I've got OTA update to 30.2.A.0.100.
And everything works fine, but... Stamina mode has permanent notification, and I cannot get rid of it.
Is there any way to disable it?
If not I strongly think of downgrade to Android 5.1
not disable it
New thought. Use app like Automate or Lama or smth, that can turn on Stamina Mode when screen is off, and turn off stamina when screen is on.
So far Lama cannot do this - anyone knows an app that can do this?
Turned out that in 6.0 there is no Stamina Mode at all, and it is just standard Android Doze from Google.
Downgraded to 5.1

Huh? I don't understand. I do see a Stamina Mode option on my M5 running 6.0.
But that's not exactly what was on 5.1.1. It's stripped from most things it was. However it's still better than standard Android MM Power Saving Mode.

Hi guys
I received Lollipop yesterday via OTA and power saving mode is disappointing me. In kitkat I used to put my phone always in power saving mode and it resulted in great battery life. The point was that though my M8 was in power saving mode, it could received messageg from viber, whatsapp while screen was off
Now in lollipop when I put my m8 in power saving mode, it can not receive messages (viber,whatsapp,...) and every body thinks I am offline.
It is really disappointing. I want power saving to be like kitkat times. any suggestion?
I want to hear from you guys

Are you using extreme power saving mode? That shuts off your data.

Hi
exactly the same behaviour on my SM-N910F (note 4)
really wondering if I'm not going back to kit kat (android updates going the same direction as the windows updates?!)
Hi,
I found the answer. The trick is that to go to power saver in sense 6 and untick the check box related to the "Data connection".
Thank you every body
I just installed the Android Wear update. I had turned tilt to wake off a few weeks ago and I want to turn it back on, but I can't find the setting now. I've checked Android Wear, Moto Connect and settings on my watch. Can someone tell me where it is? TIA
Edit: SOLVED. I found it in Android Wear > Settings. Have to tap the top Moto 360 to get to it. Don't know if this is new to the new Android Wear update.
yeah it was moved w/ the app update. battery life seem better than the previous version w/ ambient mode? i'd love to use ambient mode but coulnd't even get a 10 hour workday for battery life out of it.
Edit: just realized you said tilt to wake, not ambient mode.
After upgrading to latest 6.0.1 32.2A.0.224 I have notice that I can't tap on battery graph to get more details about screen on or awake and wifi as before is it happen only with me or it is new feature or common bug pls advice
same here probably stamina mode don't allow
but if you click on the the spec like screen will popup a new window with more detail
U r right but how can we renable it?
i think it's impossible, probably the stamina mode integration work in this way
Nothing to do with stamina mode. This is just Sony's own battery graph. Which is a botched up version of the stock one. Just one of the few things wrong with the latest update.

Guys this is similar to Note 5 battery graph! For some reason you can't click on it to go into details (Screen, charging, wifi, signal, GPS etc...) use graph! Really sad to see sony following that!
Hi, I recently updated to Android 10
Since then we have a problem with the brightness of the screen
I every recommend stopping the night mode and auto brightness. I did it but it doesn't help.
build number . QKQ1.191002.002.V11.0.7.0.QDLMIXM
I did soft and hard reset
but the problem is not fixed.
When I'm out, the phone becomes unusable. I don't see anything from the sun.
Please help.
during the day in the sun the phone can not be used
Are you sure Adaptive brightness is turned off ? if not go search brightness in the settings then turn off adaptive brightness.
Also is it worth upgrading to Android 10, performance wise ? cause I'm using pie but I'm scared that my phone might lag on games with android 10
Yes, Adaptive brightness is turned off
Where can I download Android 9 official rom?
I don't want a root image

Hi everybody,
I'm running CN rom KLEN2011100CN00MQ3 and I'm having problems with my WhatsApp notifications. The OS doesn't allow the app to auto start even after I've gone into the app settings and enabled it.
Does anyone have any solution to this problem?
Its the battery saver find the google services framework apk and install it (if you dont have it already) and make sure the battery saver is turned off on that one. It tends to turn it on automatically whenever the phone battery runs low. Also for some weird reason whatsapp still turns off for me when im sleeping and i have to open it back when I wake up in the morning.
The chinese rom is too invasive in myopinion and if you know how to change over to the global I suggest you do.
