Hello guys,
I have an LG G3 dual sim - d858hk which I am trying to bring as close as possible to stock as I miss my Nexus 5 a lot.
I installed google launcher, clock, camera, photos etc. and it now looks as close as possible to stock (excluding notifications shade and some other things).
I am trying to install the google phone app but it's not allowing me to do so. My question is, does anyone know if I root my phone, will I be able to install these apps?
Also anyone know if the stock lock screen can be replaced? Thanks!

Hey there if you miss stock android like nexus 5 have you need to root your device because there is a custom ROM available for your model and it's stock ROM like AOSP ROM

is it possible to install the original android rom(created by google) on galaxy y ?
i don't want to use the rom made by samsung which has touchwiz and default loaded apps by samsung, i know i can use custom rom and remove apps but what about the ui ? can i use the original android ui developed by google the one i see in sdk
what is that ui called ?
is it possible to use it instead of touch wiz ?
Stock android launchers are available in form of Mods for some devices..
slightly offtopic.. anyone knows if Touchwiz is also hardware accelerated like the stock launcher?
i found one but it was for htc and didn't worked had problems with menu icons, where i can find one for my galaxy y ?

I did rooting few years ago. Later I forgot it unistalled Su user and factory reset. now ended up with RootValidator. did anyone found the original rom works with galaxy gt-s5360? How can I remove root validator and restore to the original state?
Hi guys I have installed the android revolution hd rom on my gnex and wouldn't want to change it but it saw a custom rom lockscreen picture with a function I would really like on my phone:
With stock when turning the screen on in the lockscreen you can choose if unlock or open the camera but nothing else; I think it would be useful to have also a quick SMS sending option or phone app opening!
Is there a way to install it without changing rom?
I dn't want to use apps like Lockscreen widget...

I very like the UI, it is very smooth and fast.
But i like some stock lg apps, how can i install them?
I like to install the stock camera, the stock gallery, dual window, qslide, radio fm.

Looking for the same answer, would like the Aosp or CM. But with some stock apps like the clipboard and lg remote, luckily for the remote is there already a way to get it running.
Does somebody know how to get the clipboard on Aosp?

On a xdadevelopers sprremix a developer was able to get some of the stock apps of the lg g3. ( can't guarantee it would work)

As the title would say, are there any lollipop dialler APKs or something? I can't install it from Google Play since it's not compatible with my version and i don't want to install apps such as KK Dialler or ExDialer :-\ I also searched for APKs but can't find any version that fits my phone's OS (Android 5.0.2, API 21). The reason why I am asking for this is simply because I hate Lagwiz- i mean Touchwiz, and I am replacing original apps one by one (disabling them with root access). But i simply can't find Google dialler (looking for version 2.0 because that's for 5.0 lollipop), so I have thought to ask around here
I hope people with similar issues will find this thread to discuss about this... You can also give me a flashable zip but with some detailed instructions since I have little to no experience with flashing zip files (never did it).

Hi all, i have done some debloats inside the stock MM rom for G3 and now my LG Keyboard has gone, dont working and i have done another damn action...instead of move the IME apk to another place and try to re-install them i delete the apk and now i have no keyboard...and i dont like other keyboards and want the stock one...anyone can post it to me?

its no use.i tried it and it does not works .so i guess in the next update N&N will put back the lg g3 keyboard
