Man, there was NEVER ANY Android device on which Windows could be installed.
2 minutes of googling would have been enough so that you hadn't to post this question.

Microsoft did release a Windows 10 Rom for Xiaomi MI 4 and was also planning to release it for the oneplus 3. There are also some devices which have both Windows and Android installed out of the box.
Yea, I hope Microsoft comes through with the Windows ROM. I would flash it.
It's hard to get open source systems (like Android) to work on officially unsupported devices. Windows is closed source so we'll definitely not gonna see it unless Microsoft decides to bring it to OP3.

I don't want to discredit the miracles all friends here doing.Really, some ROMs can turn our phones into spaceships(!)with all those features. But if i'll see another cm-based rom here,i will slit my wrist(not to mention that CM-based roms have issues AND they're not compatible with some system ZenUI apps, like flip cover, radio or Splendid)! There are some really nice looking "skins"of Android firmware, like Miui or EMUI,with really cool features, too! Will someone give them a shot?!

You know, our phone is x86 based and this is a major reason why we'll never got such roms like MIUI, LewaOS or EMUI it's rather dificalt to build it or to port it to our phone.
We don't see miui because the patchrom is only on android 4.4 which our device never got so we don't have drivers for that and it is really hard to port from another phone since the zf2 has and x86 intel processor

first of all your thread is in wrong place
I don't get you guys i mean you are talking like we can easily build port bla bla ... but we are not doing
i mean why you guys try to do that by yourself instead of commanding us to do that
yeah miui just got a patch rom for 5.0 now one of our devs is trying to bring it up when we had chance believe me my friend we are trying that just before you tell us
As i said,i don't want to descredit the huge work you're all doing and definitely not going to "command" anyone. And it seems i will never understand where is the right place to post here!I'm glad to hear this is going to happen!Thank you for your reply and the hard work you're all doing, really!
I wonder: Why is this thread on development section?
I personally agree with @Nyks45.
MIUI's patchrom source is available (and updated to use 6.0 as base), but I don't think devs could port MIUI to our x86 devices, since patchrom files are for arm (and arm64 (?)).

MIUI8's patchrom uses 6.0 as base ROM.
EDIT:
By the way, if someone could manage to port it without any major problems, I myself would greatly appreciate it in any way.

but can we port Nexus experience rom? just asking if possible
Well,
CM13 Is A Very Stable rom so why can't we use CM sources combined with MIUI?
@adaa1262
You can't use the CM13 MIUI roms because the compilations with MIUI are for Snapdragon processors not for Intel
Each processor type have their own tree for the builds
As we all know our 1+5T doesn't support project treble,
so my question is,
is this hardware or software dependent?
In other words,
is it possible for devs to find a way to implement it in future custom roms or in a kernel for our dumpling?
Or would this just be impossible?
Thanks in advance

Good question.
At least one would need to repartition internal card, if I understood. This alone is not impossible but a bit hard and not without risk.
That said often I wonder if it could be possible to boot, say, TWRP (or any other Linux) from USB and take full dd backup of internal card for all certainty (and then repartition). This is how many Android TV boxes can be backed up (they use u-boot infrastructure). So why not phones?

This question has been discussed lots before.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/how-to/change-org-project-treble-op5t-t3709841
Implementing Project Treble would require repartitioning storage. Also, it gives literally zero benefit to a custom ROM.
TL;DR: It's never going to happen.

I mark these words. Have a nice day.
update
Perhaps there is no functional benefit. But porting seems easier for some devices:
What about :

This is the Samsung Galaxy S9 running on AOSP Android Oreo thanks to Project Treble

Yup, somebody saw a mountain and decided to climb it. We'll see what comes of it.
Yeah mokee ROM has treble working on the OnePlus One 5T. There's an unused partition that can be created without re-partition in the device and if you install a regular ROM it doesn't see it you install a treble ready ROM and you previously had mokee installed according to the mokee dev it works. It uses the ab style of treble. There is an "a" and "ab" and "a/b" versions from what I read. Mokee is releasing nightlies of their ROM
Haven't tried it on mine pretty happy with the aicp Oreo that I'm running so I can't tell you what bugs it has. Google it XDA has a discussion on mokee and treble with OnePlus 5t
Would anyone be interested in this for our device? I'm thinking of building it for myself. It seems pretty straight forward

Sorry boys. I was working on it but I saw Jaguar Rom and decided that was about as good as it was gonna get. I own a company and it would have taken me an eternity to do it on my own with what little free time I have to dedicate to it. Jaguar does a fantastic job of keeping your data safe. Just download the vanilla version without Google crap. Install Aurora store if you need to restore any apps you got from Google. I've been using it as my DD now for a few months and I have to say, it's legit. I'm not gonna list my credentials or anything as most people on XDA know me by now, but I would say that if you think I'm wrong, please download the rom and try to find a problem that Graphene would fix. Hell they even let you relock your bootloader on Jaguar. The phone can die and your alarm will still go off if there is enough battery to start it and sound the alarm. The dev ( @optimumpro ) is super cool and was very helpful with some of the things I needed help de-goggle-fying. I highly recommend it. I'm sorry if I got anyone's hopes up. I will be asking for the thread to be closed now as I have no intentions on developing this rom as I feel it's redundant.

Where to download Jaguar for 7T?
Another rom similar to grapheneos available for op7t is divestos.org which is based on lineageos but implements several privacy and security measures and allows you to re-lock the bootloader
Agree about Divest OS, but since OP discussed Jaguar rom which is brand new, I wanted more details about Jaguar

I am the developer for Jaguar rom. Unfortunately, it is not available for Oneplus 7 series, although, I can build one for 7s, if there is sufficient interest.
Also, Jaguar for Oneplus 5, 6 , 8s and 9s has been available for many years and certainly long before DivestOS and GrapheneOS ever appeared. Just look at my profile: you don't get 14700+ 'thank yous' in a year or two. (not bragging, but rather stating the fact).
Sure, OP was discussing Jaguar of op7t which doesn't exist. That's why I was asking about it. Besides e OS, LOS18 with microg, DivestOS (fork of LOS19), yaap vanilla, flamingo vanilla, op7t does not have any other degoogled rom

I have built a trial version of Jaguar for Oneplus 7T. Please test it, since my phone is Oneplus 8.
OOS-11 (not 12) is required in both slots. Installation is the same as Lineage. Don't forget factory reset before the first boot.
Rom: Here
Recovery: Here
Kernel Source: Here
May or may not boot, but even if you boot, submit a logcat (let it run for a few minutes).

Hi, thanks for sharing. As part of the XDA rules and GPLv2 requirement, could you please also post your kernel sourcel link? All ROMs posted on XDA must have the kernel source code available. Thank you.

Logcat.txt doesn't have enough entries. You should run it for a few minutes at least and try to open/close camera a few times.

Is this for Android 11 or Android 12? If it's for Android 12, does CDMA/Verizon Wireless work? If Verizon Wireless does work, how did you get it to work?

It's a pretty important question. Blame OnePlus's recent doings for making it so hard of a "development friendly" device. If someone were to use it as a daily driver, I'm sure they'd want their service/data to work. If you know, kindly share please.

You didn't get my point. This isn't a daily driver ROM where you just download and use it as stable. The idea of this thread was to gain testers and for them to share feedback to the developer so that it can be figured out what works and what doesn't, and of course reporting any other bugs. Asking questions here on what works and what doesn't is the opposite of what the developer was trying to achieve with this thread/request. Either you test and share your Feedback or you just stop asking for "what are the bugs" in a ROM which does even have it's initial release, hence the "Testing" part.

You are right, of course, except that the rom is pretty stable for Oneplus 8 and 6 series. The reason for testing is: a new device ( 9 PRO), which I don't have.
Thanks to everyone. I got a good response from several testers. I am doing the final touches and will post the rom in the development thread in a few days.
ordered 9 pro. I will receive it by January 30, I want to test your firmware
The rom could be used on locked bootloader (donate feature) with or without Gapps.

I wasn't the one asking. Chill out buddy, grab a beer. I'm sure the dev or whoever was testing the ROM could've said a quick "yes" or "no" on if mobile data works.

This is Android 11 rom and Verizon works fine on Oneplus 8 series.
In my experience, Android releases don't become stable until r30 or so. Android 12 is certainly not stable. Why? Ask Google. My take is all they care about is monetizing user data, so, all other features are on the back burner.
The rom is ready to be posted for everybody.
