userdata
Then flashed twrp to transfer internal storage to my phone & this time pc showd can't move this ffile (or similar msg)
Then I flashed oxygen Recovery & then tried to sideload the rom (idk full steps to sideload, didn't find any detailed tutorial on youTube )
Attaching image of the it.
I placed 4.0 zip on desktop & then in stock recovery Clicked on adb and then entered command "adb sideload four.zip" but it failed again
Now I am fuc*ing confused what happened & what to do.
Current status is oxygen Recovery Installed with everything erased.
But even after formatting, phone is in same condition like before.
Someone confirm it that when I l successfully flashed modified twrp & then booted in to it, the version in twrp screen was written as 3.0.2-1 & not 3.0.2-1.28...... Is it normal?
Someone help me please with easiest way.
edit: fail^^

Dude, don't worry
First Twrp28 looks 3.0.1-1 only when you boot to it.
2.This issue happens when your partion table got lost(means corrupted, that's why not able to transfer)
best way to recover is
Download unbrick kit from xda
1.power of and press volume up button, then connect to Qualcomm mode
2.recover to 3.2.6
3.then start again
Issue solved.

First I used fastboot erase recovery & then flashed stock recovery again but again nothing was happening.
Then formated everything, then flashed modified twrp .
Flashed oos3.2.8 in twrp then flashed modtwrp.img in twrp , after that rebooted in twrp before rebooting system (this is what I did wrong earlier).
After rebooting to twrp , rebooted to system.
Previous error was gone now but now new error came : encryption issue.
Then used tool kit to force decrypt the op3.
After that rebooted to oos3.2.8
Yesterday i downloaded the 4.1.5 update via OTA installer in settings, moved the zip to my downloads, went to TWRP wiped data cache and dalvik and flashed it but it gave me an error 7. Currently I have a "Unable to mount /system" problem when i do anything in TWRP. My phone works with the nandroid back up i restored. Root works but the /system isn't mounted according to TWRP which worries me. I want to update to 4.1.5 in the end. Any ideas? Thanks.

So when I'm in the backup section, system is a ridiculously large size according to twrp (17592186044375mb) and system image is 3gb itself. Should i just try wiping and see what happens?
First, what TWRP are you using?
I recomand eng-stk blu-spark 3.1.1.35.
When you back up in recovery don't check system image.

Just use Oxygen Recovery! It will work! Twrp doesn't work well with OTA updates, you can install a fresh oxygen os via twrp but you can't update OTA's via twrp
Once i flash any zip file, the system file size in the backup reads as that huge number again. I'm completely lost on what to do

You can flash Oxygen Recovery with TWRP! TWRP has option to flash recovery image, go to Install> then on right hand bottom corner select IMAGE, then choose Recovery and flash!
Or use the unified op3 toolkit to flash oxygen recovery, you can also switch back easily with the toolkit.

Youre recovery it's old for ob17 or 4.1.5. I recomend custom recovery so you can instal what ever rom you want., twrp eng-stk, blue spark 3.1.1.35
And the message NO os, in twrp it's ok. Some twrp give that message, but if you reboot to system, phone works fine.

Flash twrp via fastboot.
Boot to twrp via
Fastboot boot twrp.img
Replace "twrp" with the file name of your twrp.
Once twrp booted, go into reboot menu. And reboot to recovery again. That will make your phone boot again into twrp, but this time with more rights.
Go into wipe. Advanced wipe
Change data partition file system to ext4.
Reboot again into twrp via the reboot menu ,just like before.
Now go into wipe again, and format system, data, dalvik and cache.
Flash your rom.
Flash gapps (if not otherwise stated by ROM thread)
Flash Magisk (optional, if you want root)
Wipe dalvik and cache.
Reboot. And enjoy

We only have one bootloader.
We have different firmwares though like nougat and marshmallow.
You will need Firmwares S244 for nougat ROMs.
That firmware must be flashed through ota. Stockrom-feature. Simply using twrp does not count as doing otas.
Basic starter things: Have Firmware S244 or S251 installed through stock ota feature.
Then use my earlier stated instructions.
Thx alot it worked & no problems
Hello.
How can I please reinstall the stock rom via TWRP recovery without data loss, or how can I reinstall it via the Miflash tool?
I have a bootloop and would like to try reinstalling rom. Thanks
basically what u can do is flash stock rom using mi flash tool. ensure that down to the bottom u click save user data. and i think u should be fine flashing the stock rom and preserving your data in that sense. after flashing wait and let the device reboot for itself it usually takes a couple mins

I have already managed to boot into the system, in TWRP Recovery I wipe dalvik.
But I need root and I must to patch the boot.img again via Magisk. And then I must flash patched boot.img via ADB back to the mobile, but I'm afraid I'll go back to the bootloop.
Any other options to do root or avoid bootloop?
Thanks

Stupid question but did you extracted boot.img before or after update? Maybe you flashed patched boot.img from previous update to last update? That would cause bootloop

It's not a stupid question.
The update was displayed on my phone, downloaded, installed, restarted and booted into the system, everything is fine.
Then I had to download the update manually from the Internet and extract the boot.img. and I then patched it via Magisk and flashed it back to the mobile via ADB, and then a bootloop occurred.

basically to root its just best to flash the official magisk zip via twrp. it patches the boot img during the process. and u wont get bootloop
