Everytime I wake my watch "OK Google" appears for a few seconds on the main watch face right below the 12 o' clock hour number. How do I disable this because it's annoying me. I've looked all over the wear app and the watch settings but can't find anything to disable it. I'm sure it's easy and I just keep overlooking it.

Try this: http://www.talkandroid.com/guides/a...displaying-over-your-android-wear-watch-face/
Or this: https://www.reddit.com/r/AndroidWear/comments/3pvz78/disable_ok_google/
Say "Ok Google!" and step back. Do this 5 times. It'll be disappeared.

Let's face it, navigation notifications on the Moto 360 just eat the battery. I don't need them as I'm getting voice turn-by-turn navigation through my car stereo via bluetooth. So, is it possible to turn them off? I know I could put the phone in airplane mode but I don't want to turn off all notifications, just navigation.

I haven't tried it but you probably could go into the android wear application on your phone and mute google maps.

Thanks for the quick reply. I do see Google Maps under the Navigate option on the phone but I don't see any way to toggle it off.

Tap on the gears icon to the top right. Then go to Mute App Notifications and add google maps to that list.

So I tried the same thing. Though it's not called mute in my version. But I checked off 'maps' under 'block app notifications' but I still get random navigation cards "15 miles to work" and "20 minutes to new location" yet they are random locations at random times while I'm just sitting stationary... I work in line 10 spots in 2 towns with an ever changing schedule, this function isn't useful to me... But even with blocking maps I still get these. Anyone have an idea?

That is Google Now. Go into Google Now on the phone, and customise the settings to remove that function. I had the same issue including the weather updates constantly spamming me.

I don't mind the weather, and I actually did that after my post, in the settings... Then it happened again, opened Google note on my phone, selected the pop up and choose to no longer get notifications on navigation... And it happened again. This is the one issue I've had... :/
Thanks for great advice here. I am also solve this problem easily here.
So I just noticed in the past couple days, there was an update, and now whenever the watch face turns on it says "ok google" in white text at the top.
Is there a way to turn this off? I use traditional analog watch faces on my 360 and this text overlaying all the time is just annoying.

Just say "OK Google" and do a few searches. It will disappear after a few goes.

This. Maybe eventually they can have it when you skip the tutorial, it will allow you to also bypass having to use the Ok Google function a few times to get rid of it
.
Is there a way to stop the "OK Google" from appearing when you wake your watch face? I don't like when it covers my customer watch face.

Use it a few times and it will go away. It needs to feel wanted.

I tried to use hot word "Ok Google" 5 or 6 times. For example I said:
Ok Google, definition google
Ok Google, definition watch
... ...
After that, "Ok Google" disappeared completely. Just use it several times and it will understand that you've already known how to use it and it will disappear. It's logical.
Right after I posted this, it stopped showing up. Thanks for the reponses. Now is it possible to change "OK Google" as the activation key word? I feel weird shouting "OK Google" at my wrist.
In case anyone else stumbles upon this thread in the future, the current "best" solution (requiring the Android Wear 6.0 update) is to disable the microphone permission system-wide (on watch: Settings > Permissions > System permissions > Android Wear > Microphone).
On the watch face depending on which one you use you can move the "ok google" banner. While on some others you can not. Is there a way to turn it off completely. I dont need a constant reminder that I can say "ok google" every time I look at my watch.
Simply say OK Google and use it a few times. Once you use it two or three times, it disappears forever.
Hi guys!
In the past I had an Android watch, a Pebble, several Samsung watches... The best one so far was Android.
Samsung Galaxy watch would be almost perfect if it hadn't this stupid "feature"
In short, the notification dot on the watch is there to notify you when there are unread notifications on the watch, not on your mobile phone. One would say, so what, that's not a problem...
Figure this - if you have the " turn screen on" and "show notification details" options on, then everything you get on your watch gets dismissed immediately! How stupid is that??
Is there a workaround for this, am I the only one bothered by this?
I love how Android wear has this solved. Not only that you have a notification on your watch persistent until you dismissed it on your phone or your watch but also it shows details in a form of cards...
Same settings on my watch. Notifications don't get deleted
Mine do not get deleted too. However, if you clear the notification on your watch it does remove it from your phone too.

They don't get deleted, just the orange dot disappears, leaving me unaware of a new notification...

so easy just go to notification settings in the galaxy watch app and remove the toggle beside the turn on screen option. its useless anyways. if its on, the the orange dot wont appear because it auto dismisses it by design.

I know exactly what you mean. All notifications disappear way too easily! If you accidentally go to far, it's gone. Missed it! FTS! FFS!
I tried for long time to try to find a fix. Samsung has to fix this. NOTHING the user can do!

Yes, it's up to Samsung... but the problem is, nobody talks about it, I tried to Google the problem, haven't found anything...
It's like people don't see it or don't care about it...

But I want to see what's up in a glance when I feel the notification vibration on the watch. If I toggle it off, I will have to wake up the watch screen everytime to see what's going on...

I do like those two options, so I can immediately see the notification on my screen without touching it..... but the only interaction at that point is to scroll up or down to read the notification details or touch the three-dots on the right and select "Clear Notifications" If I clear notification, then that's what happens... notification gone (it would be nice if I could just swipe sideways to clear, because for some notifications I have to then scroll to the bottom of a list of options to select clear notifications). If I don't "Clear Notifications" and ignore it, then the notification disappears from the watch screen, The watch goes back to displaying the watch face, there will NOT be an orange dot on the watch face, but the notification will be in my watch's notifications queue for me to look at later, AND the notification will be on my phone.
Seems like that's about exactly how I want it.
I have "Mute connected phone" set in the Wearable app notifications settings, because if I am wearing my watch, I want the watch to be what notifies me; not my phone. Also, I have the new OneUI on the watch.
Same problem here. I'd like to have notifications to be persistent until I explicitly dismiss them. On my Galaxy watch a notification disappears after I saw it. Is there some setting? Thanks!
So I just got the galaxy watch 5 and had this problem. I found that some how my phone got put in do not disturb. Once I turned that off all my notifications came up.
