Team FreeXperia would like to present you the very first full working recovery system for the Xperia S aka Nozomi aka LT26!
Notice:
For unlocked bootloaders only!!
Also this is ONLY RECOVERY for now! You cannot boot the actual system with it!
We will create a recovery for stock booting later! For now enjoy this.
Howto:
https://rapidshare.com/files/628034582/recovery-nozomi.img
2.) Flash it to phone with command:
Code:
fastboot flash boot recovery-nozomi.img
After that your phone will now always boot into recovery!
To boot again normal Rom you have to flash the stock Sony kernel.sin (can be found in ANY Rom ftf, just extract ftf as zipfile)
Reflash stock Rom:
Code:
fastboot flash boot kernel.sin
This Recovery is ported to our device by Defer, Jerpelea and Bin4ry.
Have fun with it
Regards
The same question again: what did you do to work around the bootloader bug? Also, is it possible to fastboot boot it?

Due to how the bootloader is implemented, at the moment you can't hotboot with the recovery image or any unsigned kernel.

boot logo is the splash screen you see before bootanimation..here are the steps to use it..
you can do it by 2 ways..i>by flashing it through custom recovery
ii>by using adb command..
1>FLASHING-just flash the zip if the op made it flashable..
head on to custom recovery installed(cwm or twrp) and flash the zip provided
2>adb command(preferred by me )-open the zip provided and you will find a logo.bin file.copy it to the adb folder and run adb .now go to bootloader on you phone and type the command in adb on pc
Code:
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
done!
you will find the logo flashed now.if facing any difficulty just tell me.i will guide you or if you want i will teach you this using teamviewer as its a job of commands on pc :silly:

So, I tested all available buils in FXP blog. Guess what, none of them worked, they all get bootloop.
The method I used was using this commands in same folder of build files:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
I think this is pretty much the end of T3 development
Hope I get a new phone soon
have you flash the new bootloader ? it's the only way to boot !

Modded Logo.bin to eliminate "Your phone can't be trusted" banner from bootloader
I created this logo.bin to eliminate the banner appearing after unlocking bootloader.
I used the MotoLogo from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/2015-moto-g/themes-apps/mod-change-splash-screen-various-t3182994
All credits to the creator of that thread: makers_mark
Flash it using fastboot
1: Download the logo.zip provided, unzip, and put in a folder
2: after that, power off your moto z and get it in fastboot mode
3: inside the folder where logo.bin is, hold ctrl+shift and right click anywhere and select OPEN COMMAND WINDOW HERE
4: execute the following command: fastboot flash logo logo.bin
after you turn on your device the banner telling you your phone can't be trusted should be gone
Flash this at your own risk, I do not take any responsibility on any mishappening with your phone.
I hope you find it helpful

Sure. However, the matter with the dark versión is that there is a small white text that still appears after you change the bootlogo image. In a white background the text dissapears.
I would also be very interested in a dark version. Is there a way to flash this from TWRP or does it need to be from fastboot?
Ok, I'll create a black version. I do not how to create TWRP flashable zips. Maybe someone else could do it.

thats cool, im trying to find out if i can or not, checking the partitions on the z2 force, it uses the a/b partition scheme like the Pixel does, so i have logofs, logo_a, and logo_b partitions. im assuming it would be either _a or _b
i used adb shell to make a dump of those partitions using dd. if i flash your logo.bin and it doesnt work (and assuming it doesnt bootloop) can i use the dump image to write it back using dd again?
I guess you could
Well that well 'n truely screwed my bootloader! I now have no android images in fastboot mode, and a white 'N/A' in tiny letters on an all black background!! ...great.
erfanrom Nougat 7.1.1, TWRP, TurboZ kernel.

here is the orignal Splash screen of Mi A1 without Unlocked warning.
Remove Unlocked warning by Flashing this Splash zip.
Just flash this zip with TWRP and Bootloader Unlocked warning will gone
1. Removed Unlocked Warning
2. Removed ( Your Device cant checked for Corruption) warning
It has nothing to do with any roms right?
no it's just boot screen
when you flash it you will never get Bootloader unlocked warning on phone startup anymore

If you want to revert back to stock splash screen, you can flash the stock firmware via edl or find the stock splash screen via twrp (I guess there on XDA will have the zip)
