I'm quite the heavy user, but even so, since a while, I have to charge 2-3 times a day and sometimes, my battery level just remains stagnant for whatever reason
If I watch streams(twitch) the battery lasts roughly 4.5 hours. If I play games like FGO or anything like that, battery lasts only 2.5 hours.
The phone lasts the longest if I only chat/browse the web, which is more than 6 hours.
I am using stock so that might be why. I have a lot of different apps that requires the phone to be not rooted or running Android N. A good feature ZTE should add with their new upcoming stuff would be EAS and more low-power profiles. Because reading stuff, watching videos or playing lite 2D/3D games do not require the big cores to run between 80-100% all the time. I have noticed this happens all the time.

on heavy usage gives around 3.5-4 hours of battery.
on heavy usage intensive gaming battery drain a bit faster and it produces heat

About 7 hours SOT fully on wifi. About an hour of video call. Other than that facebook and youtube

handles well. not complaint here. not a flagship material though. can get around 4.5 hrs on heavy usage.

One thing Mate 9 Pro cannot be accused of is to have poor battery life. 2 full days of medium use or 1.5 days of heavy use with 6+ hours of SOT during day (high-max brightness).

Takes it like a champ. It's designed to sustain a load, and not throttle, so you shouldnt ever experience slowdown due to heat. It does drain the battery significantly faster, but youre still looking at like 4-5 hours of usage, if you turn down the brightness
