error in titile: should wrote "saturation" instead of "hue"
Is there a special tweak app or XPosed module to reduce color saturation of the screen?
I like more "calm" colors than HTC 10 provides in settings. I've set screen mode to sRGB but colors are still too popping. I was using Zenfone 2 before and i liked the way they allowed to adjust the saturation in standard settings.
If you use the Elemental X kernel you can use the EX Kernel Manager app to adjust saturation, etc.

Nope. Such apps can only adjust brightness or add some tint.
Color saturation can be adjusted only through kernel tweaks - which means app should be exactly for HTC 10, not generic one.

Hey,
I was wondering if it is possible to increase the level of brightness in general with auto-brightness.
I am running AKOP B25

I haven't been able to find anything, but I'm pretty sure romanbb is adding the options soon, if u didn't no cm9 has the options now, still pretty plain rom atm but that feature is in there
Yeah, that's exactly what I am talking about. An overall brighter auto-brightness setting.
That's great that it is in cm mod, but imo, cm mod isn't really up to par yet (compared to AOKP)

Having come from iOS, I also find the auto brightness on the GNEX (or ICS?) to be too dull to begin with. It adjusts fine once out in the bright sunlight, but in a normal light room it is far too dark. I've resorted to just putting my brightness at a set 40%.
I guess this is a feature that is lacking in ICS compared to iOS, as you can still set your brightness while it is in auto mode.
Try this app
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.vito.lux.free
It does auto brightness according your set points at various level samples. Then does the rest for you.
Paul o'brian of modaco's posted some flashable scripts when the phone first came out to increase the auto brightness levels.
If the app above doesn't do the trick, I've had good luck with log graph from the market.
We have a custom built autobrightness changer in our upcoming rom.

you can change auto brightness to anything you want for any rom by modifying frameworks apk. here's an tutorial i wrote up to do it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1491321
Not on the fly you can't
im running apex right now and it also allows you to change auto brightness settings in android. i think CM9 too, this feature should be in every rom. looking forward to checking out your new rom adrynalyne.
Has anyone implemented this yet? I'm surprised I've not seen anything about it as the notification LED is so poor compared to the multicolored one I had on my galaxy nexus. Being able to use the key backlight would be a good improvement.

thats possible like On the Galaxy S its Called BLN, but I guess It will consume a bit more power.
BLN requires a kernel mod to support it which, as far as i'm aware, isn't present in any of the custom kernels.

yes, if allot of people want this, we could make this step
I don't know how useful this would be - I would much rather have full control of the notification light i.e. how long to blink notification light for after receiving a notification and which apps activate notification light.
Nothing can beat the N1 trackball alert
The One X notification light is smaller than a needle point
Is there no interest in this then?

BLN had this huge problem where it would cause a wake lock and prevent the device from going to deep sleep; thus draining a lot of juice.

This Xposed module is basically allows to change colors of statusbar like Tinted Statusbar and all. Some features is not usable because its a Nexus 4 not G2, Bleed throught Immersive mode is PAID feature but worth it.
Here is the link for this module : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tinyroar.xposedlgg2

It works fine.
I downloaded it and I loved it.
I paid for the bleed thru and it's great!!
Wish I could add more apps or custom colors like TintedStatusBar xposed but I don't mind for right now since the bleed thru immersive implements the change better and it looks way smoother. Looking forward to future updates.

Some stuff is still grayed out I'm guessing because its a Nexus 4 and not a G2 but most stuff is still usable.
And the Bleed thru immersive mode is paid for feature. I think you should add that to the OP

Hey. I'm searching for a Custom ROM (preferably stock Android) for my RN5Pro, that would allow me to calibrate colors, since my model suffers from image retention. Thanks in advance.

Out of curiosity, how'd you fix image retention with KCAL?
Pixel Experience supports KCAL with its already built-in Derp Kernel. I tried adjusting the RGB values to 240, but image retention would still occur.

I've found settings that actually get rid of it, it's enough to set them and let the screen rest for like 30 minutes, maybe an hour and bam!, no image retention anymore~

I don't see this much of a difference, if I had to guess, colors are maybe a bit colder, but that's all.
I want to be able to browse XDA sites with dynamic theming so that the site is dark during night and light/white during the day? How to achieve this? I am not talking about a browser extension like Dark Reader. I would prefer native method.
Just like he did with VoLTE, I'm sure @karandpr can fix this!
That was a joke (he didn't really fix VoLTE, lol) but I think it's a great idea. You can of course always select a theme quickly with the button bottom left of every page. Perhaps it can be achieved with a timed script for now?
I guess I will have to resort to using Dark Reader for now.

I don't think dynamic theming works on websites yet i believe it only works on applications and parts of system such as accent color and background.
