Hi all.
after long time no active because of the rush on my work, and I now have a little time to do this. So I want to use it to share with you all.
And this a little of my job. you might want to try it.
by the way,.. now I am a new user of Xiaomi device (Redmi 3). I don't know why the default music player on my device can't display the album art if the file is FLAC. so I returned to this player.
REQUIREMENTs :
• Rooted
• Deodexed
• Custom recovery installed (TWRP, etc)
• Used MIUI 7.x / MIUI 8

* NOTES :
After flashing walkman above, if you want to update to the latest version (Music) to get more feature like sleep timer, Downlaod/edit music info, etc, Now you can directly update via Google play store. (I personally use the old one because I love its style.. ).
And if you don't use Google Play Store, you can download manually. link below.
Just install the apk.
Download : Music 9.1.11.A.0.2.apk
HOW TO INSTALL :
# This for Redmi 3/Pro using ROM MIUI 7.5 by Xiaomi.eu
• Download WALKMAN, then copy to internal SD/external SD
• Reboot into TWRP
• Wipe cache and dalvik cache/art
• Flash WALKMAN
• Reboot system
# This for universal Xiaomi device using MIUI 7/8 based LP
• Download WALKMAN, then copy to internal SD/external SD
• Then you should insert this into build.prop on your device, place at the very bottom. save and exit.

why ? or I do something wrong

I think you have another sound effect on your device such as audioFX, etc. Try to delete audioFX or similar app.

thanks for suggestion, i deleted Music.apk and MusicFx.apk.
my sound enhancement and clear audio finally appear, but equalizer is not working and also my clear audio + seems doesn't working too.
is still any system app must be deleted? or just the two apps. I realize that my mi sound enhancer (default miui sound enhancer) still working but i dont know how to delete that

About MIUI enhancer is not affected for this mod, both will work together if you enable.
Are you install walkman for miui 7.5 by xiaomi eu or Walkman for universal xiaomi device (option 2)?
And please check walkman tweak/script at build.prop on your device. If nothing... Please add manually.

I installed walkman for miui 7.5 by xiaomi.eu and i'm sure build.prop script is installed properly, maybe i'll try to reflash my ROM and install this walkman again

After reflash rom again, disabling MusicFx.apk first, and then install walkman, voila all features works now. Thanks @ibanez7 nice works for porting this walkman :good:

Hi @ibanez7, would it be possible for you to dig out / port a version of walkman that works on MM based MIUI 8 (Oneplus 2)? I've tried many versions floating around, some install fine, but won't start...

do you mean Audio Setting(EQ) can't start or no sound? if so, first you need to remove audiofx or something similar, and then edit your original audio_effect.conf from your ROM base

Thanks for this, but as the MIUI 8 I was using isn't stable enough for me (worst thing is, my watch won't connect correctly), I switched back to CM 14 where the universal apk of Sony Music is working just fine. As soon as a new build of MIUI 8 (on MM base) gets published, I'll try what you posted. However, the problem wasn't just the eq, but the whole Sony Music app which didn't start at all (just FC'd after trying to open it). If it happens again on a new build, I'll get you a logcat.

Excuse me sir, I wanna ask, do you have the Uninstaller zip for this music player? It's because my phone got bootloop after I flashed in wrong version Miui, it's my false, I hope you could help me.. Thanks before. Please reply this Asap

It's working great on Redmi Note 3 running MIUI 8.0.6.0. No issues so far. Default MIUI equalizer in settings is also without any problem. Is it possible to add Xperia xz sound processing and port xloud without breaking default MIUI equalizer?

Tried on latest miui8 global beta but no use, sony sound enhancement did not work at all, Even I try to modify audio_effect.conf manually.. any advice mas bro @ibanez7 ?

Mine works on XT7 xperience. Just follow the instructions though i think he means semc not somc on the build prop line.

i think your updater-script is wrong, i modified the updater-script and flashing that to my XS n work but crash my phonebook and phone application.
Maybe mount system first if nothing is changed...

Requirements:
I personally using Xperia S Locked Bootloader with Deodexed Stock .45 firmware. If u're the same then great.
1. ICS Rom (RXE don't support JB Roms or XZX, Audio mod support ICS and JB)
2. Rooted and has CWM
2. Deodexed Rom
3. Xperia S/acro S/ion (MSM8260 chip/Cortex A8 with neon) (For V4A FX to work)
4. Recommended Clean Rom No need wipe DATA, just reflash SYSTEM, wipe CACHE & APPS LOG in flashtool.
(!) Unlocked Bootloader have to see tutorial to regain BE2 & DL Music Info
Instructions:
1. Make sure u met requirements.
2. Reboot into CWM, Wipe Cache/Dalvik-Cache
3. Flash latest build prop lines, flash AIO, flash RXE.
4. Reboot, After Android Upgrade, no bootloop.
5. Extract SDCard_V4A.zip to root of sdcard.
6. Done.
For custom rom, you'll face some apps FC, see solutions below.
Updating to v8
If u're on v7
1. Flash on top to overwrite. Build.prop lines same as v5.
If u're on v5/6
1. Recommended install on clean rom. Build.prop lines same as v5.
If u're on older versions:
1. No shortcut, Do a clean install. No need wipe DATA, just reflash SYSTEM, wipe CACHE & APPS LOG in Flashtool.
Updating build.prop lines
Important: Build prop lines should be flashed only once. Unless system is reflashed.
1. Reboot into CWM, flash Latest build prop lines zip.
2. Reboot, After Android Upgrade, no bootloop, Done.
3. If you are advanced enough, remove old buildprop lines manually if exists.
**Fix RXE FCs** (Happens on Custom Roms & Unclean Stock Roms)
ICS rom users,

Album FC - Replace with the working album apk from ur rom
Movies FC - Clear Movies data in settings/apps/all
SoundEnhancement FC - Clear sound enhancement app data in settings/apps/all
Jellybean rom users, (almost every app FC)
So just replace those FC apps with your rom's default apk.
eg: WALKMAN FC - Replace SemcMusic.apk in /system/app/ with your JB rom's original SemcMusic.apk
**How To Switch Music Effects // Tricks to avoid Audio Conflict**
1. Shutdown WALKMAN.
2. Go Settings > Sound > Music Effects and select desired music effect, Minimize Sound Settings.
NOTE: Both XHiFi and FX will run together no matter which one u choosed in Sound Settings.
3. Start WALKMAN, go to Sound Enhancement and make sure its redirected to ur selected music effect. Return to WALKMAN.
5. Play Music. To test:
If u choosed V4A, Check FX/XHiFi "Driver Status".
If u choosed Sound Enhancement, Test Equalizer.
If u choosed SRS Panel, Set your SRS settings then restart Walkman to take effect.

Cause i dont have ion device, but those threads can be made pretty easy.
If ur stock rom already deodexed and rooted, stay clean and dont make too much data.

Hi !.
im waiting on my xperia SL (LT26ii) to arrive and im collecting all the mods/roms/kernel i might want to try but, since i´ve read a LOT (a whole lot) here on xda about how the SL and the S are the same phone except for the 1.7Ghz processor on the SL, every mod/rom/kernel out there for the S should work just fine with the SL...
thing is some people say it has worked for them just fine and others say just don´t put xperia S stuff on xperia SL i don´t know what to try and might end up with a stock SL for a while...though i understand about flashing roms and cwm and flashtool and that stuff.
so i thought i might start with "small" mods for my SL, so i was wondering if any of these would work ? thanks, sorry for wall of text and bad english! :good:

No harm using S mods on SL. Its just some replacement of system files and apps.
Most importantly, dont touch bootloader or kernal. Custom roms for XS are not recommended too.
Just curious, can u guys see the recommended symbol which is a music note? ♫
Cause xda app cannot view it.

incrediblebass i didnt try before, but u will regret if u dont use v4a fx and xhifi.
See my 2nd post's audio effect list. Those are toggles and settings control panel, not some crappy audio tune in background.
Dynamic bass in V4A FX is superior. Hi clarity in Xhifi is also unbelievable.
One hint, i can use normal apple earphone and hear superior bass heavier than sony XB series headphones.

Q- F.M. Radio Not Working after Social Camera?
A- Backup your Apps (Use titanium Backup, Not Recovery), Wipe Everything. Flash ROM Again, Reboot, and After 1st boot Flash Social camera v1.2 and Enjoy.
Q- Xposed/ Gravity Box not working?
A- Make sure that all Xposed apps are in Internal memory and not sd card and update again.
Goto settings>apps and Move Xposed and Gravity Box or all other modules to Internal Memory.
Run Xposed and in Frameworks again Run "INSTALL/UPDATE" and reboot.
Now just UNCHECK Gravity Box and RE-CHECK Gravity Box and reboot.
This worked perfect on Z2 on my phone. It works on other phones too.
Q-Video Recording / HD video playback isn't working?
A-Flash fix. See in addons>smartsocial camera section
Q-How to use Smart Social Camera?
A- Download and flash the Zip from add-ons section and reboot, you'll find a background defocus or art filter camera in your app drawer open it and tap on the lowest bottom icon to switch between modules or use the camera widget in homescreen.
Q-Camera shows 6MP instead of 13MP?
A- change preview mode from full screen to 4:3
Q-Apps lose data on reboot?
A-Make sure you have that app in Internal storage and not sd card.
Q- feeling scrolling is slow?
A-Install Xposed Installer and xuimod, open Xposed Installer, tap on framework and Select install/update, don't reboot, Goto modules and tick xuimod then reboot.
Open xuimod and goto scrolling mod>scrolling configurations>set scroll friction to lower than 20
Q-How to switch between the Sims while calling or messaging?
A- Use The top-left icon on the notification panel to switch between Sims
Q- How to install OTA?
A- After Downloading OTA from OTA updater uncheck all options and press install, it'll reboot to recovery, there Goto Install>sdcard (external storage) >OTAupdater>download>update(zip) and flash it then reboot
Q-How to switch between Notification Panel and Quick Settings?
A-Drag the Notification Panel with two fingers for Quick Settings

Install Xposed Installer and gravity box, open Xposed Installer, tap on framework and Select install/update, don't reboot, Goto modules and tick gravity box then reboot.
Now open gravity box and goto statusbar tweaks>QuickSettings management>quick pulldown>right
And now pull the notification bar from the right side (where the clock is located) of your statusbar to get to QuickSettings​
Q- How to fix sound clarity of speaker? If u face Less clarity of sound then follow this guide by @007jigar.
First Go to Setting=>Sound=>and Disable Clear Phase,xloud and force surround 3D.
Then Download This Attachment"ViPER4Android".
Then Extract it and copy or replace with your ViPER4Android folder.
(Increase Sound Quality for Phone Speaker)
Open ViPER4Android FX=>Load Effect Profile=>Select louder.(Remember one thing,This setting is only for your phone speaker)
(Enable XperiaBass,Xperia ClearBass for Headset/Headphone)
Open ViPER4Android FX=>Go to Headset=>Load Effect Profile=>Select Xperiabass=>Apply Profile=Headset.
Now Open UI setting in ViPER4Android FX Menu..Then select Moderate (Preference)

There's an HTC clock widget from play that has working weather. Maybe the answer is there?
i don"t know... bt i f you have a kitkat rom you can use original thread from gakugaku and try to install his full solution...
it's more easier when you have a sense ROM to make it work properly i think nobody want try to port sense on this device, every dev, i follow on find7a are fan of AOSP, AOPK, CM, OMNI, then only pure android base...
Nobody want try to make a sense ROM based on m8 whi have a snapdragon too then more easier port i think beucause source for CPU is same... i m not dev, then i suppose it's easy but lot of work...
anyway... to try HTC feature from playstore, you need edit build.prop to make your device an HTC...

The one by droid 27 works on our device. It uses accuweather. Just don't know how to extract it.
On another note, do you know which registry key is responsible for headset volume? Want to increase it. Thanks.

If u have ColorOS, you can manage MaXX Audio to enhance to maximum sound... More effective than Viper4Android...

Am using maxx, but I want to increase the headset volume. It's not as loud as HTC beats and noise cancellation not effective enough. Outside sounds can still be heard. Is there a registry key to increase value?

Actually i can't know where you need search... Did you use stock headset with correct round size ? because if you can hear outdoor i thnik sound can pass in...

When we will have an update to kitkat weather will work with some other piece like keyboard, file explorer and some other stuff...
until Kitkat will appear officialy, you will have partial HTC experience. or flash a custom kitkat rom but still in progress actually !
Hi, I have an "installation failed" error message when I flash it in stock recovery. I'm currently using ColorOS 1.2.4i no root, and I tried to flash it when I was in 1.2.2i rooted, but with no success.
Does someone has the same issue ?
i use TWRP and it work on 2.0.0i & 2.0.1.i, on One+One, on nexus 5, On galaxy S 3,4,5, then it work on various device... Maybe you can try to use a custom recovery !

Finally tried it. Now my primary launcher. Really missed blinkfeed. So long as it isn't set as home, you don't miss clock and weather. Thanks.
i agree... Blinkfeed is a connected news with metro UI style... i like it... always good news from my list...
It miss some TC feature but actually one of the best newsreader on android...

For Xperia M​Dream, Imagine & Feel What You Can't Hear It Here...​
Hi everyone, i want to share my first soundmod for Xperia M device . First of all give thanks to @PDesire for source sound file and another sound developer . And with this soundmod i will introduce wonderful sound quality with stabilize, clear voice and include optimization for low freq channel (LFE). For now this soundmod work with all custom ROM for Xperia M That based on 6.0+.
This soundmod feature ;
- Qualcomm Audio Effects
- Sony Audio Effects
- Beats Audio with Harman Kardon
- Dolby DAX Audio
- SRS
- Alsa Resampler with 48KHz (96Khz for Experimental)
- SoundAlive Audio
- DTS Eagle
- BBESonicMax
- MaxxAudio and still many more inside
How to install :
- Remove all soundmod that already installed on your system before install my mod
- Download Hana Audio Engine and go to recovery, after that flash this zip
- And try to hear the different from Hana Audio Engine
After installing this soundmod, you can try to play some song to test. Not need to access soundenhancement again, but if you want it you still can access it .
How to access sony soundenhancement
- Go to settings and select apps and click 3 dot buttons
- Choose show system and search audioFX (or maybe you can try to disable this app)
- Search Open by default and choose Clear Defaults option.
- After that you can try to set it with cm music app, and go to equalizer settings with 3 dot buttons and select sony soundenhancement .
How to access Snapdragon Audio+ for video :
- Go to stock gallery app and try to play some video
- Plug in your headset to your phone and try to click 3 dot buttons
- Choose Audio Effects and and you can configure Snapdragon Audio+ in this part
(NOTE: try to disable this effects after you play video, because this will wake conflicts with Hana Audio)
For uninstallation this mod :
- Wipe your system and re-flash back your system with any additional zip in recovery mode
(if you have it and my mod will completely uninstalled)
I'm not make any uninstaller for this mod
Recommended Audio Player :
- Poweramp Audio Player
(For advanced audio configuration)

Nice work ! I installed you mod but when I try to access it I am not able to access it, only audio fx is opening! How to remove audiofx and get ur mod !?
And also if you provide steps to uninstall this mod, it will helpful for people who wants to try some other Mods

New update is released !
New Update is already released with new audio enhancement and new 96Khz audio freq (Experimental).
In this update i'm still enable DSEE-HX feature to make sound quality is good, but this make we can't use Sony Music app.
If someone want to use Sony Music App, then try to use root explorer and go to /system and choose file build.prop.
hold up for a second until new option is pop up, choose open in text editor and find this string.
"ro.somc.dseehx.supported=true" and change it too "ro.somc.dseehx.supported=false"
save and reboot your phone, then we can use Sony Music app again.
In this update i'm re-new sound engine and include 2 new engine , that you can switch it in terminal.
1. Hana Illusion Audio Enhancement (Stock Audio Effects) [AIE]
This audio engine will give you a sound quality with great balance for rock and pop music, include low background effects and great bass sound.
2. Hana Illusion Bass Audio Enhancement [AIBE]
This audio engine based on Hana Illusion, but this is not included low background effects, but have clear voice with great bass sound. This audio engine only support for rock music.
3. Hana Bass Audio Enhancement [HBAE]
This audio engine is based from old engine that have powerful bass and little background effects, my little brother design this effect. This audio engine only for rock and some pop music.
How to switch audio engine
- Download or install terminal emulator app from Playstore
- and type this command
su
cd /system/Hana-audio
sh hana.sh
- you can choose what audio engine that you'll switch it
- and reboot after it

How to change to 96Khz :
- Download or install terminal emulator app from Playstore
- and type this command
su
cd /system/Hana-audio
sh freq.sh
- you can choose what freq that you'll switch it
- and reboot after it
[NOTE : switch to 96Khz will give higher sound quality, but this will need a lot of cpu process too during sound processing.]
How to enable or disable 6 Audio Channel :
- Download or install terminal emulator app from Playstore
- and type this command
su
cd /system/Hana-audio
sh LFE.sh
- you can choose what channel that you'll switch it
- and reboot after it
[NOTE: Stock already enabled 6 [LFE] channel, if you try to disable it then channel will switch to 3 [LFE] channel.
