I was able to successfully link ikono TV to Kodi on my Fire TV stick I bought on launch. However, the new Fire TV I just bought I can't get it link with Llama even after following the same steps. When I go to events menu in Llama, I can link any other app to launch but Kodi to ikono TV.
Anything I'm missing here?

I have my lama set for classic tv. do you want my lama files. You can put them in the lama directory and import from usb and you will be set. but you need to download classic tv. I dislike ikono.tv even as a sacrificial app but its available globally. You can change my profile to ikono easily once you have the files imported. PM me and I'll send it to your way.
Llama and kodi
You must 1st make sure your AFTV has the latest update from Amazon! Then it will restart and work fine! But make sure if you are using the AFTV for the 1st time that you go back and manually do the update! Hope this help have a great night!!
if you like to remot your fire TV on PC there is a greate possibility to do it with vysor - a Crome plugin.
( http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/vysor-android-emulator-windows-t3186197)
You need: Chrome -> Plugins -> search for vysor
ADB Driver installed
Find your Fire TV in your Network
Start your session - Then you can remote Fire TV in realtime -> when you use fire starter (http://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-tv/themes-apps/app-root-home-launcher-replacement-app-t3118135)
you can use Mouse and Keyboard in realtime
anyone know how i can launch the netflix app with a movie or tv id from adb?
As I know there is no way to do it for the Netflix version for the Fire TV (com.netflix.ninja) but for the other Netflix version (com.netflix.mediaclient) you could sideload it and then do it with this command:
Code:
adb shell am start -n com.netflix.mediaclient/.ui.launch.UIWebViewActivity -a android.intent.action.VIEW -d http://www.netflix.com/watch/60000724
The last number is the movie ID you want to watch, just change that number with the movie you want.
The big problem here is com.netflix.mediaclient doesn't work with the Fire TV remote control, you can't pause,, rewind, forward, and so.
I'm trying to find a way to:
A) Launch com.netflix.ninja with other command for example using the cast command, or
B) Mod com.netflix.mediaclient so the remote control from the Fire TV could work
I hope someone with more knowledge could help us with this.
EDIT: actually you can pause, rewind and forward but you would need to press your remote until you hover on the pause button and if you press right it will forward 30 seconds and left will rewind 30 seconds, also the resolution from the video is not as good as the Android TV version (com.netflix.ninja)
I'm on a Shield myself and unfortunately there is no UKTV Play and Audible native app for Android TV or the Shield.
Would anyone with a Fire TV stick be able to extract the APKs for the two apps?
UKTV Play: https://www.amazon.co.uk/UKTV-Play-Taskmaster-Richardson-Ultimate/dp/B00T85MGKA
Audible for FireTV: https://www.amazon.com/Audible-Inc-for-Fire-TV/dp/B01G4XZE3O
My brother got a hold of them.
For anyone that wants the apks.
http://www.mediafire.com/file/l7b9j1yusn8hjas/Audible_for_Fire_TV_10400210.apk/file
http://www.mediafire.com/file/y996gzdt3csxr02/UKTV_Play_Watch_Free_TV_On_Demand.apk/file
The Audible apk wont install on the shield. I'm getting the following error:
Package com.audible.application.firetv requires unavailable shared library com.amazon.client.metrics.api; failing!
The UKTV Player installs but will close after a couple of seconds. Using a cloner tool and removing Google services and adding compatibility layers fixes that it seems.
I ask too many questions. Lol.
So I already have my fire tv scaled properly to my screen using the built in display calibration, I already know this is not the problem.
But I am using the app Neko RPG XP to play RPG maker games on my Fire TV. The app menu displays just fine, but as soon as I load a game, the game screen is way too big, and overscans past the boarders of the fire tv display area. Even when I calibrate the display size all the way down, this is still an issue.
Is there any known way to calibrate the size of the app display itself?

You can do it via ADB:
Code:
//Connect ADB using wireless
adb connect (Fire TV IP)
//Enter ADB shell
adb shell
//Adjust overscan
wm overscan [reset|LEFT,TOP,RIGHT,BOTTOM]
//Example
wm overscan 50,50,50,50
//Reset to defaults
wm overscan reset

Thank you for the answer. Unfortunately this did not help me. This did shrink the size of the app window, but when I open a game, the game still breaks past the edges of the app window itself.
In the included screenshot I sent the command:
Code:
wm overscan 100,100,100,100
then tested the game. you can easily see the boarders of the app/game window, and the blank space that is the actual set display scale (3%) of the Fire TV. Despite the app/game window being so small, you can see how the text box is cut off.
So it seems that the problem is not the size of the app window, but rather how the app is displaying the game. within theconfines of the size of the app window.
I acknowledge that this may not be fixable, due to it being an app issue, and not a FIre TV issue, but any more ideas to solve this issue would be appreciated!
Okay. Well I just found the answer to this problem.
By pressing f3 on my usb keyboard, it shrunk down the game to 4:3 aspect ratio instead of 16:9.
So now, between that and the overscan command, I should be able to get the game to fill my screen without cutting off. Here is to hoping that the image doesn't degrade from forcing that 4:3 image back up to 16:9.
