What application are you all using to move apps from your internal sd to the external?

where are the files located when it's been moved by link2sd? i can't seem to find it.
to the hidden linux partition that you created
I downloaded Talking Santa for the kids but it won't let me play it. A screen keeps popping up that there is not enough space on my SC card but I have 50 gigs of free space. My knowledge is very limited but I unmounted and mounted again and that didn't do anything. I'm also getting this error when I try to move an app to my SD card using app 2 sd.
The app seems to have extra files it needs to download when you open it. It looks like it is trying to put those files on the internal storage. Try deleting some files off your internal SD not external.
This phone does a stupid thing where the internal memory is split into two partitions: Internal and SD card. Apks go to internal and data to SD card. But SD card is really just another subsection of your internal memory! Nothing actually goes to your external removable SD card when you move apps to the "SD card". This is a problem that I know no solution to. Any help?
Haven't had an issue with apps not going to SD. I have noticed that it does leave the empty folder behind on my internal SD.
Is it possible to start saving everything to the SD card rather than the internal memory? For example, I want to use the downloads folder on my SD card rather than the internal memory, and I want to have app links that go directly to the SD card rather than the internal memory. I basically just want to use the SD card for storing everything and not have anything on the internal memory.
Is there a way to do that?
Thanks
I even need to know any such way out
Is there a rom or mod that would let me swith the internal/external memory so that my 64gb sd card would show as internal memory and the 16gb intenal memory would show as external sd card? Install a couple of larger games and I'm full.
Thanks.
No, not only that it would require a rooted device.
If you're already prepared to root your device there are already solutions to the problem. Link2sd pro and folder mount can both fulfill your need.
In order to free up some internal memory on my A3 2017 Android 8, I moved all moveable apps to an external SD card.
The problem is, when one of these apps is updated, this app is moved back to internal memory.
Is there a way to permanently leave these apps in the external memory?
Sadly no, that's how Android works. The system has to move the apps back to internal storage in order to update them. Play Store can't write on the SD card.
Ok, thanks for your answer.
... is it possible to mount the sd-card as internal storage?
I have the same problem. I want to use the phone any longer, because it works ... but the space is the problem.
It is possible but you must root your phone to do this.
Some bank apps will also not work with this solution.
It is a shame that this phone is only equiped with 16 gigs of internal memory.
I like it a lot because it fits my needs and that it is small enough to fit in my pocket.
