Hi, i've a Lg g3 with Fulmics Rom, i'm really happy with it but the battery life is terrible. Before upgrading to Fulmics Rom i was stuck on CloudyG3, i switch between roms every time with a clean install. I really like Marshmallow but switching back to Lollipop wouldnt be a problem. So, for Battery Life, Performance and Camera what is the best rom? Thanks for the support and sorry for the noobish question, i know that there isn't a best rom in absolute, but i'm here to hear the advices for your personal experience.
i guess you asking for PokemonGO, right?
anyway check this link.

Hi.
I'm here, cause i want to know which one is the "best" ROM for our LG G3.
Can you guys help me ? I want to put a new ROM on my phone but i don't know which one will be the best.
Thanks in advance.
bump.
bump.
EDIT*
If u check closely every rom has a problem, some is fast but drains battery, some have good battery life but bt or gps are not working.. Imo flash stock MM, root it, get xposed and enjoy, i have very good performance and bout 5.5 screen on time. Cheers
hello everyone,
i've replaced my G3 with a S7 Edge and i wanted to give my phone to my daughter who is more willing to have a stable and durable phone than a fast and short life mobile.
so my question is simple, over all the Android ROMS and versions (Kitkat, Lollipop, Marshmallow & Nougat), which one is the best in term of stability & overall battery?
she does not need any rooting or special tweaks.
thanks for your recommendations

Hello,
I would recommend Marshmallow ROMs.
Something like Cyanogenmod 13,Stable,Fast,Easily disabled Root Access(it's disabled by stock).
No bugs and crashes at all. The battery with a lowered brightness(40%),can easily make a day (normal usage example wifi, data, location All ON messaging,(messenger)
And while playing games it can stay 3-4,5 hours and maybe more.
Also with Doze feature, the battery has more durability when the phone isn't being used.
So my opinion is Cyanogenmod 13.(And that's what I'm using right now)
Greetings.
thank you very much! i'll give it a try this evening
If you ever find the cm 13 ROM, let me know. Im looking for it on the d852.
Thanks
Ok so I have been on OCTOS for a while and I see like no one else is on it, so I thought it maybe isn't that great. For some reason it unrooted itself, so I went back to 30d on the T-mobile G3 with supersu. I am now looking for the best Custom Rom in regards to camera quality or if another apk will look work well with another rom. I am sick of the OCTOS grainy camera. I also don't want bad battery and a slow experience, so if there is some rom that is smoother with better camera please let me know. I will take better camera over performance if it is only a small drop though.
Try Fulmics. Based on stock lg ux 5.0, the camera is same as stock. Performance is the best it gets on stock lg rom. I am running it and i really love it. Battery life is around 4h SOT depending on usage. Also xposed is working fine. Glad if i helped

Thank you very much. Can you send me a link with instructions please? Is the performance almost as good as stock Nougat or is it a lot slower? Also is Fulmics 6.0 or 7.0?

You have all the instructions in the OP. As for performance i can tell you that you wont see the same fluidity and speed as it is on AOSP roms especially nougat. AOSP will always be better in performance because of the pure android base. Fulmics in performance is almost there but you will see the difference as it is lg stock ui. Hope i helped.

Aw no Nougat. Camera is very important to me though, so as long as it is only a bit laggy then all is good. Thank you very very much for your help and I hope you have a nice day

Ok, so I installed the rom, but now it is like switching between launchers. Am I supposed to flash it onto stock instead of onto something else?

Yes it helped a lot. The camera is much better although it is still not as good as a new camera from like the pixel, but it actually looks decent instead of a complete mess. Keep in mind the battery life in fulmics is fantastically terrible same with the time it takes to turn off/on the phone.
Hi, I'm thinking about installing a custom ROM. Could anyone here please give me a summary of how much it's better compared to the stock One UI ROM? If it's better at all, of course. Especially in terms of battery life.
Many thanks!
might been a late reply but ofcourse a customized custom rom will have better battery life and some other benefits ...
It's been a long time since I installed a rom on a device.
However I found my lg g3 and wanted to give it new life.
The battery life is crucial is my main requirement, however it would not be bad to have also excellent performances.
So I trust you. What are your recommendations?
Sorry for bad english
hi ! i also wanna know what the best rom to use

Just go with Lineage.. Try ResurrectionRemix and CRDroid for most tweaks, great performance, but average battery life. You have to find what is right with you and all your apps on your specific phone model. I find best battery life to be on CleanROM, but it is outdated. Still works fine though, just missing newer OS features. I am on a D850 and I rotate OS every few weeks and always come back to Candy7, CleanROM, or LineageOS as I seem to always get random reboots on anything else.

Assuming you do not care about security updates... I would use CleanROM (or Fulmics, but I prefer CLeanROM) for best battery, best camera quality, AND performance. I would use Candy7 for best performance (stable, smooth, and fast) IMO but a little lacking in battery and is missing some tweaks/features.. If you do care about security updates, latest Android features, and dont mind a mediocre battery then stick with Lineage 16 for now until 17 gains more traction. You will find decent performance and battery life in LineageOS, but not as good battery life as in CleanROM or Fulmics.. Try ResurrectionRemix and CRDroid for most tweaks, great performance, but average battery life. You have to find what is right with you and all your apps on your specific phone model. I do not see a lot of updated ROMs out there for this specific model. If I had a D724, I would try...
