Hi, I changed the battery of z1c, but when I try to charge it, red leds flash and the phone cannot charge and turn on.
What should I do?
Open the phone and connect the battery or change it, it might be a bad one.

I've fixed it by checking the battery connector, a piece inside was folded.
Hey guys, I have the same issue. Is it just the new battery **** or I to do smthg to charge it ? I've only got this red light flashing.
When I put back the old battery it is all OK ant the phone starts and charges correctly. But with the new battery I've only got this red light flashing.

hey guys i just bought a new battery for my jasjar, the phone isnt booting even if the charger is plugged in, it only boot for like 6 seconds before it turn off again, even if i charged the new battery for 10 hours, even there is no orange led tell that the battery is charging... i plugged the phone into the USB cable with the pc and a fast flashing red light comes from the led (like 3 flashes per second) so what is the problem? is the new battery damaged or what? please help

red light means extremely low batt.....guess your battery is faulty
i got the same thing.
and no it's not the battery.
it's the charging circuit on the main hardware isn't working.
open your phone and check the five small wires that they connect the mini usb to the main mother board, one of them must be cut.

so, is there a solution to this? or there really is nothing more for the device but the trash bin or for spare parts?
Have you tried this?

If you already replaced the battery and nothing, and you want to get rid of dear Uni place it for sell in parts on marketplace, a lot of people will go for it!

I had exactly the same thing with my old battery, after my try to discharge it with a lil electro-motor. then i found a post of a guy with the same thing, who fixed it-by "zapping" the UNI battery with a 9V battery, connecting + to + and - to -,for a few second. I tried it without thinking twice. It worked for me. Dunno how and why,but it did. I use the battery again, normal. But beware,it is dangerous to play with this type of battery,it can explode. Do a search on this subject and you will see
I agree with keeping_sg
how long have you left your uni on the charger?
just plug it in and leave it on the charger all night and see what happens.
I bought yesterday a 4800mAh battery from Hong Kong... 10 euros included shipping + FREE black back cover
Good battery life but still prefer to carry 2 original sized batts rather than get that big one, making even bigger our Uni
Respectfully,
Yes, that absolutely means your battery is dead. Try charging for a few more hours and then turn on your PocketPC. If the error persists, try changing the battery.

Carty..

Hi!
Tonight my phone ran out of battery, and the red light [the one on the speaker] turned on as usual, and the phone was off [strange]. But when i try to connect to the AC, the red led is still turned on, and i cannot turn on my phone
Do you know what's the problem in this case?
[when i disconnect the phone from the AC, the red light disappears, but no rensponse from the phone when i try to turn on.]
Is it a battery problem?
thanks for the help!

Try taking out the battery for a few and letting the phone reset then reinserting the battery and just letting it charge even if the red light is on. I figure if it's plugged in it has to still get power so maybe after some time it will charge.
Hope this helps

Looks like you need to replace your battery my friend. If you have a red light means that your battery is not working properly or not working at all. Try to clean the battery terminals (where the battery makes contact with the phone), sometimes it works. If you still don't see the amber light when you plug the AC, it's time to get a new one. You can find cheap ones on ebay. Good Luck
I had the same problem my problem was the charger, used a usb-pc to charge phone now i have no more problems. Could be a knock off battery cheap battery.
Any idea what's wrong? I plug the phone into my computer with a USB cable, and I've also tried using the wall socket attachment, but all that happens is the phone's battery icon goes from somewhat filled blue (it's currently in the 70s percent-wise) to flashing an empty red battery icon, then back to blue, then red, etc.
What causes this? I didn't have these problems a week ago and I've changed nothing. Is it the battery? Software problem?
Taking the battery out and putting it back in seems to fix it, but I'm wondering if there is an alternative. Maybe the problem is caused by the Battery Indicator app?
Thanks.
Turn phone off charge overnight then
turn it on charge it till blue light comes on.
turn it off let blue light come on
boot into recovery and wipe battery stats

I destroyed phone battery
So I ordered new from eBay
I opened the device as show on YouTube
I replaced battery and the device does not turn on anymore
When I plug it has a red light charge but the device does not turn on
What could be the problem??
And how to fix it??
Maybe you damaged something more..Open your hox again check connectors again..

I'm really afraid that I destroyed something
May be invalid battery and it fails to load??
It could be..But open your device check everything..And also check the battery voltage..

The device still does not turn on
Go to service, just ask them do diagnose what's the problem..
Hello,
1/ The phone restarted alone.
2/ There was a bootloop
3/ When i flashed a new rom, the phone restarted alone in the recovery
4/ There was still a bootloop
5/ Now, there are no boot and no red led when charging
If i freeze the phone, i see the red led only for 2 minutes when charging...
My phone is dead ?
Or the battery is dead ?
Thanks !
Replace battery. The battery and/or charger likely doesn't provide enough peak current to boot up on.
The flash may have got corrupted if the battery/cable wasn't providing enough power.
The charger port pcb may have failed if the new battery won't charge. If not those you're looking at possible mobo failure.
Thanks for your answer.
The red light blink only in the freezer (still doesn't start).
No red light after 1 min outside the freezer.
It's really a problem of battery ? How its possible...

Yeah don't put it in the freezer...
Most likely suspects first... batteries are relatively cheap. Next the pcb port, then mobo unless you spot obvious damage or loose connections.
