Hello.
I decided to root my OP 3 using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/oneplus-3-how-to-unlock-bootloader-t3398733.
After unlocking bootloader I need some kind of password. Any help?
Also when I launch TWRP, I get to type password again.
"Unable to decrypt data witch default password. You may need to perform a Format Data.
You were asked to chose, when you first started phone, if you want a pin at the start of android. It's probably same as the pin for unlock screen, tough I'm not sure if I just put them the same so I don't forget.
How to factory reset if i'm stuck on input password when loading into system and can't go to twrp cause data decypt.

Your Data : Files, Pgotos, Music etc will be lost but..
Boot into bootloader, and through fastboot, type "fastboot format userdata",and reboot.
Enjoy your device again.
Thanks.. Already fix with fastboot method..

And after some attempts they say: You have 8 more attempts, then will your data be deleted. Can somebody help me? I did not found an Internetpage where is explained something like this...

Thanks to Nakum for the assistance. (Nakum can be found at drnakum on Yuforums or at dr.nakum on XDA) and to Mr.Anish for telling us that the latest TWRP recovery works.
Ok guys, so Nakum succesfully managed to root the device and I was able to do so as well. The Procedure is similar to Yureka, except you use the latest TWRP version and the latest chainfire SU binary 2.46.
This method can be done using a Hot boot or by flashing. If you want to retain the original recovery, do it by hotboot. If you want a vustom recovery, then flash it.
Here is a noob friendly guide.
1) Enable Developer Option (Go to Settings-> About Phone -> Tap on Build number 7 times)
2) Go to Developer Option and disable Update Recovery
3) Enable Android Debugging
4) Install the 15-Second ADB driver file (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979)
5) Download adb+fastboot zip (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934556622)
6) Download Su binaries (https://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU)
7) Copy UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip to an SD card
8) Download TWRP (https://s.basketbuild.com/uploads/devs/vishal_android_freak/yu/yureka/TWRP_V2.8.7.0_YUREKA.img)
8) Connect Phone to PC and navigate to the folder where you have abd+fastboot
9) Shift+right click -> Open command prompt
Type : adb devices
If your device is connected you will get it in connected devices
Type : adb reboot-bootloader
Your phone will restart into bootloader.
Type : fastboot -i 0x1ebf oem device-info
If your bootloader is unlocked, it will say "True", else it will say "false". If it is False, then do the next step
Type : fastboot -i 0x1ebf oem unlock
WARNING : All your userdata will be GONE! Now you can root your phone in two ways
Method 1 : If you want to retain the Original Recovery - Hot boot
Type : fastboot -i 0x1ebf boot TWRP_V2.8.7.0_YUREKA.img
This will launch TWRP on your device. Navigate to where you saved the UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip file. Flash it, wipe Cache, Reboot and you are rooted!
Method 2: If you want to flash Custom Recovery - Flash
Type : fastboot -i 0x1ebf flash recovery TWRP_V2.8.7.0_YUREKA.img
Your Cyanogen recovery will be replaced with TWRP. Then, unplug your device, hold volume up+down+power to boot into recovery, navigate to where you saved the UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip file. Flash it, wipe Cache, Reboot and you are rooted!
Hit thanks/like if this helped
Hope this helps! If you guys need any clarification, feel free to ping me!! Have fun!
EDIT : For those stuck in a bootloop! After flashing TWRP, go to Wipe and hit Format Data...then reboot to recovery (everything will be mounted by now) and flash the chainfire SU binaries. Reboot and everything should work fine. The phone may be stuck in the "Cyanogen" screen for a goot 5-10 mins before the apps start loading...so stay patient.

Wow wow champ...chill. Tell is what you did exactly and I will tell you how to recover your phone.
Btw this is for the others....just to show that rooting works.
This method works. But I got some bug with the TWRP installation in one of the phones. It wasn't able to reboot the phone or switch it off via recovery. So I think I'll probably try reinstalling the recovery. On the second device, this method worked flawlessly. A third one will be arriving later, by next week. I'll probably try installing CWM next time. If possible, make a video, or give more info in the steps to help people figure out if they performed the steps correctly or not, because the phone has been recently launched, and there's not a lot of information about it on the internet. Anyways, many thanks for the guide! CHEERS!
---------- Post added at 06:29 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:12 AM ----------
Also, If you could add some information on how to reset the phone to its stock settings, and stock recovery, that would be great. I wasn't able to fix the TWRP problem by reinstalling it. So I would like to go through all the steps from the start again.
And I managed to soft brick my device, when I tried CWM on it. Is there a way I can enter download mode manually I mean by button combinations?
---------- Post added at 07:53 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:40 AM ----------
I fixed it, but the recovery is still not working like it should. It did work on the other device though. I don't know what the issue is. Need to figure out a way to go back to stock recovery.

I'm skipping the adb part.
- First rebooted the phone In bootloader via adb
- Then unlocked the boot loader
(i noticed in bootloader device
Tampered was true even though i just got my device and box was sealed may be this could be the reason of brick?)
- Then flashed(not booted) twrp from above link.
- Then rebooted in to recovery
- Tried to take back up but it didnt work (mounting /data failed)
- Then used pen drive via otg to flash superuser ( it flashed but only on /system, /data was again failed to mount)
- Then restarted
- but after yu logo phone restart it self in to twrp then format /cache then restart again
Then this goes forever

Hey guys.... I also tried rotting my Yureka plus and after following everything, I get stuck on the bootloop... after wasting 3 hours on net, I tried some steps myself and it fixed the issue.
Let me tell you the steps which I did:
Switched off my Yureka.. took the memory card out....
rebooted to TWRP recovery, I went to "wipe" > "format data"..
Data was successfully foramtted.
ALL DONE!!!!!!!!!
Now, you will be able to mount data and flash SuperSU without any issues...
It can take 4 to 5 minutes for the phone to start up (on the "Cyonogen" logo").
If you are experiencing issues, you can email me at asksree24by @ gmail.com
If you are stuck in a bootloop, just format data and everything will work. Let it load for a while. Dont worry...it stays in the cyanogen logo for a good 5-10 mins easily.
Thank you so much
Now its booting

Okay the same thing happened with me yesterday with my friend's yuphoria but i managed to get it to work after 2 hours of hit and trial methods, first of all you will need to install the stock recovery(debuggable) for the phone and then do a factory data reset and then flash the twrp recovery again and then wipe data, cache, dalvik and everything in the advanced wipe section. this will erase everything on the device, even the rom(at least in my case it said 'no OS installed'). Since there in no custom rom available for the device currently, you will have to download the stock rom (fastboot version) and have to flash everything using fastboot.
Good luck

How can I do that bro? my phone keeps restarting again and again, it restarts right back into TWRP.
I try put MIUI8 on my OnePlus3 and I get, but on boot of the MIUI show me this phrase "Enter current lock screen password to decrypt device after reboot" but i don't have any password because i format all files of the Phone and the USB-Debugging is desactivated and i can't see the files on my computer... ;-;

Formatting userdata helped me once in that situation. Note: you'll lose any data in that partition.

Revert to your previous ROM and disable all the encryption, PINS, etc and try clean flashing the MIUI ROM. This might help to get rid of the encryption error! btw, what is the TWRP version you are using for flashing because several TWRP's have this decryption bug! Hope it helps!
Do you have TWRP. You can delete the security files for the lockscreen.
Thanks but is resolved, i don't need more help !
Hello,
Whenever i encrypt my phone on DU, when i set the lock screen Password it asks me if i want the phone to ask it to be able to boot, but then, the phone refuses to boot and says that the Password is wrong.
But when i boot into twrp the Password works and i can decrypt the data partition.
I already had the issue but with the phone accepting the boot pin but twrp not.
This is on a fresh DU install with previously formated data partition.
DO NOT encrypt via custom roms: it's cause of troubles and compatibility issues, especially when returning to OxygenOS.
So:
1) Put device in bootloader mode, plug it to computer, type fastboot format userdata via ADB terminal.
2) Go in TWRP and wipe all the partitions (be sure to have /cache formatted in ext4, otherwise change its filesystem):
3) Always from TWRP, flash latest OOS firmware (4.1.6 or OB19);
3) Reboot and configure setup with your PIN required at bootup;
4) After completing wizard, reboot in TWRP;
5) Now you can wipe anything and flash your rom.
Now device should require your PIN even at first boot of DU.
Ps until doing another fastboot format userdata, device will keep encryption.

If members had to wait for thumbs up before they answer to someone's post then they wouldn't answer most of them.
What kind of **** philosophy is this, i hope for you that's not your way of thinking everyday.
And even, that's none of your business, maybe i forgot to like his post ?
Come on, do not vent on XDA, do not make useless quarrels ?
@nikexv2 sorry, but technically speaking, I don't know the reason of problematic encryption on custom roms.
Just enable encryption with official firmware and there's no other compatibility issue.
Encryption still remains when you full wipe device via recovery.
Have a good day.

Not sure what's wrong with your set up but I came from OOS OB19 to DU, wiped userdata to switch data to ext4, flashed DU + beans gapps (recommended for DU) then booted up, encrypted my phone via Settings > Security and set ask pin on booting device, same pin has worked on all ROMs, even tried some OOS based ones like Freedom OS CE, now on Omni + open gapps, I'm using blu spark latest recovery.
Why proper pin code doesn't decode internal storage partition im TWRP?
You need to turn your screen lock off to remove that encryption

Hi!
I'm having a nightmare today and I was wondering if any could have a good solution. So in short: My battery ran out, I thought it was charging while connected to a laptop, but it wsn't and this morning it was quite empty... then I plugged the phone again to the same laptop, but the phone was rebooting (like 3 times or so) and suddenly: BSOD! bad boot. It seems the boot got corrupted. Error is: "File. \ EFI \ Microsoft \ Boot \ BCD. Error code: 0xc000014c".
If this would have been a desktop, I'd have solved the problem in a glance with an usb stick with w10 and entering to cmd line to fix the BCD. Here... well, I don't know what to do. I tried to charge the battery and i think there's a bit of battery now, but the phone restarts afterone minute in that bsod. I tried to connect it to my pc and is not being recognized. I downloaded the tool from microsoft "Windows Device REcovery tool" and at the end, it recognizes it, but of course, if I use that it will do a hard reset and all my data will be lost. I don't have a backup of photos and contact lists on the phone drive (luckily many were in the sd). So i'd like just to recover the bcd as in a desktop and avoid doing a hard reset, or at least to recover all that stuff before. Is there any way? Even if I have to pay and send it to some place. I tried contact with B2X support, but after filling all the form they ask for, it gives me an error and there's no way of contacting them.
Any one got this problem before? Thank you very much!
PS. If I have to do a hard reset, is there any program that can recover data with the "device connection"? I mean, you can recover data from hdd, but when you lug a phone, this is like a special "device"
TRy WInternals, unlock bootloader and do an backup of data partition. , but i dont think it will work. . Laptops are bad. charging my phone from laptop looks more like the phone is charging back.

In normal I have this bsod and i don't see how to recover the data. For mass storage it says it's red... is it ok to enter to it? or do i have to do something special?
Read carefully everything. And think twice before click on anything.
So, go to manual mode, mass storage, start unlocking and when the phone enter first time mass storage, go to data partition and copy your stuf.. Ignore the press power to reboot message. After that you may reboot but the phone wont start (i dont werified but i suppose), is when you need to reflash ffu.

I cannot. the phone reboots and goes directly to "normal mode". It boots as normal, although wpinternals is looking for this storage mode. Sometimes, I have seen a red screen with the symbol you can see with wpinternals in the phone, with a progress bar, which is empty, but then suddenly reboots after a second or two. Should I restore the bootloader and try again doing it?

Yep. I'm using ffu from here https://www.lumiafirmware.com/model/RM-1085. and then?
Then what? Go to dump section, chose ffu, chose efiesp output folder, dump,, get the efiesp.bin and flash to your phone, using flash section of wpinternals.
