Has anybody used the flashfire app from chainfire to update factory images on their OP3? Did you have success? Thanks.
I have the same question I'm running SuperSU and xposed on Stock Rom. I just updated to Oxygen 3.2.2 and went through the entire process again flashing everything with TWRP.
bump
Anybody tried this ?
The same would ask me.
No one can answer?
Try it. I did. ?

Hi all! Sorry if this is a dumb question or one already answered but, is it safe to install cyanogenmod from the installer straight from the unrooted 4.3 OTA with KNOX? Like will it brick? I know it trips the flags voiding warranty but will it actually brick my phone? Thanks in advance!
Tons of threads on this, to my understanding, you won't brick your phone as long as you don't try to downgrade below 4.3, you have to be rooted and have custom recovery to flash CM though.

I actually got it installed, thanks tough!

I am also looking to flash CM on stock 4.3. Did you just install from CWM after rooting, or did you use the CM app?

Sorry man, didn't notice the post. Well i first used odin to flash the cf auto root. Then i got errors with superuser so i went to the play store and updated it, ran it, and updated the binaries. It also offered me to disable knox so i did then i flashed cwm through rom manager. Finally just flash cm and gapps

Thanks, worked perfectly. However, I am having issues with accessing carrier settings and voicemail issues. Have you run into similar problems?

So I am trying to figure out among the many threads how to get Xposed Framework on my LG G3. When I first got the phone I realized it was being worked on and now I decided to see what's been going on and realized all the threads. I've rooted my phone using this method, http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3129197, I have tried the one method of getting TWRP on my phone one of those one click apps and it bricked my phone so now I'm back to stock and rooted. Currently my software info is as follows, Android 5.0.1, Build number LRX21Y, Software version D85021q. Could someone just send me the proper links that won't cause a brick again? Thank you. What happened to the good old days of just installing the Xposed APK on a rooted device?!!
For lollipop we have always needed to flash via recovery.
Use flashify to install twrp

Thanks I'll give it a try. Kitkat was easier with it, that's what I'm saying. I miss when it was as easy as it was to install on kitkat, Thanks again!
Since updating to v21a trying to install exposed just leaves my phone stuck on the splash screen. Uninstalling it with the zip file restores my phone to working order. Has anyone else experienced this and know of a fix?

Hi everyone. I accidentally flashed a space x kernel meant for a different carrier S6. Now my touchscreen isn't working. I'm trying to flash back to stock via TWRP but don't know where to find the stock 6.0.1 firmware where I don't have to pay for fast download speeds. Does anyone here have access to it? Thank you.
Here you go: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24459283995306913
Tested and works fine.
I would suggest doing a backup with TWRP or Titanium backup

If u got backup just restore the bootloader and u will be ok. If u dont have backup go to download mode and flash stock rom.
Or install any rom throught twrp for the 920p. Touchscreen should be working on the twrp. (Mine was working.)

Thanks for the info. Yeah I ended up finding the stock marshmallow firmware and flashing it in twrp. Issue resolved.

So I'm currently running TWRP 2.8.6.0 , working flawlessly for me, but I know 3.0+ is out, has anybody tried or currently using it? If so, any issue's?
Reason I ask is because in the past there were a couple different version updates where I couldn't successfully restore any Backus..

I'm running mdmower's m7 universal build 3.0.M2.0 with no troubles at all. I believe I had restored a backup image captured with v2.8.something.

I have been using the Multirom Version of 3 and have not had any issues at all.
So I flashed the latest pie alpha to my s9 plus which was CRJ1. I went back to Oreo by flashing ARG8 in patched Odin and i had no service, no imei, and no baseband. i tried flashing the ARI6 update as well both in odin and from recovery on ARG8 and it did not work. I do get service and everything back on the Pie build. I know others could fix a similar issue in the alpha thread which ive been a part of but i just cant get this fixed!
what if you install twrp and make efs backup? (i don't know if that's gonna work I am new here ..(i was using nexus and pixel devices for a long time) a lot of the custom rom forums tell you to make efs backup first on sd card)
read that too

Yes i had tried all that, and I unfortunately can't make backups in twrp because the bootloader on the G965U is locked, no method yet to unlock it ?

If you haven't been on the s9 pie alpha forum you should post that there! Aside from me a few other people had the problem as well. I ended up getting a replacement from Verizon.
