OnePlus 3 & Gear S2 - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

Is OnePlus 3 compatible with Samsung Gear S2?

Yup, works fine.

I just got my gear fit2. I am unable to launch samsung galaxy apps from samsung gear. After the "loading" splashscreen, I get a blank white screen with a spinning circle in the middle, then it stays that way. Is the samsung galaxy apps a separate app that I need to install? I'm on OOS 3.2.4.

Notifcations while sleep is on

Have a galaxy note 2 at work, Its locked normally, I'm wondering if there is an App or a way to set it up like an Iphone where if I get a text message or an email, I see a preview of it popup on the screen.
Is there a way to do this on the Galaxy Note 2 so I don't have to unlock it every-time I see the flashing blue light.

Updated to OTA 4.2.2- Pen home screen?

Ive updated my USA Note 8 with the OTA 4.2.2 update. Everything works fine but I noticed that before when pulling out the pen, the home page converts to the samsung note pad options. Now it doesnt when I pull out the pen and stays on my regular home screen.
How can I get this to pull up like before?

The page buddy feature has been removed by samsung from 4.2.2 since day one, feels strange considering it was one feature they went about in their marketing campaigns of note 8.
however, not sure if it will ever see the light of the day again, I liked it too.
They have added few contextual shortcuts to notification panel as a replacement, which i don't think cuts it though.

Under the SPen settings you can check Open Popup Note and it will bring up the note pad when you extract the pen. I have that checked on my Note 8 and Note 2, very handy, it even pops up when locked. I never figured out what to do with the Page Buddy feature on my Note 2 so I haven't missed it on the Note 8.

Infinite Scrolling of Home Screen Tab s 10.5 (ST M805)

I have Tab S (SM T805). Is there any way to infinite scrolling of home screen in TW ? Tab is not rooted.
I too want to know this.
im sure ive done it before, but now i have it with that left screen with email, planner smartstay etc.
i never use that screen, i thought it was something to do with the flipboard app but i disabled that and still the screen is there.

Turn off app drawer

Hi, just bought the S3. I was using the S2. On that with Nougat update i had the option to turn off the app drawer in the settings menu. Im sad to see, that on S3 its not an option? Is there any way to do this?
I went on a hunting expedition of my own on my Tab S3 (I have the international model) and I couldn't find it either. It wasn't on my Note 7 either (when I had that... Sigh)
My suspicion is that Samsung was play testing this feature, and put it on a few of their devices; but for whatever reason, decided it wasn't worth keeping.
I just picked up the Tab S3 and have been lokking for the same option, I know It's still an option on the S8+. Not sure why it's not on the Tab S3
First, long press the home screen then select home screen settings at the bottom right of screen. Next, select 'Apps Button' then select hide apps and hit apply.

Remove slow animation for Galaxy Watch notifications?

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Watch 42mm because it only just became available in stores in my country. (Yeah I know, a year late and its already old but unfortunately that's just the way it works in this part of the world)
Anyway...
Is there a way to shorten or remove the animation that appears on the galaxy watch when notifications are received?
Coming from my Huawei Watch GT, Apple Watch S4 and Garmin watches which immediately display the notifications, it is really annoying to have to wait for the animation to disappear before the actual message is displayed on the Galaxy Watch.
On other watches, I can quickly glance at the watch as soon as the notification arrives and the message is already displayed. On the Galaxy Watch, I usually have to check twice or wait a while and actually often end up missing the message being displayed. (Happens a lot in meetings or while driving where I don't hold my wrist up for long)
Does the Galaxy Watch Active 2 have this delay as well?
This is an excellent point. I also have the same problem with my GWA 2. There must be a way to get rid of these annoying notification animations.
I'm interested too
If there a developer mode to go into? To remove animations like on Samsung phones?

Would like 2 know too
If this notification animation was in Apple Watches, people would go crazy over it. What is the big point... It is just a small thing...
