Bricked Redmi 1s - Xiaomi Redmi 1S

I've had my redmi for a while now, and about a year ago I bricked it, although I do not remember exactly how I did it. It boots in TWRP but doesn't do anything more.
Is there a way to factory reset it with some kind of aplication? For my Alcatel Idol 3 there's a application for pc to reset everything. It takes care of downloading and flashing everything.
Is there such a thing for Xiaomi?

The guide for flashing this ROM is when the phone is working. I'll try with the MiSuite and with Miflash. I'll get back to you guys as soon as I try this.
thanks

When I flash with MiFlash it says Unspecified error(0x80004005: FAILED (remote: failed to erase partition)

Have you tried to dual boot Redmi 1S?

I don't understand, am i missing something here ?
If the device boots into TWRP, then whats stopping your from Wiping it and flashing a new ROM on it ?

It won't boot into twrp anymore.. I want it stock..

What exactly did you do that made it not boot into twrp
Sent from my HM 1SW using Tapatalk

I tried repartitioning and it failed. I think its completely bricked now.

Maybe. Is it able to go into bootloop or fastboot?

I can boot into fastboot.

Then there is still hope to save your device

Do I have a hardware problem? I have a bootloop problem. as soon as i insert the battery the fastboot logo appears and bootloop starts. If I keeps only vol+ pressed, recovery appears but then it boot loops. At max i get 10 sec of time to do anything. same happens when connected to PC or charger. I can change recovery via fast boot as it takes less then 10 sec. MI suite too works but the phone disconnects after 10 sec. Also tried dismantling and reassembling thinking of a stuck power or vol- button. Help needed

You are saying that recovery turns into bootloop happens even when you have used twrp, if you havent tried twrp yet , please do, you can flash twrp via fastboot and then flash miui from an external sd card
Sent from my HM 1SW using Tapatalk

thanks. but I have tried twrp3 and latest philztouch as well. after going into recovery i cannot do anything as phone reboots within seconds.

You could always try customer service, if they cant fix it they will replace it if is in warranty period

Make sure to flash stock recovery before you give it to customer service, or they will state your warranty as void

its two years old. out of warranty. Also i cant find fastboot flashable stock recovery.
What are my best options?

Do i need to delete my old recovery ( clockwork mod) or do anything to that recovery before flashing this one?
Your best bet is to flash that mod twrp. If it fails,I suggest u flash that ruu
---------- Post added at 02:08 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:03 AM ----------
What I mean is...flash that recovery then reflash your ROM. If u still get reboots, just flash that ruu...I don't think a certain recovery will interfere with flashing an ruu

can someone help me i cant boot into recovery, and apps are still FCing.
Symptoms:
-Unable to boot into recovery/bootloader
-Force closes system app or installed apps
-Stored settings changes on reboots
-Random reboots while phone is idle
-Constant reboots while restarting it and doesn't know when it will boot normally.
All above mention symptoms are related to HARDWARE FAILURE! Bare in mind that not all of them you'll see it on your device. But any of one you face, will might probably having chance of hardware failure.
You or here on xda users can't resolve your issue. So don't try anything from now on wards. Use it as is. Or sell it and move to another device.
Unless you have some local cheap repair shops where they might evaluate the issue then fix it that way, rather than calling into HTC service center.
And i forgot to mention, you probably have question in mind, How i know? My device is dying too. It reboots constantly before it boots normally, though it works fine. So symptom may vary device to device but cause is the same.

I did the exact same thing not realizing it can take up to 15 minutes for the cache to clear. What I did to recover was boot into fastboot. Get my PC to recognized my phone. The ran the fast boot tool from the command line. From there I fixed my cache partition by running the fastboot erase cache command. After that I downloaded the stock recovery for the latest build then flashed that. After that I was then able to boot into adb mode from stock recovery. Then I downloaded the factory image of the latest build for my model of phone from Asus website it was around 1gb. From there I placed it into my adb directory and ran the adb sideload nameOfImage.zip and that side loaded the image back onto my phone fully recovering it. And nothing was last everything remained intact. I did not need to do a full wipe or anything and I was back up and running.

I rooted my devide and then I tried instal the slim via TEMPORARY CWM which I think was my mistake all the way...
After I installed the slim rom the device gave me the option to restart which I accept and from that point I got the error msg with the android laying down and the "Erro!" msg...
Cannot get pass from that point, tried everything and I'm start to geting worried.... I cannot even access the sd card from another device since there is no sd card :|
sorry about my bad english...
Edit: I managed to enter in the recovery mode, already tried the wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition and nothing seem to work... still receiving the erro msg... I'm out of option man, I'm kinda new to this root/rom stuff and I think I got screwed in my first attempt :\
Edit 2: there is a ADB option, apply update from ADB, is there anything I can do with this option? I already dowloaded I stock version from the android...
You have 2 options, 1. Sideload from stock recovery the full zip of stock Rom or 2. flash via bootloader, w/adb sideload make sure you are on (adb 1.0.32) or it won't flash, if you choose bootloader option refer to the flash WW from CN tutorial located here in xda or search in chinaphonearena for shakalaka tutorial

Recovery mode never shows up even after it's selected and restarts

I was attempting to install a custom rom and now I can't even get into recovery mode. The option comes up after entering the bootloader but then it just reboots to the bootloader screen. If I pick normal boot it does the exact same thing. Any help much appreciated.
Can you flash from the bootloader? First thing to try is clear cache, be patient it's a slow process, if that works then flash a pre-rooted rom, you can find the in the thread to flash ww from cn. That should get you running again

I can't get to the standard recovery to clear the cache or to flash a prerooted rom. It seems I can talk to the device with my pc using fastboot but not adb. I did clear the cache by running the command "astboot format cache" but it didn't seem to help.

Is my phone bricked? Please help.

Okay, so I'm another person who OTA updated their rooted Zenfone 2.
ADB won't detect the phone. I've tried different ADB installations on three different computers. I've tried updated the drivers and everything. I've tried different USB cables.
My phone unfortunately has the stock Android recovery utility. There doesn't seem to be an option to install a rom from SD.
I've accepted that the phone is bricked. But I thought I would make one last effort on here before I go and buy another phone. Is there anything else I can do?
Any help would be appreciated!
